28/08/2026: Beautiful pub. Food was excellent. Has such a family feel. Great for a family meal. Would definitely recommend

14/08/2026: 2023 Stopped for food and had a fantastic meal. The people beside us were drinking Guinness and they looked great pints but unfortunately I had the car so couldn't sample one for myself. 2024 Stopped for food on a trip to Kerry. Such a disappointment after last year's great experience. Chicken goujons were as hard as a rock and the prices have jumped up hugely. I said it to a member of staff who apologised and said it was a new chef/cook in the kitchen. No offer of a discount or anything. Such a pity we have stopped there numerous times over the years but won't be back. So sorry to hear that,I will call again in the future

27/07/2026: The Irish House is a brilliant pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Alan and his team are always wonderfully friendly, the service is excellent, and they make us feel right at home every time we visit. The craic and banter are second to none—exactly what you would hope for from a proper Irish pub. We go there regularly and always have a great time, so we will certainly keep coming back. Fair play to Alan and the whole team!

Always a nice, relaxed place to visit, and the food is really tasty. Definitely a great local spot that I’m happy to have nearby!

18/09/2026: I personally really enjoyed it and discovered the Ostara Stout, but that wasn't all! The bar is very large with a big room at the back. Gamers gather there and create a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner in a warm and peaceful setting.

24/08/2026: Ordered a delivery from here for about 65euro Took 90 minutes to arrive to us on a Monday night along with an absolutely cremated pizza that was inedible. Never ordering here again after this. Muck!

22/08/2026: The pizza was 6/10 , fresh , but excessive tomato topping Veg pizza should be balanced Whole chunks of tomatoes were inside . The staff was helpful and Indian girl was very friendly in nature

29/07/2026: Really disappointed with our order. It took over an hour to arrive, and both the pizza and chicken dippers were cold. We ordered a half-and-half pizza, but the toppings were all mixed together instead of being separated. We only managed a few bites because it was that bad. Since then, both my friend and I have been vomiting and sweating all day. A terrible experience from start to finish, and we definitely won’t be ordering again.

06/08/2026: Food was good, had the lasagna, no complaints it was very tasty.. It was August bank holiday, so was busy but not that busy, that the staff couldn't have kept on top of everything, very slow service

04/08/2026: We stopped off here on our way to Killarney but unfortunately we personally won't be returning. Food was ok but quite bland. We were constantly battling with flies landing on our food and in to our drinks and the toilets were also full of them! I appreciate its difficult to control this but other eateries seem to manage to achieve a more comfortable dining experience for guests. The staff were friendly and helpful though and the bar area itself was otherwise ok.

17/07/2026: Love it. Great wee bar. Great outside area. Live music most nights. Nearby street food area where they serve pizzas, nachos etc. Serve craft beers and cider.

22/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic experience at Lettuce Eat in Swinford. They are incredibly accommodating when it comes to allergies and food intolerances, taking the time to listen carefully and make sure everything is suitable. It is genuinely the place to eat when you have dietary restrictions and still want to feel confident and included. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and clearly prepared with great care. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout. It is rare to find somewhere that combines such excellent allergy awareness with food that looks and tastes amazing. Highly recommended — we will definitely be returning!
