07/06/2026: Fabulous hotel. Perfect location and we had a beautiful room overlooking the marina. Staff were amazing and we were well looked after. Breakfast was perfect 👌 Highly recommend 👌 We would definitely stay here again.

26/05/2026: I had a great experience with Tom Roghan through a Property in Waterford City Centre, on Francis Street. From the very beginning, Tom was extremely helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the whole process. He was always available to answer any questions and helped me with everything I needed, making everything much easier and less stressful. I’m very grateful and thankful for all the work and effort he put into helping me whenever something came up. I truly appreciate the excellent treatment and kindness I received, and I would highly recommend Tom and Sherry FitzGerald to anyone looking for professional and reliable support.

26/05/2026: Every now and then I treat myself to a full Irish breakfast. This morning I'm in the greenmount restaurant. This was by far the tastiest breakfast I've tasted so far! The restaurant is spotlessly clean, staff are friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. Full Irish including toast and a pot of tea €14. I can highly recommend it!

22/04/2026: This place feels stuck in the past, clinging to its history to justify an outdated, elitist culture. The service is inconsistent and clearly depends on how the owners perceive you upon arrival... Wealthy or 'traditional' patrons are prioritized, while those who don't fit a specific mold are made to feel unwelcome. It’s a space built for a tight-knit local circle rather than one that welcomes new, interesting perspectives. If you don't fit their narrow image, expect to be treated accordingly. Even more concerning is the clear internal hierarchy; the owners rule with an exclusionary hand, while the waitstaff are treated poorly and clearly overworked.

04/04/2026: We ate here in 2022, and it was a must-return in 2026. Nice and snug, great place for a delicious bite and a pint after a hike at Sliabh Liag. Great food, atmosphere and staff. We did not stay at the inn.

10/05/2026: Vegan salad was good a little spice or some Tofu for protein would have elevated it. Sticky toffee sauce was delicious but the pudding had a burnt after taste which ruined a great dessert.

23/11/2025: The whole experience was amazing. We went there for breakfast and ordered the full Irish Breakfast, omelette and nutella pancakes. The owners were extremely accomodating and so friendly. Everything we odered was scrumptious and the service was perfect. A nice and cosy place with warm hearted owners making this a most pleasent experience. We will definately be going back! Haleema

05/05/2026: I had the pepper quiche with salad. The quiche was very tasty. The pastry base was light and crisp and the filling was very tasty. The vegetables in the salad were really fresh and crunchy. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. Would highly recommend Gourmet Parlour.
