31/10/2025: Had such a lovely experience at this cafe! Recently found out I was coeliac and the waitress was so lovely and helpful! Food was absolutely beautiful and had lots of options!

18/10/2025: Lots of servers floating around, but no one to take our order at the table. We were the only customers in there early in the morning, eventually ordered at the till. Coffee terrible. Good location near the fracture clinic in Affidea, but disappointing overall.

13/09/2025: Love O'Deas however was very disappointed recently with their chicken curry, portion was tiny. There were only 4 very small pieces of chicken in it and hardly any veg. Portion of rice was small also.

31/08/2025: A very tiny wonderful place, the best apricot oat slice I ever had! After a nice walk this is a very good option!

03/06/2025: Delicious sandwiches and cakes. Vegan and vegetarian options, and excellent, freshly baked bread to take away.

09/10/2025: The place is mainly take away, but oh so delicious. What I loved most was that most of the food was dairy free. Something hard to come by in Dublin. Had the pea and watercress soup and it was so very delicious. Great smooth creamy and not overly salted ! Also had the sirloin sand which and it was very tasty with the truffle mayo. Which was light in feel, I could’ve had it with less mayo but I personally just don’t love mayo. Will have to return to try their other foods.

05/09/2025: A very good pub in the area with excellent staff, it has a back area with huge wooden benches, very good pints, in short, an authentic traditional Irish pub, and now with the students returning there will be many lively nights.

13/09/2025: Discovered by chance on our road trip through Ireland and an absolute treasure. The waffles are fantastic, as is the avocado toast. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

06/09/2025: Drove up and could see there was only 2 people inside but there was nowhere to park. Parked in a dodgy spot and went in. Asked about parking and was told the cars outside are the delivery drivers 😆. Lads, rule no1 of any establishment, have somewhere for customers to park. Delivery drivers taking up customer spaces is madness. Onto the food. Not good enough and its clear theres no other chipper around so standards are low. Chips were awful, cooked about 3 times id say, the burger was poor, and was inedible from about a gallon of sauce on it. The chicken breast was excellent tho tbf. Ive been to Amerigos in Kilmeague since and its a billion times better. Sorrento needs improving or needs some local competition to force better standards.

Fantastic location literally on the beach, food here is absolutely delicious, dined here lately and I have never had such delicious tasty food and I'm fussy about food! I'm a vegetarian and the vegetarian dish was fantastic, the food was so good I didn't want my meal to be over. Super comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Always a great welcome here, lovely staff. Gillian is a pure gem,so friendly, helpful and kind. Thanks to everyone at the Smugglers Inn.
