21/03/2026: Very disappointed. Ordered a Parma pizza. I waited 1hr 10 mins which is fine on a Saturday. When I did get my pizza however I realised they had sent the wrong one. When I rang back they said they must have put the wrong label on the box and offered to remake. At that stage what's the point. €30 for a pizza, dip and drink is very expensive if you're going to be making mistakes.

17/03/2026: We were really looking forward to enjoying some great Irish food on St. Patrick’s Day, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were seated quickly and placed our order for both appetizers and entrees right away. The appetizers came out promptly and were delicious, but after that, everything went downhill. We waited an extremely long time for our main meals, asking multiple times and speaking with several different staff members. Meanwhile, tables around us were seated, served, and finished their meals while we were still waiting. We were given several explanations, such as the kitchen being busy or delays due to ordering appetizers, but it became clear that our order had never been placed. After asking for help multiple times, another server finally stepped in and our food was eventually brought out. Very frustrating experience, especially on a day we were excited to celebrate.

07/03/2026: Really amazing food and service. I dont generally eat vegatables, but I even ate the broccoli which was prepared in a unique way and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn't fault anything. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Well worth treating yourself to a meal here.

07/03/2026: This is easily one of the best ribeye steaks I’ve had — incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous and everything had great flavour. The broccoli was a real surprise — not bland or over-steamed like you often get, but really tasty and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bathrooms were spotless (with proper paper towels, which is always appreciated). Overall I was really impressed and will definitely return next time I’m in Trim.

03/01/2026: It was perfect and we were a group of 6. The staff was lovely and attentive, answering any question we had and making good suggestions (get the garlic potatoes). The ramen was delicious and so was the Tofu Katsu Curry. It was a great experience, will go again and would recommend.

25/10/2025: Omg burgers and chip unreal.Burgers are so juicey and chip really crispy.Would 100% recommend this place both for the food and owner so friendly and I had my grandson who is 10 and he said it was the best burger he ever had

19/12/2025: Just had a delicious toasted chicken sandwich and coffee at Food Capers. The chicken was fresh and not the horrible package stuff many places do now. Service was efficient and friendly. Will deffo be back!

The food arrived quickly and we felt very comfortable the whole time. We will definitely return and highly recommend the restaurant.

14/11/2025: A very pleasant place with a subtle and relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious; I don't recommend the ramen as it was too dry for my taste. The rest of the dishes were very tasty, and the sake was excellent. The staff was very attentive.

08/03/2026: The experience with the door security was extremely unpleasant and completely unprofessional. The bouncer got angry because he claimed I didn’t say hello, even though I did — he just didn’t hear it. Instead of handling the situation calmly, he reacted with attitude and started arguing, which felt totally unnecessary. It’s surprising that management allows this kind of behaviour at the entrance because it gives a terrible first impression. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that the door security is a recurring complaint from many customers. Between the poor attitude at the door, average unfriendly service from staff and limited food options and drinks, the place feels poorly managed. Management really needs to address the behaviour of their security team because it’s damaging the reputation of the pub. But maybe 🤔 they don't care....

08/03/2026: The door staff last tonight seemed irritated with everyone arriving. The security man was abrupt and not very welcoming at all. It made the whole experience start off on the wrong foot
