The best restaurants

07/09/2026: I enjoyed a Monday evening Trad session and delicious Irish stew a couple of weeks ago while visiting from the US. It was fantastic evening! The food was delicious, service was perfect and everyone was so friendly! The music and singing was just beautiful and I hope to visit again one day!

25/09/2026: Best meal I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the food, the wine and the service was 5 stars. The staff are friendly and fun and it doesn’t feel like you’re in a pretentious Michelin restaurant (like others I’ve experienced) - they get the vibe perfect. The experience is worth every penny. Hats off to Damien and all the crew. Can’t wait to come back!

16/08/2026: We had a party of 20. Service was great and the food was very nice. Menu is pizza and Tex Mex plus lots of nice desserts.

13/08/2026: We had a very good experience at this restaurant. Despite arriving late (8:40 pm) when the kitchen closed at 9 pm, we were warmly welcomed and the pizzas were excellent.

02/09/2026: We arrived around 7:45 pm on a Wednesday evening. The welcome was very warm… We hadn't booked, but it was outside of school holidays, so no problem… Even though we don't speak English very well, the young woman made the effort to explain things to us in simple terms… T-bone steak/scallops with smoked bacon/mussels… Everything was delicious… We had a very pleasant time

29/08/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Mannions! We came for their specialty, the stew, and also enjoyed other seafood dishes on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were very warmly welcomed. Highly recommended!

06/08/2026: Encouraged by Google reviews while strolling through Cork, we stopped in for lunch, and we didn't regret it! The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and the portions were large, so you could easily fill up on one dish. The shrimp were perfectly prepared, the pasta was also very good, and the fries were crispy!!! Best regards to the entire restaurant team, fellow Poles! 🙋🏼‍♂️🇵🇱

19/08/2026: The course, clubhouse, and dining room were fantastic. The single solitary reason I'm leaving a 2 star review is because of the caddy that my playing partner had for our round. It was a younger guy named Alec who was the most impersonal and unhelpful caddy we've had in all our rounds while in Ireland. Caddies at all other courses have been absolutely wonderful and cannot say enough positive things about them. At one point I simply asked Alec which way the fairway goes dead into his face and he did not answer. I then said, "are you not going to tell me" to which he then turned his head away. All in our groups tip the caddies anywhere from 20-50euro whether reserved by each player or just a single. Alex turned what should have been an amazing experience into one of disbelief and anger as he is the representative of the club. Bottom line, definitely play the course but ask for alternate caddie if given Alec.

19/07/2026: Service was incredibly slow. So bad we had to get our food to go, as we had to go to work . They do have a sign up saying there maybe a 25 minute wait on food at busy times. Think we were waiting 40mins for 2 full Irish breakfasts. Figure out your kitchen operations. Staff were pleasant. Food was tasty enough. Best hash browns I've ever had 👌🏻 If you are there for a leisurely brunch , then it would be enjoyable. Just dont be in a hurry

19/08/2026: We’ve only been there once so far, and we had a mushroom soup and it was very good. The place is really nice and clean, and the outdoor seating is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. We’ll definitely stop there again next time!
