02/06/2026: Ash was awesome here. Food and coffee drinks were stellar. When back in Cork, we will definitely come here again.

19/10/2025: I go out of my way almost every week to get the Lebanese Falafel Wrap from this place. (It's closed on Mondays). The lentil soup is also perfection. The baklava is great to take home and serve as a dessert. One piece is enough per person I think; they are small but packed with just the right amount of sweetness and bite. Service is very friendly, it feels like a micro-holiday every time I go in there.

22/04/2026: We went for dinner on Monday I booked in on Sat for 20 of us and they were more than accommodating , the staff were absolutely outstanding and welcoming 😊 the food was absolutely fabulous 🤩 they couldn't have done more for us. I highly recommend them 5stars all the way 🤩 thank so much we had a brilliant day ❤️

01/06/2026: Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!

12/05/2026: Nice furnishings, good lay out. Nice beer garden. Great menu, loads to choose from. Food okay, pepper sauce was awful, chips not great, quite expensive for what I got. Service good.

14/06/2026: Was here in a group yesterday. Absolutely amazing service from a server called Zara! I would definitely recommend the Patriots Inn.

02/06/2026: Had a family dinner here and food was delicious and staff where very attentive. Best turkey and ham we have had in a long time. Would of been 5 star only we didn't get to sample the cheesecake as they have ran out! Will be back.

30/05/2026: I only arrived today for a four day stay and I want to come back already. The welcome you get is heartwarming, the rooms are beautiful and spotless and the food in the restaurant is to die for. Congratulations to all the management and staff for simply doing things right ✅️

22/10/2025: We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly. We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice. It will be a while before we might give this place another go. The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review.

11/06/2026: Didn’t eat here but stopped in for a couple pints of Guinness. The staff was very friendly and put going. When they noticed the pints almost finished at the table they came out and asked if we wanted another.

09/06/2026: Food great Beer great, plenty of room if you want to have a chat staff very friendly. There.is a room upstairs for a larger gathering, however it is not wheelchair friendly.

03/10/2025: Meant to take a photo of the beautiful salad, sandwich, coffee and sweet treat I bought, but it was too good and I ate it too quick. Amazing spot!

02/10/2025: the salads are tasty, but they are eye-wateringly expensive - €9 for a tiny bowl. Go to tang just around the corner for better value.

17/05/2026: Went on a Sunday to do the mill tour. Web site stated it was open but when we got there they didn't do walk ins for the mill tour and we had to book however, they do not have tour guides working on a Sunday. Had a look at the shop but very pricey and not everything was made at the mill or even Ireland some things were made in Italy and even China.

17/05/2026: Was recommended the tour on our first night in Ireland. Did not anticipate wanting to go on a Mill tour on a long weekend away but so glad we went! Alan gave the tour and he was very knowledgeable and insightful and a really great host. So much history and a truly fascinating story. Got to see the old looms in action and in the shop there were some amazing pieces all produced there. Nice cafe there too and lovely Red Kite walk just up the road. Highly recommend
