23/09/2026: Very tasty. Giant steak with an even bigger portion of french fries. There's no place to sit, you have to grab it and go to eat on the street. Depending on how hungry you are, it's enough to share over two people.

19/09/2026: Awesome fish & chips served warmly with generous vinegar and salt, if you want it. Is just by the Christchurch cathedral and is just takeaway which made me re-consider going but glad I did. Had it in the small park around 50m (Peace park) in nice sunshine. The fish was absolutely fresh crusty on the outside but soft and delicious on the inside. Chips were nice

07/09/2026: I loved the food . The only thing was the place was a little cosy . There is this drink called Sehlab drink which I had ordered twice . It was that amazing .

19/08/2026: Had a really great time for our wedding anniversary. Lovely atmosphere, really chilled and homely. Staff were lovely. Food was exceptional and we're going back because there's loads more on the menu we're dying to try. Really well priced too

15/09/2026: Was at the American football match I need some food to soak up the drink. They have some very good special offers so I got some chicken specified rice for dinner which I thought was exceptional value for the quantity that came out. Fast efficient service of the police clean or be quiet.

29/08/2026: Awful! Watery sauce, vegetables is just a load on onions. Chicken tasted awful. Egg fried rice tasted like nothing.

16/07/2026: My holiday at Clybaun Hotel was fantastic! 🤩 The rooms were so comfortable, and the service was excellent. I loved the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. 😌 The location is brilliant too; there's a bus stop literally right outside with links to the city center! 🚌 Absolutely perfect stay. ✨

11/08/2026: The food was excellent hot and tasty, service was great friendly and helpful The Sorrento quarter pounder very tasty, the curry cheesy chips one of the best I have had in a while and the chefs pizza very nice, will be back when in Bunclody again well worth the visit.

06/07/2026: Our 2nd time in Kemmare bay hotel stayed there for our 3rd wedding anniversary staff were so warm and welcoming room upgraded box of chocs and a card in the room reception staff fantastic

08/06/2026: In much need of a refurb. Rooms small and dated. No lifts to the rooms which was no problem for us but would not like to be having to get a pram up to the rooms or anyone that has mobility issues. Staff at reception were unremarkable. Not rude but not very friendly.

09/09/2026: I booked the upstairs venue for a baptism and can't recommend this place enough. Great service from start to finish. Dealing with Rory the manager was a pleasure who met with us in person and followed up with an email of the menu and options. The venue is amazing. On a sunny day all the doors open up to terraces facing onto harbour and feels well ventilated. The staff set the tables beforehand and allowed me to come night before to drop off cake and pictures of our baby. The food was exceptional and too much of it. Really good quality and fresh. The staff was exceptional especially the manager. We had one guest with a rare allergy and she went out of her way to help, getting the chef to rustle up something to suit her requirements. The guests all enjoyed the day out. Still talking about the food! It was just really good and stress free experience. Didn't have to worry about timing - could just enjoy the day ourselves as well. A well oiled machine - highly recommend

04/09/2026: Note that Google says they close at 12 AM on a Friday. This is not completely true. The kitchen closes at 8PM on a Friday. Was really looking forward to eating here.

31/05/2026: Stunning location, beautiful walks surrounding the house. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food at breakfast was beautiful.
