17/12/2025: Nice place and friendly staff. Had our Christmas party there and tried 6 cocktails and all were horrible, couldn't believe they couldn't make a nice cocktail

27/01/2026: There is a racist word sprayed on the window to the side, clearly visible from inside. I mentioned it on NYE and the barman was aware of it. I went back 3 weeks later amd it's still there. Dublin is a welcoming city but a pub not caring their windows are graffitied with offensive language means I don't feel welcome in this pub anymore

27/12/2025: A typical Irish pub, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with wood and soft lighting, and beers to die for. Food is not served, in typical Irish style. Highly recommended!

03/03/2026: I visited here with 6 other friends on a Saturday evening and I honestly cannot recommend enough. We had an array of different foods. Each better than the next! We had plenty of cocktails and all absolutely stunning. The service was second to none, such friendly waiters and even ordering cocktails which can be time consuming in a lot of places but here there was absolutely no delay. We all loved our evening here and I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks to all the staff for a fabulous meal and excellent service.

09/02/2026: This restaurant was really nice and a pleasant change from the loud pubs nearby. Our greeting was warm and professional, and we were seated immediately.. both my husband and I enjoyed steak for dinner. The taste of the steak as well as a char grilled flavor was outstanding. The host could not have been nicer.. She offered me a taste of the Irish stew before ordering it as I told her I was not a big fan of lamb generally. The Guinness was perfect, as was the Dingle gin and tonic, which I enjoyed.

09/03/2026: One of the worst carveries I have ever had. The roast beef was unbelievably tough. You could nearly hammer a nail with it. I actually felt bad for the lady serving it because she was clearly struggling to cut through it herself. The service was just as disappointing. We arrived with 2 babies and were seated in the very corner where bar tables and other tables were blocking the way. We had to move about 4 chairs just to get in. Within about 10 minutes we were asked if we were ready to order 3 separate times, which felt very rushed. The table next to us had it even worse. The same staff member asked them 5 times in the same short span. Then when we were actually ready to order, she had disappeared. We also asked for a high chair from the same staff member and it never came. We eventually had to ask another waitress who, to be fair, was very friendly and helpful. There were also several men walking around asking people how the food was before many tables had even received their meals, which felt very odd. I normally go to the Martello, but since I had parked beside Star I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The staff clearly need proper training and the food quality needs serious improvement.

18/03/2026: Food was excellent. Walked in on mother's day and they were able to accommodate us. Staff were very friendly and service was very quick. Ordered the fish and chips and it was very good, the others with me ordered the roast beef and I was jealous it looks so good. Beautiful lean and tender slices of beef with all the trimmings, looked and tasted excellent.

15/03/2026: Was here for a work trip. Nice clean rooms, good gym facilities and good menu. Breakfast in the morning offered a very good variety and proximity to services and amenities was excellent. Staff were helpful and pleasant. I’d be happy to stay here again

08/11/2025: Was redirected to patcheens after attempting foleys which stopped food for the season. Very glad it came recommended so we didnt have yo go all the way into dingle proper for a meal. Great cozy atmosphere, some table games for kids, tvs around to show the game, delicious pizza and wings! And top notch service 👌 you can also carry out cans as they have a off license attached. Tucked away in a sleepy quiet town but very much worth a stop in if looking for good atmosphere and delicious grub

27/08/2025: A great pub to add to your list to visit in anascaul, lovely food on offer and good quirky decor. Not as big as some but plenty of seating areas.

15/03/2026: This is hands down the best bbq pork and beef I’ve found in Europe. The Carolina sauce brought me back to South Carolina. Service and vibe was great as well. Outstanding!

03/12/2025: Lovely location and accommodating staff. Booked the suite and the whole hotel was decorated in the spirit of Christmas which was lovely. Just one minor suggestion: Consider partnering with local artists for artwork to be added to rooms and potentially it being able to be research via qr code and purchased.

02/12/2025: Room was very comfortable, the perfect size with plenty of space, but not too big. Excellent bathroom. Service at the hotel were excellent. All staff were outstanding, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, poached egg and avocado was delicious, eggs perfectly cooked. Having access to the swimming pool at the Great Southern was a great bonus and it is only across the road from the townhouse.

21/12/2025: Brought all three types of karahi for family and everyone absolutely loved them.

04/12/2025: I ordered a Veg Biryani for takeaway and received it in no time. As for the food — both the quality and quantity were outstanding. I’ve never had such a good biryani in Ireland before, where quality and quantity come together so perfectly. ( Veg Biriyani🙂)

22/03/2026: The dirt of this place. The place is in bad need of refurbishment, the upstairs looks like it was last cleaned and redecorated in the late 80s or early 90s.
