The best restaurants

15/11/2025: I stayed here for 2 nights while doing a course at the nearby sauna Bosca Beatha. Very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and the food is also amazing. I had the steak, venison, lamb and chicken wings. Everything was superb but the lamb & chicken wings would be my 2 favourites. Breakfast was lovely as well and it was a very reasonable price per night too. Thanks

11/11/2025: Stopped here for lunch after a drive through the Wicklow Mountains. The stove was burning whichfelt welcoming. Good selection for lunch and everything we had was well prepared and presented

13/12/2025: Fantastic venue for events big and small. Had our wedding day two here upstairs and it was fantastic. There's a bar, toilets and a heated outside area upstairs and a massive place downstairs for gigs, food and drink. Plenty of places to sit. Very cosy in the winter and on the warmer days the Beer garden out back is fab. It also has unreal views over tramore. Very chill place and they do cocktails and spritzs as well.

02/03/2026: Did not disappoint. Fixed my burger craving. Meat was cooked to request and was juicy with the thick cut bacon . Nice vibe of the place too

24/02/2026: Every time we have been to Bunsen in Ranelagh it never disappoints. The service is always outstanding, with their staff being so friendly and nice. The burgers are absolutely delicious, no matter how you want them served. Fries are really tasty as well, my preference is shoestring and the portion is always generous. I always recommend trying their milkshakes as they are very rich in flavour specially the chocolate one. We will definitely be back, as it is one of the best branches.

26/12/2025: Every time I have eat in Sullivans the food is absolutely wonderful and I mean that 100%,the staff are top class and look after their customers, it is one of the top class hotels in Ireland because they do the one objective perfect the customer is looked after and customer service is great cheers Declan O Shaughnessy Tubber County Galway

16/10/2025: Hello, It's a shame that for our last stop we were disappointed by our stay at your hotel. On your advice, we had booked through your website (confirmed by email from you) that breakfast was included. "Tom," I believe, refused us breakfast for the next morning. We had until 9 p.m. for dinner, and we arrived before 9 p.m. You told us the kitchens were closed so we could enjoy your famous pizzas. Finally, the room was very noisy, the window did not at all insulate from the noise of the road next to a very busy road! A shame about our last evening, a bad experience. Night of October 14-15, 2025 I'm not used to reviews, but our travel planner advised us to let you know about our disappointing visit. 23/01/2026: Limerick's historic center. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. That's why I hadn't been here for about four years. We returned and weren't disappointed. The atmosphere and crowd were very pleasant. The staff were friendly. We found a spot by the fireplace. It's doubly enjoyable in winter. I really enjoyed the seafood pie. Ireland can be very diverse, but this is truly a good, solid Ireland. We're sure we'll visit again. Special thanks to the bartender who served us. He's not only friendly, but also has a great sense of humor. Excellent.

18/01/2026: Lovely little pub, typical in the area. Excellent sea food chowder pie. Perhaps, my favorite thing i had in the town.

08/01/2026: I went to the highlands hotel quite a few times now for my work travelling. Staff are really friendly and nice. Room is decent and comfortable. As a French guy maybe I have really high standards for food but drinks and starters and mains are really good (thaï curry is average, should remove it from menu). Desserts are mid for my opinion it’s a shame but overall very nice hotel and experience.

06/01/2026: I visited Lenehans Public House over the Christmas period. It’s conveniently located near McDonagh Junction. Service was prompt, staff were friendly, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The only drawback was seating for our party of four, as we didn’t have a reservation and the venue was very busy, so we only stayed for one drink before moving on. That said, it’s understandable given the time of year.

31/12/2025: Such a lovely welcoming pub and has great food. We went with 2 kids and everyone loved what they got. Great portions and great value for money. Don't hesitate to call in here. We will definitely be back 😁
