24/10/2025: The tobacco onions used to be my favorite. However, the last two delivery orders, they were so salty I ended up throwing half in the bin. Eat a handful of salt...it's the same taste. I won't be getting them again.

10/09/2025: Great Guinness,friendly staff.Was my grandads local so went in to raise a Guinness or two for his anniversary.

08/09/2025: The barman is as thick as two planks. I asked could I charge my phone and he sent me around the shop to buy a plug. I did that and he plugged it in. I then went outside and crossed the road because my crippled friend was in the park and he followed me with the phone and the charger to give it back, instead of just leaving it to charge. Couldn't just say "No, we don't charge phones". Couldn't just leave it for a minute after plugging it in. It was very clear I just needed to charge the phone. I bought a pint of Guinness to keep them happy. Just either unintelligent or ignorant. Probably a mixture of both. Just say no and I would have asked in the South Strand next door. Smarter barmen in there.

13/10/2025: Excellent service and Murphys. Came to watch the Wales game, which they initially didn't have on. But the legend behind the bar took the time to edit the settings in order to stream BBC Wales for me. Good friendly atmosphere, highly recommended 👌

16/10/2025: We enjoyed a wonderful meal courtesy of First Table. The black cod I ordered was beautiful and the lamb shank was rich and exactly what autumn deserves. We will be back x I only gave 4*s for atmosphere because we turned up so early. It would be 5 at a busier time.

12/10/2025: I had an excellent experience thanks to our waitress, Laura. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. Our drinks were always refilled on time, and she checked in often without ever being intrusive. Laura had great menu knowledge and offered helpful recommendations that turned out perfect. Her warm attitude and professionalism really elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend asking for Laura if you visit she’s fantastic!

20/10/2025: Wonderful staff who say “darling” every time I come, always smiling, delicious coffee, and a lovely atmosphere. My boyfriend and I love having coffee here on the second floor by the window.

26/10/2025: Potato & Leek soup oh my goodness!!!! Gorgeous is an understatement was the bet I’ve ever tasted! I travelled from England to watch my sisters run the Dublin marathon and I’m so so glad we stopped here after, service amazing, soup was sooooooo good I will be back! Highly recommended don’t miss out guys!

24/10/2025: A hidden gem in the back of an asian supermarket. Food was super good and staff very friendly. Be aware that there's not a lot of space to sit down.

14/10/2025: This hotel sets a high standard for the InterContinental brand across all areas, from the moment the bellhop opens the taxi door to the reception team, housekeeping, engineering, the meticulous breakfast service (including the quality of the food), the bar, and the gym. And oohh... (not to forget): the concierge service run by a highly qualified professional lady. (Such exceptional concierge service is rare these days, primarily when many rely on AI tools as their "personal concierge") The attention to detail and hospitality at this establishment is unmatched (It could be the Northern Star of the InterContinental brand). While the building is old, and shows some signs of wear and fatigue, this does not detract from the high standards of hospitality. Rarely, I would consider a hotel rated "6th star" for service, and a "7th star" for housekeeping. This one does. Located approximately a 10-minute drive from downtown Dublin and 40 minutes from Dublin Airport, in a quiet neighborhood, this hotel is the ideal place to stay in Dublin.

30/09/2025: Had a fantastic visit to Kings Bay Inn. The pints of Guinness were exceptional – creamy, smooth, and perfectly poured, easily among the best I’ve enjoyed anywhere. The food was very good, with hearty portions and fresh flavours that complemented the drinks nicely. It’s a bustling little spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It can get busy, so you might have to wait a short while for a table or your order, but the quality makes it well worth the wait. A great choice for anyone looking for top-notch Guinness and a good meal in a lively setting.
