The best restaurants

18/05/2025: The 2 women that were on this afternoon were lovely and friendly people, food was lovely. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Nice hotel, decent bedroom sizes, comfy and a welcome stay. But the real positive of this hotel is the overstay carparking. We used this hotel as it's a great deal, allowing us to stay the night before our flight out of Shannon, and a safe place to keep our car while we are away. The alternative is Shannon Airport itself at double the price, and no bed for the night. The only complaint I had was the door into our bathroom had suffered some wear and tear. The handle was coming away, it was need of desperate repair, but if you were careful it was ok.

29/10/2025: I spent just one night here with my two kids, and everything was great. The hotel has a great pool, jacuzzi, saunas, ample parking, and a 24-hour restaurant right next to the hotel. The beds are comfortable, and the people working there are nice, so we might return someday. Plus, I booked on their website because it was cheaper than on other platforms, even with my discounts.

28/09/2025: Lovely stay in Maldron last night. Josh was so friendly at reception and even wrote Annie her own key card! Roisin was so chatty for breakfast and dinner! Fab location and facilities as well😃

10/09/2025: Had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Was not dissapointed. Very busy on weekends, but well worth the visit. Friendly staff and excellent service.

14/10/2025: Not Autism friendly! Refusing a child that has a disability, as an establishment ye should be ashamed. Judging a child like that, would you judge someone in a wheelchair that also has a disability as quick? Disgusting! As a place my son liked I won’t ever be spending my money here again and will be telling others the same.

27/10/2025: I’m really disappointed with how my cousin and I were treated at this pub. My cousin is autistic, and instead of showing any understanding or patience, the staff were rude and dismissive toward her. We were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, which completely ruined what was meant to be a nice night out… Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness — especially those who might experience the world differently. I’d really hope the management takes this seriously and provides proper training to their bouncers especially on how to treat all customers with understanding and empathy. We definitely won’t be returning until we know that’s changed. Literally pushing my autistic cousin out at the end of the night which nearly made her fall down the stairs of this pub!

04/08/2025: Drove a long way to find them closed, rang before I left and their voice mail stated they where open 7days a week < they are not, they close on bank holiday Mondays!!!

23/09/2025: Great bar with very friendly staff and service superb. The Guinness is the best and very fresh and with vising just for that alone. Prices was much better than dublin worth a visit to relax .

13/10/2025: I got my pierogi here today OMG the name of the place says it : Delicious!!!coffee also amazing -I would say one of the best in town, staff and Kasia very friendly, happy to help you out with choosing the meal. Cakes looked great next try I will give it a go! Highly recommended!

05/11/2025: We love visiting Farmleigh but we will definitely not be stopping by this restaurant again after paying €16 for two coffees and two very average slices of cake.

12/10/2025: I was moving outside my apartment near by and thought ok, let’s order some pasta. I’ve spent 3 years at my old apartment and never bought before, and now I regret it because two nights in a row we ordered pasta and was tasty and well sized portions, reasonable price and very fast delivery. Don’t wait to try the pasta!

08/09/2025: Booked a table for 6 adults 6 children 6pm Sunday night 7/9/25. Ordered starters & mains at 6.20pm. Some starters arrived then at almost 8pm with still 1 starter outstanding some of the main courses arrived but not all - then 15 minutes later the veg arrived!! Extremely poor - made the point to Cashier when settling the bill which was over €406. She apologised but made no effort to reduce the bill by way of apology. We were not even offered a complimentary cup of tea! This restaurant was aware that this large order was coming as it had been pre booked. Very shabby treatment- won’t be back!!!

18/09/2025: Nice lil pop up cafe located on killiney beach just beside the sauna :) perfect and convenient spot for a nice morning cuppa for post sea swims and beach lovers :) small businesses provide much better quality than massive franchises
