The best restaurants

28/12/2025: The food here is just amazing.... Everytime I go to kilkenny this is always my first stop for breakfast. Last time I went I arrived on Tuesday morning the only day that it's closed.... I was very tired and hungry after a late night ferry trip and to find it closed was so disappointing I almost cried. That is how good this cafe is...... Needless to say I went there the very next day and as always I was not disappointed with either the food or the service which as always were first class. If your going to kilkenny you should definitely go to this cafe at least once if not multiple times during your visit. Multiple trips help to decide what to have off the menu because it's all so delicious it's can be extremely hard to decide what to have..... I will make sure my next trip to kilkenny doesn't have me arriving on a Tuesday morning because I don't want to relive the disappointment of seeing the doors of this cafe closed.......

11/06/2026: We stopped here on a whim driving through Limerick and had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! And the bao sandwiches were so delicious, prawn was the favorite. Definitely recommend!!

03/06/2026: Got food here a good few times, portions are great and the food is nice but every time I go in it seems to get more expensive as they get more popular, 50 euro for 2 chips and 2 burgers is just madness

21/05/2026: Girls make a good coffee . Unfortunately the owner need to re look at her staffing in cafe - too many in clothes area where is not as busy as cafe side . Back Coffe area should be for take away people and they directed there .. And front area should be for food and sitting in . The two girls under serious pressure whilst management look on . What happened to rolling sleeves up and tucking in!!!

13/06/2026: Staff were really welcoming and supportive, nothing was a problem. Room and bathroom were spotless and bed really comfortable, we had a great sleep. Will definitely come again.

10/06/2026: Stayed at this hotel last night for the first time. I had a very late check in and was greeted with welcoming smiles at the front desk. I had made an error with my online booking and the 2 members of staff on the desk, a male & female (unfortunately didnt get their names) were so kind and helpful to me & helped to remedy the situation. It was much appreciated. They consulted with the manager on duty who was just as friendly so I couldn't rate the staff highly enough. Rooms were immaculate, beds very comfortable. Also compliments to Cliff in the bar, well suited to his job, chatty & friendly.

31/10/2025: Great food, great service and the staff are extremely courteous and obliging.

03/10/2025: Tried out the Pepper Mill after a local recommendation. Found it clean, friendly staff and food was great. Coffee was nice too. Will be back.

13/05/2026: I used to love this place but my God has the quality gone to absolute bits. Ordered for deliver and when the food arrived, not only was the food cold. But the "chilli cheese" fries has to go straight into the bin the meat was so horrible and clearly out of date. The driver also forgot one of the drinks and when I called the restaurant to ask for it they said they couldn't send a driver for just one drink. I explained it was not one drink it was the rest of my order that I have paid for. I was told id just have to bring it up with just eat. Given its also quite pricey I would recommend ANYWHERE in Navan over this place.

03/11/2025: I loved the quality of the product, however the dough has gotten worse in recent months. The toppings are still good. I gave it 5 stars because of the previous quality. I hope they go back to the original recipe.

28/12/2025: Very friendly staff, good selection of gluten free treats in separate food case. Very tasty food and lovely coffee. Seats inside and out. Will return.

16/10/2025: The scones were absolutely delicious and quite large! We enjoyed on the train to Dublin. They offered a buy 3 get the 4th free deal. Perfect for our group ❤️

31/03/2026: Oh I'm going to really REALLY miss this place when I'll leave Dublin in a few days. Prices are indeed quite high but quality is awesome; I have tested their sandwiches, pastries, individual serves, etc. and never was disappointed. Staff is really nice too. I wish this place existed in my home country!

01/12/2025: Salmon dinner was good, hot, and a large portion. Not sure it was local. Dispointed oysters were not on the menu but overall nice location, good service, and nice atmosphere.

29/11/2025: A massive thank you to Aileen and all the staff who were so accommodating and helpful. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. I would highly recommend to any group that wants to catch up over delicious food and perfect cocktails in a central location.

25/10/2025: We had our wedding in the Woodford Dolmen last weekend, and I am forever grateful!! From the reception staff to the housekeepers, everyone was so friendly. A special mention to the manager, Will, who was on duty the day of our wedding. The food and drinks were of a high standard through our entire stay. All of our guests have been raving about their experiences! Thank you ever so much for helping to make our day so special. We will certainly be back.
