The best restaurants

25/02/2026: Just back from the most fantastic weekend after staying in the Woodland Suites for two nights. The staff were amazing and could not have been more attentive and friendly. It is pricey but worth it and we both felt very relaxed after such a short space of time. Would highly recommend.

16/02/2026: Quite possibly the best hotel we have stayed in. The service was exceptional from the start. Amazing rooms, comfy bed, sauna and pool. Every person we spoke to couldn't do more for us. Felt like 5 star service. Great food, drinks and breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough

27/02/2026: This is not the first time I have bought kebabs in this restaurant, I specially come from the city of Navan, as the employees of this restaurant are very kind and helpful people such as Anatol and Elena. I like to visit this restaurant because the food is delicious the restaurant is very clean and the staff themselves are pleasant people. I advise everyone to visit this restaurant.

12/01/2026: Gorgeous cafe! I used to live close by and I loved to go on a weekend morning for a tea and a scone. The baked goods are delicious and the sanwiches to die for! Not a huge range of food options but what is there is so so good. The vibe is lovely and the staff friendly. Highly recommend!

29/12/2025: Lovely food and we were often visitors till today when a new staff member decided to try to put three of us on a table for two in a -completely- empty sitting area. No water was offered. After 5 minutes wait for someone to collect our order we decided to go somewhere else. ——Updated—— 5 star service today and very nice food!

22/03/2026: Got an appointment in 90 mins for here on a weekend !, very helpful and efficient staff and doctor, very resonable.

14/03/2026: It's excellent for relaxing. The breakfast is very good. There's a Lidl nearby, and if you want to go for a walk, you'll find a main avenue about 400 meters away. It's worth staying there.

08/03/2026: Rooms were clean, quite and spacious. The service in the restaurants and choice of food for breakfast was very poor. I would not stay here again.

06/01/2026: From arrival to departure was fantastic, so good seeing young people most of the staff at there best lead by a superb leader who wasn't afraid to help herself truly amazing experience from service,food,atmosphere, dining& friendlyness keep up amazing work...thank you .

09/11/2025: The food was excellent, with truly magnificent quality. The only point that could be improved is the waiting time for the waiter to serve the table — it was a bit too long. Other than that, everything was perfect!

11/11/2025: I stopped in to grab a hot drink on my way to a job interview and it was so lovely. Staff were so lovely, greeted me genuinely, made interesting conversation with me. The inside is homey, a litter bit cluttered (which I love) and entirely community orientated. A lovely hot chocolate too!

05/11/2025: 5 star food. 5 star staff. This restaurant is a hidden gem, stumbled on this restaurant yesterday, so glad I found this place, the service and food was top class. Very busy but service was still very efficient. Restaurant is spotless. If you're in this area, give it a try, you won't be disappointed also priced very reasonable

10/11/2025: Had a lovely and intimate wedding in the Seaview House Hotel. Ronan and Lidia were so helpful during the build up to the wedding and the whole team were absolutely flawless on the day. 10/10 would strongly recommend for a special intimate wedding or just for a weekend get away. The hotel, grounds and food are stunning.

13/08/2025: I had the opportunity to stop in during my late travels at the Seaview House Hotel & Spa, on Oct 16, 2019. I would call it a manor rather than a house, with its beautiful gardens and historically themed interior. Not far from the property, you can take a walk along the shoreline and take in panoramic views unlike any you've seen before. I was fortunate they had availability, as I arrived late that night, but the accommodations were no less than expected. The following morning, I had a chance to dine in the breakfast hall and enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast. I had the company of other guests, one of whom stood out a young woman with her daughter sitting at the table next to mine. Her daughter was like a young duckling, full of life, so to speak. The hotel itself, along with its staff, went far beyond expectations. I would have loved to stay longer, but I needed to attend to my business endeavours. If you're looking for a quiet, family-oriented spa retreat, there's nothing quite like stopping in at the Seaview House Hotel & Spa a true country inn, if you will for anyone in need of relaxation.

21/12/2025: Waited 35 mins on a breakfast . Asked for fried tomatoes and about Twenty half cherry tomatoes came with my egg !! We drank of coffees well before we got our food . Asked for more coffee to go with our breakfast and got charged for it . Staff would need a wake up call . Not talking orders properly listening to other tables . A pity because it’s a nice setting but won’t be coming back here any time soon . 👎.

25/11/2025: A fantastic little find. The cafe is at the top of the main street in Cong. The food, prices and service was second to none. We had the breakfast and it set us up for the day.

09/01/2026: Fantastic. We loved our meal, nice and quiet atmosphere and the waitresses, Roxanne especially, went above and beyond in their jobs. Great place and will be a regular spot for us to eat in the future

09/01/2026: Update............Very disappointed to drive 30 minutes to get here on the 7th of January 2026 for the first time in about a year. Goggle says Open ! . Opening times on door say open 3 to 8. ! But the place closed up not even a note on the door or something to explain or anything. .. Lights on inside. So someone in there . Nice food . Try the potota skins 👍
