The best restaurants

21/10/2025: Food was great, except for the soft bacon. Eggs were delicious, especially the veggie eggs. Coffee was very good. Service was quick.

17/10/2025: Great quality service and food is delectable and fresh, but way overpriced which is disappointing. I ordered the pancakes (which are a small stack) with Nutella and strawberries as well as a cappuccino coffee, altogether it came to €16.90…Rediculous rip off !

26/09/2025: Today I was in SuperValu in Thomastown getting cigarettes for my husband and myself when I reached the till and I was struggling to get the right word out the operator was visibly annoyed with me, I found this to be very disarming, secondly I handed over €51.10 for cigarettes when the change was thrown back at me and I was told she didn’t want it, I found this very disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour, if the same person is there again the next time I go to the store I will not go near them as I do not appreciate the attitude of them it’s absolutely unnecessary

12/08/2025: Really just a glorified corner shop. Basic enough and not somewhere I’d consider doing a weekly shop. Free parking is plentiful.

15/12/2025: Happened to stop in on the way home and was very impressed. Great food at very reasonable prices, and the staff were very friendly.

05/12/2025: Best pizza in Balbriggan area by a country mile. It’s the only place that uses fresh ingredients, and the customer service and delivery is second to none.

02/07/2025: Lovely old style family run bar. Great variety of beers and spirits on offer at very reasonable prices. If you like a good sing song Robinson's is the go to spot.

29/06/2025: O'Neills Bar Tramore Located on Summerhill at the top of Tramore. There is plenty of parking available on the street, and in the nearby car park on Priests Road. The premises are located over 2 buildings, the left hand side being O'Neil's Bar, and the right hand side being Mol's Restaurant. There is a step up to access Mol's, but wheelchairs etc can easily access the restaurant going through the pub, which is all on one level. Although in the O’Neil Family for many years, both O’Neil’s Bar, and Mol’s Restaurant have undergone major refurbishment and modernisation, done to a very good standard. Mol's also provides several areas available to hire for private functions, and boasts a spectacular outside area. The Staff in O’Neil’s and Mol's are very attentive, and well trained to a high standard, if you are just in for a quick light bite, or a lunch/evening meal, you are served in a brisk, friendly, efficient manner. The food here is absolutely lovely, and the Sunday Carvery offers great value for money, although due to its popularity, some carvery items often sell out as the day goes on, so be sure to get in at a good time. A good place to visit in Tramore where you can enjoy a drink before or after your meal in O'Neil's Bar, the food is consistently good, and they can cater for large or small groups. Why not visit their sister Bar, The Old Forge located a short stroll down the hill from O'Neil's

20/02/2026: WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD IN A 'RESTAURANT' !!!!!Terrible dried out overcooked pizza and lasagne was similar! Small portions too !White wine was acid! Overall poor. 50e for two, definitely not!!!!!Avoid, never going back! 0 out of 5!

11/03/2026: Hands down the worst pizza I have ever had. It was just slapped together and served to us. 3 ppl ordered the pepperoni extravaganza land 2/3 got pepperoni on their pizza like you would expect. I had 110 total pepperoni on a 12 inch pizza. It’s sad. I paid more than they did and got less of a “pizza” than they did. I took pictures to show the difference between them and me. It sucks because it wasn’t even good so we just left it as is and got out of there as soon as we could. Don’t go here if you want quality pizza. This place isn’t for you

19/02/2026: For a cheap meal this place was fine. I would go here again as the pizza was cooked perfectly with minimal burning. Most places that use this method burning the pizza but the chef here takes care. Thanks for the meal 😋

22/03/2026: Had a 1 night stay in Rafters for a hen party, there were 23 of us and I can't think of one negative thing to say. Gerry was an absolute lifesaver he gave us a great deal, we had a private room for an activity on arrival, dinner, bed and breakfast. Everything was absolutely perfect. Any questions I had when planning the night away Gerry was only an email/phone call away and responded so fast. We were a large group and our dinners all came out at the one time the service was amazing. Dinner and breakfast was so delicious. I can't wait to return in the future!

18/03/2026: Lovely, sleeping above the pub. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is exactly what you can expect from the description. It is clean, has good beds, and a nice shower. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is very good and the atmosphere is super cozy. The location is perfect, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from just about all the sights.

06/09/2025: My first visit. It was buzzing. Well laid out. Good menu . Excellent service. We will be back . A great spot for breakfast,brunch or lunch. We will be back.

18/09/2025: Have a Good day everyone! Looking for a place to eat deliciously and have a great time? Everything here is simple, yet interesting, and most importantly, heartwarming! The cooks, waiters, and staff do a very difficult and routine job so that even the smallest bread crumbs taste incredible. Thank you for your hard work, which earns us respect and a desire to return again! You can bring your pets here, and you don't have to worry about anything else. Yes, you can use Aldi's parking, but that's not a minus, but rather a plus! Overall, it's a very good place. I recommend it!
