23/03/2025: Great pub grub, hi to Linda and her staff.

27/02/2025: Food available is delicious and I visited them one evening about 1 hr after kitchen was closed and I asked could I possibly get even a toasted sandwich and the woman behind the counter went out of her way and made me one absolutely brilliant service and staff. Absolutely worth a visit for the food available 😋

13/04/2025: Terrible customer service, the waiter supervisor offered us a table in bad mood and never came back to us. We waited for 20 minutes to place the order, not even drinks, and nobody showed up. We had to leave the place, I won’t recommend it… waste of time

03/04/2025: Had a lovely lunch here last weekend, great selection of perennials and bedding plants, if a bit expensive and did have to go elsewhere to look at more mature shrubs and trees. Still well worth the visit and perfect unless you are starting from scratch like I am. Definitely deserve a 5 star

31/12/2024: I was fortunate to find this hidden Gem in Leitrim, It was very impressive to be given the option of smaller and larger plates, a great selection. I sampled the Baba Ghanoush and the Venison, much to my liking. The service was second to non as with the presentation. Unfortunately I didn’t stay in the rooms this time, will leave that for next time. The wine choice was super. Look forward to coming back soon.

16/03/2025: I've sent in a review of this pub before, and I'm sending another one now. Excellent service, friendly staff, and the other customers seemed friendly as well. Menu looked good value to me, will definitely try the grub the next time I'm out that way!

28/03/2025: The food was beautiful except for the chips ... They were one of the worst I've had from a fast food place.. The kebabs were absolutely delicious.. The curry was also delicious... It's just a shame about the frozen chips they use

15/03/2025: Nowhere will compete for sitting with a coffee and traybake watching waves crashing on the stunning headlands, after a dip in the Pollock Holes. Fantastic little spot and the food has never disappointed either. I've sat for many an hour in here and brought groups here too over the years. Perhaps my favourite coffee spot on the whole of the Wild Atlantic Way (and I've done all of it). (I remember when this was a pitch and putt course that we used to frequent every week in the summer. I was gutted when it turned into a cafe, but actually my adult-self now thinks it's the best thing ever! Not surprised at all that it's started doing wedding things, as it would be a dream venue to shoot photos on the Diamond Rocks, Amphitheatre etc nearby.)

03/11/2024: Nice place with a great view of kilkee. The blue pools when the tide is out are legendry. With cliff walks and magnificent sea views, the Dimond rocks are great to come back and relax to. Even if it's a tea and scone.

07/11/2024: This is such a lovely restaurant, quite a romantic setting and somehow peaceful even when it's busy. The food was beautifully presented and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had my old dog in the car who I checked on periodically during the meal, a staff member saw me and offered my dog water and kitchen scraps which I thought was very sweet! Gorgeous food and quite a diverse menu.

12/10/2024: We had the most amazing time! We were with a group of twelve and were treated to a spectacular day. Kathleen the proprietor was a delight. She showed many in our group how to pour a proper pint and fixed us the most lovely lunch. She was very kind and accommodating, this was definitely the highlight of our trip.

10/10/2024: Very nice place to start/finish your trip to Whiddy Island. Thanks to Tim and Kathleen we had a beautiful day there. Hope to be back soon!

21/03/2025: Absolutely love the food. Was torn on what to get and Shannon, our waitress recommend the fish n chips and was delicious. Service was quick and Shannon was brilliant. We got coffee with our meal and everything was fantastic.
