04/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic experience at The Cloughan Inn! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome by the friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The food was outstanding – fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The portions were generous and every dish was cooked to perfection. It's clear that great care goes into both the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the meals. The service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff were attentive, polite and always happy to help, making sure everything was just right without being intrusive. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, comfortable and offers excellent value for money. It is easy to see why so many people recommend this place. If you're looking for delicious home-cooked food, generous portions and genuine Irish hospitality, The Cloughan Inn is definitely worth a visit. We will certainly be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mullingar or travelling through Westmeath. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful dining experience!

26/07/2026: Fantastic looking place, with really friendly staff and customers. Wish I could have stayed for more! The story of the cow behind the bar, and Marty’s colourful telling of it, was the highlight.

05/09/2026: Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant in Navan! I travelled all the way from Rathmines with a friend, and honestly, the trip was well worth it. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour, and the service was friendly and welcoming throughout. The atmosphere was lovely, making it a great place to catch up with a friend and enjoy a relaxed meal. Everything from the food to the service was spot on. Definitely worth the trip from Dublin, and I’ll happily make the journey back again. Highly recommended! Thank you Michelle for being such a good host!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

05/06/2026: The food felt like I am having dessert for main course and starter. Extremely sweet food with no flavour than sweet. It was busy I understand but the service was too slow. And they even did not ask for water unless asked to them. It was my second time here. First time was a little better but the second time I did not have a meal I just had sweet dish in form of my meal. Food with sugar that’s all it was.

01/06/2026: Disappointing experience. Had my second visit today. During my first visit I thought it might be because of the rush but today it was totally free during lunch hour. Both the times the attitude of staff serving was so rude as if he was doing us a favor by letting us in and have lunch there Coming to the food, it was okay. But if you visit you can try out their south Indian cuisine.

04/09/2026: The food was really poor. Portions for a children restaurant. Never ever coming back. We were with 7 persons, paying a fortune and still hungry.

12/09/2026: Had a great time at the crisp festival. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Great music from Governess, tons of crisps and the crisp quiz was a genius end to the night. Had great food, burger and vegan platter and great service - shout out to Laura!

06/09/2026: Amazing customer service, we had a large group and the woman who served us couldn’t do enough for us. Food and drinks were great. Perfect spot before a match/night out!

30/08/2026: Portions are massive compared to the other Mexican spots in cork. Definitely worth the money and you won't be hungry after. 🌯 I recommend the birria beef.

08/09/2026: Excellent store of a well-known brand, I suggest buying during the change of season and taking advantage of up to 70% off on clothing which is of excellent quality.
