The best restaurants

12/09/2026: Quick stop for lunch and this was a great choice. Great food, cool atmosphere and fantastic communication. Service was fast and efficient!

06/09/2026: I have breakfast here 3/4 times a month when visiting family, some days the breakfast is really good and others not so good. Yesterday (Saturday) I had a really good breakfast I think the waitress said the chef was Carrie (apologies if I am wrong) but today (Sunday) it was just ok and nowhere as good as the day prior. This place needs to work on consistency, shouldn't really be able to tell if different chefs are working as all food should be leaving the kitchen the same. Had a peak at todays menu, the allergens numbers put down but no allergen key given, alot of allergens missing off of dishes and a couple of spelling mistakes, also and no allergens done for desserts. Overall the front of house team are lovely, its really well priced, and the food is really good when you go in and the right chef is working.

25/08/2026: Not a good experience by any means, the guy wearing glasses who looked to be in charge was very rude and very obviously in bad form. The floor staff were organising an area for a graduation and told us to sit wherever we wanted to so we did, not noticing the ‘reserved’ sign on the table - the manager came over and made a big deal about removing the sign, we offered to move. He was so rude and we would have walked out if there as anywhere else to go. The other staff were lovely even though I heard the same being horrible to the young girls on duty. You need to up your game this is not acceptable behaviour

10/08/2026: Stopped off for breakfast and was happy I did. There was a short queue as I drove by waiting to be seated and again after I entered which is always a good sign, I was seated quickly, service was prompt and was not waiting long for the food. Full Irish was very nice and well priced and the atmosphere in the place was good as well.

29/07/2026: We visited Up Eats for the first time today but it certainly won't be the last time. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and the staff were friendly. A particular shout out to Mags who went above and beyond to provide a great service I would highly recommend this cafe.

02/09/2026: A nice place with great food and amazing staff. I visited this place twice and was a great experience. First time it was couple of months back when my friends and I wanted to eat proper Indian breakfast but we were late as it was past breakfast time but we requested the owner cum head chef and he happily accommodated us… we ate Dosas, Idlis, Aloo k paranthe, Chhole bhature complementary Dhoklas & all of them were yum. My second visit was just a week ago and I must say this place didn’t disappoint me, again we ordered a lot of things like Murgh ki chaap, Chicken lollypop, Chilly chicken, Bombay chat, Tandoori malai broccoli in starters and in main course Chicken saag, Farmer butter chicken, Dal makhni and specially requested chef made Chicken Dum Biryani… just yum all of them was just yum. I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone who likes good food with great taste. Thank you chef and the team!😊

30/08/2026: Had a wonderful Gujarati thali at Spice Village and left completely satisfied! The sandwich dhokla was the star — soft, layered, and packed with flavour, while the classic dhokla was light, spongy, and perfectly steamed. The aamras was rich, creamy, and refreshingly sweet, easily one of the best I've had. And the jalebi? Crisp, syrupy, and warm — the perfect way to end the meal. Authentic flavours, generous portions, and great value. Highly recommend for anyone craving proper Gujarati food. Will definitely be back!

09/09/2026: This amazing restaurant was recommended by our BNB host and we were so glad we took her advice! M. Flannery’s in Ballinrobe was my favorite so far in Ireland! The food was fantastic. Best calamari, best fish and chips and the most AMAZING curry and stir fry! Don’t even get me started on the made in house desserts! Out of this world! And then the best service! Kallum was fantastic! I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed! Great atmosphere too!

14/09/2026: The focaccia bread and potatoes were good. However, all three of the entrees we ordered missed the mark. There was too much salt in a dish, not enough seasoning in another, and the cacio e pepe was nearly inedible with the overpowering amount of black pepper (not at all creamy/cheesy). Maybe it was an off day, but would not recommend.

08/09/2026: On a whim, we booked a table online just a few hours in advance. The service was excellent and the food phenomenal. If you're looking for truly great Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting, this is the place to go.

26/08/2026: We called in here for a drink and food. Guinness was lovely and the curry very nice indeed. The place was very quiet but people coming and going for food and drinks. Very nice dinning experience and would certainly go back.

01/09/2026: This has to be the freaking BEST pizza Ive ever had! And Ive had pizza in about 12 countries! The chorizo vodka sauce slice dipped in the garlic pesto is heaven on a paper plate!! 😍😋

30/07/2026: Unexpected last minute spot after doing the Ring of Beara. We messaged them on WhatsApp at 20:45 and they instantly responded with a menu. Absolutely 10/10 food and Amazing service. Highly recommend the fish, steak, calamari, burgers. Staff so friendly and beautiful views. When we come back to Ireland we will definitely be back.

09/09/2026: Pizza was tasty and cooked perfectly. Authentic Italian Pizza, no bling but boy do those pizzas sing!. Better than Papa Johns. Highly recommended.

03/08/2026: Amazing woodfired pizza at cosy, authentic eaterie. From outside it looks like a takeaway but a small number of tables to eat in. They were under huge pressure with massive list of orders but instead of four pizzas we ordered which would have taken an hour suggested one large family pizza he could slip in the oven quickly for our boys who needed to get back to their Gaeltacht coláiste. We greatly appreciated flexibility, friendliness and helpfulness - not to mention the absolutely delicious pizza which filled a substantial hungry gap 😋
