30/12/2025: Fantastic pizzas, delivered hot. Shame that the chicken was over cooked that the crust was rock hard. The garlic sauce was over powering. Will order the pizzas again.

Update: Order all the time now. Really can't fault the pizza BUT on the odd occasion its completely different pepperoni for some reason that isnt as nice . Normally the nicest pizza I've ever had

The Friary
15/10/2025: We were visiting from Florida to find my ancestral grave site in Roscommon and stopped in at the friary on our way back. The food was great! My wife and family all had the traditional meal and I had the chicken goudons which were good. I wish I would have tried the lamb special but hope to return one day.
13/09/2025: Another lovely dinner in the Friary. Staff are friendly and food is fabulous.

I actually told the staff that It was such a nice place and that they were so quick and efficient. I even got a coffee ☕️ to go and yea, can't wait to go back again. Well done 👏

12/09/2025: I had the chicharrón and it was absolutely delicious! I actually go there every weekend because all the options are really good and the portions are generous. If you’re not sure what to order, just ask the staff – they’re super helpful and happy to guide you. Definitely worth a visit!

07/03/2026: This is easily one of the best ribeye steaks I’ve had — incredibly tender and cooked perfectly.
The portions are generous and everything had great flavour. The broccoli was a real surprise — not bland or over-steamed like you often get, but really tasty and well cooked.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bathrooms were spotless (with proper paper towels, which is always appreciated).
Overall I was really impressed and will definitely return next time I’m in Trim.
07/03/2026: Really amazing food and service. I dont generally eat vegatables, but I even ate the broccoli which was prepared in a unique way and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn't fault anything. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Well worth treating yourself to a meal here.
