15/11/2025: I went to Joxer Dalys for the first time last week and my boyfriend and I had the best experience! Very friendly staff, a welcoming environment and the DJ set was full of 80s, 90s and Irish tracks which kept a great vibe the whole night through. Would really recommend to anyone looking for a good night out and to any music lovers

06/06/2026: From the moment I arrived at The Sandymount Hotel, I felt a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful historic building and its meticulously maintained surroundings offer wonderful warmth and comfort. ​I highly appreciate the hotel's commitment to accessibility. Although there are high stairs at the main entrance, a modern 🛗 elevator is available for ♿️ wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. Navigation throughout the interior spaces is fully adapted and seamless. Also, while the hotel is not generally pet-friendly, registered service and guide pets are fully welcome. ​The hospitality is outstanding; the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful at every turn. The dining experience was another highlight, the food was delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a superb selection of high-quality dishes. ​Additionally, free secure private 🅿️ parking directly on-site (including reserved spaces for wheelchair users) and complimentary 🛜 Wi-Fi made the stay effortless. The location is ideal—peaceful, quiet, and perfectly accessible. ​My room was impeccably clean and cosy, though a bit too dark for my preference. The only minor drawback was the bathroom sink, which made loud plumbing noises when adjacent rooms used water. Despite this, I am leaving with lovely memories and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin. 02/06/2026: i would give it 10 stars if i could...this hotel is the best i have ever stayed in. brilliant staff, clean luxurious rooms, comfort, an amazing exeprience...great car park...it is just brilliant. sissy and lilian in reception were phenomenal.. do yourself a favor and stay here.

28/05/2026: Lovely pub with 12 different beers on tap and a spacious beer garden in the back. If you want something to eat, you can get whatever you like from across the street and eat it here with a nice pint of beer.

09/05/2026: What a bizarre attitude from the staff in this place. My partner and I went in for coffee and breakfast while our daughter was at dance class. He ordered an omelette, and I ordered a black coffee and a plain scone. I specifically told the waitress twice that I only had about 15 minutes before needing to leave for a train, so I’d really appreciate something quick and simple. At no point did anyone mention that service was running slow or that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate such a basic order within that timeframe. Twenty minutes later, there was still no coffee or scone. Thought we were the only customers in the place. I politely asked to cancel my order and left for my train. After that, the waitress told my partner he would still have to pay for my cancelled order because apparently it was “my fault” for not waiting longer. Then the chef came out to argue with him as well, saying it was “our problem” if we didn’t have at least an hour for breakfast. An hour for black coffee and scone? Completely unnecessary and honestly shocking behaviour over a €6–7 order. If a café can’t provide quick service, that’s absolutely fine, but communicate that clearly when a customer explains their time constraints. Don’t stay silent, keep them waiting, then argue with them afterwards. We’d been here a few times before, but we definitely won’t be returning, and I’ll be advising friends and neighbours to avoid it too.

27/10/2025: I happened into this place at the corner, thirsty for a pint and hungry for a meal. It was perfect. All I knew of Irish beer was Guinness - I wanted to try something different. The bartender was super friendly, I wish I knew her name, she helped me pick a local lager by lining up a taste of three for me and I picked the Ambush. She was great. The fish and chips were the best. Comfortable inside not too crowded not too empty friendly good music but not overpowering and it was ideal. So I came back two days later and had exactly the same, the bartender remembered me welcoming back, I sat at a table and read my book, had my meal, drank my beer - a cold rainy but perfect night in Dublin.

14/05/2026: Good burger and very good sweet potato fries. Love the simplicity of the call card menu.

20/04/2026: Delivers high quality food for a pretty decent price. Burgers and shakes are excellent, fries aren't the best but are still worth the price. Service is good and fast as long as you don't go at absolute peak times (e.g. I was seated in about ten minutes on Monday night and left after waiting for about an hour on Friday night).

23/08/2025: A truly welcoming bar! The staff is friendly and very professional, always attentive to customer needs; the atmosphere is clean and meticulously maintained. Ideal for both a quick break and a relaxing moment. Highly recommended!
