26/08/2026: Dog friendly, staff are lovely and the toasties are delicious!!

13/08/2026: Great for coffee lovers I believe but spare a thought for us Tea drinkers! Ordered a tea with my fancy porridge. I got a cup with a standard T bag in it. No Tea pot just a cup and no nice Tea leaves just your standard Tea Bag. Its a shame beacuse a cup of tea costs in and around the same as a cup of freshly ground coffee.

29/08/2026: This food is absolutely exceptional. Over the years myself and hubs have become somewhat snobby about our pizza, ditching processed and chemical tasting ingredients in favour of authentic fresh ingredients. Yes - you will pay the price. But it's absolutely worth it. Fresh dough base, fresh home made sauce, fresh basil melting into the cheese, authentic REAL chips and real chicken used in the goujons. The chef here knows his craft. Thanks again for the great service.

24/08/2026: We waited 45 mins for our meals to be served even though the restaurant was very quite. Kids pasta dishes were full of water, the chicken gougons were southern fried (not specified on the menu). A very small menu, not available to see online prior to attending. Alot of the young staff, no experience, they didn't care when we gave our feedback while paying. We would not return.

30/07/2026: We were two couples and one 18 year old celebrating his birthday the other night Sat, 25/07. We all visit the restaurant occasionally so know to expect good quality food and service. This was no different, good food and service as always. What really stood out was the waiter upstairs (where we were seated) I really should have asked his name but never got around to it. His sense of humour and attention to us were brilliant. He made just enough fuss over the birthday boy and even brought a complimentary chocolate brownie with a candle in it over to him after the meal. We really enjoyed our evening there.

16/08/2026: The place is really cozy and has a lovely atmosphere. However, the flat white I ordered was more like a cappuccino, which was a bit disappointing. It’s also a shame that you have to pay extra for plant-based milk.

09/09/2026: Food was forgettable, the experience was a war crime. The manager tried to overcharge us because we were the only idiots who decided to dine here on a Wednesday night. Don’t come here.

30/08/2026: Totally at ease staff could have not been more kind and helpful. I was in Kilkenny for the day well Worth a visit to eat prices very reasonable . Supervisor was more than helpful. Thanks to all the staff. I would ignore negative reviews these people could not be more helpful. Service excellence.

12/06/2026: We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The staff is amazingly helpful. The ONLY reason we didn't stay longer was because they were fully booked. Food was some of best we had in Ireland. We will definitely stay here when we return to Kells.

10/06/2026: Had afternoon tea here for a friend's birthday. Staff brought out a desert with candles and sang happy birthday and also offered to take photos which was greatly appreciated Food was lovely and service was great, only negative was they did not offer fresh tea and coffee during our visit. The only parking available on the day was council parking which is not connected to the hotel and the exit out of car park to the front of the hotel had no footpath.

04/09/2026: Sun came out - we sat in their back yard and had the best lunch of our trip. Food was fresh, atmosphere was on point, and service was ultra friendly and fun with our small family.

21/09/2026: Food was good. One member of staff wasn't great at all. They sat us at the emergency exit and we were told that we could close the door if we were cold. It was very windy and that member of staff kept opening the door saying it was too hot. It wasn't hot at all as the wind was cold and it wasn't ideal as we had a baby in our group. When we got the bill he counted the money in front of us, like he didn't trust us and it seemed very rude. I wouldn't come back.

10/06/2026: The young staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Felt very safe as a solo-traveler. Food was fantastic! Restaurant was lovely and the view from the breakfast room into the garden was a beautiful way to start the day.

29/05/2026: Lovely service with amazing breakfast. Right beside Glenbeigh village with access to walks and Rossbeigh beach close by. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Rooms were comfortable and clean

13/09/2026: Really good food and portion sizes if you're hungry coming down from a hike in the National Park, like us. We had the vegetarian curry and the chicken with the mushroom sauce and it was delicious. Definitely recommend the flavoured cheesecake! Also greatly enjoyed the playlist that was playing!
