19/05/2026: We stayed in the accommodation and there was 5 of us in one room and it was not comfortable, great place for a stag or hen but you wouldn't want to be claustrophobic, the accommodation was behind the pub and you went over to the pub for food , the breakfast in the morning was very slow . The girls working there were very nice to deal with. It in a good location for the rest of Kilkenny

07/07/2026: Great hotel,fabulous service especially from the management team at the front desk.We needed an early book in as we had to be at a wedding and they couldn't have been more helpful. Great breakfast, comfy beds and easy parking too.

30/05/2026: This hotel boasts wonderful hospitality from its staff. While it's about an hour and a half bus ride from Dublin, it's highly recommended for those who enjoy the slight inconveniences of a small Irish town away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is in an older building, but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff, in particular, were all fantastic. Perhaps because we were a group of five Japanese, every staff member we encountered was attentive, asking if we were enjoying our stay, where we'd gone, and so on. They even informed us in advance that the hotel lacked an elevator, demonstrating their thoughtful consideration. The restaurant food was delicious, and breakfast was excellent. It's located on a busy street, so it can get noisy at night, but a taxi from Dublin costs around €100. This hotel offers a truly authentic Irish hospitality experience.

07/09/2026: Had a christening here recently and from the moment we walked in to get a price til the time we left we where treated so incredibly well, staff was so accommodating and pleasant and done there upmost to make our experience special, couldn't fault the food either we thoroughly enjoyed every bit, we will definitely be back again

04/09/2026: Pleasant meal and waiter. Greeted from the dock entrance and when we entered the dining area. Wish the fries were larger with the fish and chips. Slighly limited menu. Our meals were expertly prepared and presented. Wish we had the space to enjoy one or more of the desserts

11/04/2026: Don’t get the Pulled BBQ Chicken. There’s barely any chicken on it and they know it. I just don’t think a dish should be named after something it’s not. It’s 85% chips, bbq sauce mayo with a touch of chicken. We celebrated my friend’s birthday and I think the staff was wonderful. We did raise the ‘chicken situation’ and were handled by staff with composure. Mains were ok. The desserts are fab. I prob won’t head back here if I’ll have to pay.

22/03/2026: The staff is friendly and quick, making sure you feel taken care of. The food is fresh, tasty, and well-presented, with delicious options. The seating is comfortable and spread out nicely, creating a relaxed vibe. With fast service and great food, it’s a place you’ll definitely want to come back to. Definitely a 5 ⭐️ love this place food was tooooo good I didn’t take pictures with. 🤤

13/09/2026: The lasagna was overcooked and the pasta sheets were too mushy. The apple pie was disappointing for something so simple. Overall, the food was average. The tables were so close together that I almost hit the woman sitting next to me.
