16/08/2026: Had awesome dinners here years ago and the awesome steaks and chicken wings are well missed they should open back up kitchen. But the toasted sandwiches are delicious but the Arthur Maynes Steak and chicken wings were world class

20/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Killarney Royal Townhouse. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of town and conveniently located for exploring Killarney and many of the area’s top attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with delicious food and great service. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return on our next visit to Ireland!

21/08/2026: I have known Shijo Shijo Bhaskaran since 2003, from his days with TAJ Hotels, so I knew we were in for something special when we decided to visit The Holy Grail, New Ross for our first Sadya of the year on Atham 1. Three families made the journey all the way from Dublin to experience the legendary hospitality that Shijo and his team are known for, and every mile was worth it. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. A beautifully arranged table, complete with traditional banana leaves, was waiting for us. Once seated, Shijo, his brother Shibu, and their wonderful team served each dish with care and attention. The spread was exceptional: Erissery, Olan, Kalan, Pacha Moru, Madhurakkari, Koottu Curry, Pachadi, Kichadi, Inji Curry and many more, each prepared to perfection and bursting with authentic flavour. To crown the feast, we were treated to two delicious varieties of payasam, providing the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Despite the restaurant being full, the service remained smooth, attentive, and perfectly paced. It was truly "food for the soul." We left with our hearts and stomachs equally full, completely satisfied by the experience. A heartfelt thank you to Shijo, Shibu, and the entire Holy Grail New Ross team for your humble hospitality and outstanding service. 12/08/2026: Will never set foot in there again, ignorant security guy came over and stared into our faces for entire time we were there, my 2 friends and myself all in our teens were having a meal which we do 2/3 times per week when this guy stood beside our table grinning and smirking at us, i politely asked him to leave us alone but he never moved, This guy is obviously a foreign national, at first i thought he didn't understand me but then i heard him tell a pair of kids t sit down and behave, so it was not a language barrier. We told the girl behind the counter as we left what had happened and we would not be back, she just nodded and said your not the first. DISGRACEFUL

Have to mention the wonderful staff member who looked after us the last 2 Thursdays we visited (approx 5pm - tall blonde hair) She is an absolute credit to herself & the Chambers, warm, welcoming, friendly, super efficient & great at her job. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she definitely deserves promotion 👏👏👏

05/07/2026: The hotel was super clean, the breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip. The air conditioner did not work in our family suite, so we were given fans the first night which helped; however, we did have to crack the windows. Also, the access to the family suites was only by multiple stairs passages which was inconvenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

28/05/2026: We were booked in to room 606 on the top floor of this hotel. When we entered the room we were met with an overwhelming wall of heat (approx 30 plus degrees C) We fiddled around the with air-con controls to no avail, even the max fan speed setting felt very underpowered and didn't cool the room at all. I ended up ringing reception and requesting a portable fan, which was brought up very promptly. The room didn't cool much during the night which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. All things said, it's a lovely hotel. Breakfast was very fresh with a great selection to choose from and staff were very friendly. I understand the room is in a corner location with a nearly full glass facade, but on a hot day the room becomes almost unbearable to be in and just doesn't cool down enough My recommendation would be to install a stronger or more effective air-con unit

30/08/2026: Cracking bar with great Guinness and food. Fantastic sports memorabilia on the walls. Loads of tvs to watch sports. We both had the Smash burgers which were unreal. My only complaint was I asked to substitute fries for cajun fries and was told no problem. Then to be charged an extra 1.50 for them was disappointing. They were the same price on the menu and I could at least have been told they were extra.
