21/09/2025: I was very happy to discover this book shop and café. We had great coffee and tasty scones upstairs.

29/07/2025: A fantastic shop with a great selection. Big shout out to Aoife who was fantastic helping me to choose a perfect gift for a difficult person to buy for!

12/11/2025: Delicious smoothie served by Lucia. Lucia was very friendly and provided excelent service. Very knowledgeable about the products she sells.

14/06/2026: Excellent value for money, high-quality food, extremely tasty. For the first time in three years in Europe and many Brazilian restaurants visited, I ate food that had flavor, took me back to Brazil, and felt like I was eating in a real Brazilian restaurant.

06/06/2026: The food is still great, but the portions have reduced in size massively in the last few months, hence the low rating. If your operational costs are higher - raise the prices a bit, but don't leave people that have come to expect something hungry.

21/04/2026: Lovely staff here, truly. My service dog was very welcome, they had to check in the restaurant but it was no problem at all in the end. The staff was super sweet to her as well. Our room was comfortable and clean. For breakfast there's a menu to choose from. I had full irish on the first morning which was very tasty. On the second morning I had pancakes which were fluffy and not too sweet. Coffee and tea in the room which was great as well. Thanks for the lovely stay.

23/03/2026: Had sons confirmation there and we were made to feel unwelcome as staff just rushed everything out to us ..won't be going there again as some staff rolled eyes when asked for anything, family unfriendly atmosphere

10/06/2026: The young staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Felt very safe as a solo-traveler. Food was fantastic! Restaurant was lovely and the view from the breakfast room into the garden was a beautiful way to start the day.

29/05/2026: Lovely service with amazing breakfast. Right beside Glenbeigh village with access to walks and Rossbeigh beach close by. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Rooms were comfortable and clean

10/05/2026: Quite short and fairways are fairly wide but those greens are such a challenge and they are immaculate too. The whole course was immaculate. Very hard to lose a ball as there are no hedges or excess growth under the trees. Good drives bounce and roll out 30 or 40 yards. We played Saturday evening for 38 euro each. Has to be the best value round you will play anywhere in the country. Absolute gem. Already looking forward to coming back. There was a mixup with the booking but the staff sorted it out no hassle.

02/05/2026: Beautiful course with cherry blossoms and a beach next to it. We loved seeing the local bunnies on the greens! Huge thanks to Ray in the pro shop for his impressive customer service. He went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter’s practice—it made the 50 km drive completely worth it.

25/05/2026: Quirky and one of a kind, but also relaxing, inviting, and friendly describes this place well. We watched some locals play snookers, and quickly got wrapped up in the friendly games. It felt like a bit of an oasis in the usual loud bustle of pubs. With my food rating I'm talking about drinks, and pub snacks, I don't think that any actual food is served here.

15/05/2026: Best bar in the city trust me, I would know. I've been to exactly four bars in the five hours I've been here and it was swell.

07/12/2025: Small gardens and you need to pay fee even to enter coffee shop (not gardens). And queue, of course. Everything is very slow like it is supposed to be in this kind of gardens.

08/11/2025: Well worth a visit! A really magical garden walk with lots of hidden gems!

12/06/2026: On Valentine's Day we received excellent service and the Poke bowl was wonderful, with super fresh and flavorful sushi. I recommend everyone try it.

11/06/2026: What a spectacular moment I had today with my husband! The food was incredible, but Lucas's service made a huge difference. We live in such a rush here, and often all we want is to eat good food and relax in a pleasant environment! And my experience today was incredible! Lucassssssss, you deserve all the praise, the service was amazing!

22/12/2025: We are big fans of Garys in Dalkey - so happy to report the same delicious pizzas, super staff (as always Gary Balage Sonny ) and a fun night all round. Yummy GF pizza as well the same as Dalkey which is why we go there best GF pizza there is ! Ruth Dave and of course Joe

12/12/2025: This could be a lovely local spot however unfortunately its atmosphere seems to be ruined by the staff. Our first visit, we were treated rudely by the manager throughout the night which we tried to dismiss. More recently, not only were we berated again, she was also vocally treating her workers awfully in front of the whole restraunt. Both were disturbing experiences - do not recommend

17/05/2026: A great meal to celebrate communion, lots of them happening on the same day and whilst that might affect the standard at some places, this was not the case the food and service were excellent! Would definitely for again and would recommend to others.
