10/08/2025: Excellent place to stop for lunch. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food. The service and the welcome we received was 2nd to none. Overall, the standards and professionalism of this café is a shining light for others in the industry to aspire to We shall definitely be making a return visit.

16/03/2026: Food was good. Fish was very greasy tho. Had to wait a long time to order as it was very understaffed (with impatient children with me) and after the food i was sick for 2 days. Was in the toilet for most of my day. They also had a problem with my reservation, said at first i dont have one and after a bit eventually got a table.

15/03/2026: Amazing restaurant. Can very well beat many Kansas City style BBQ places in the states. The food was top notch and you get a free ice cream cone at the end of dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A must stop. They're doing it right.

24/10/2025: A must visit when your in Ballina. After a long drive from south Kilkenny we said we will pop in here for a quick pint before checking in to the hotel. They Guinness and Murhys was so go we ended up here for 3hrs . Great Atmosphere great staff and friendly locals. 100% will be back here again.

19/10/2025: Thanks to everyone at Quay West for a fab evening when 9 of us celebrated our brother's BD. Welcome was warm & friendly. Food was v v good across all different chosen dishes between starters/main courses along with BD plate and sparkly BD candle. Service was excellent from all waiting staff who made our evening very special. We were all very well looked after throughout our meal. Much appreciated. Already looking to our next visit. Thanks again!

28/02/2026: I went here for a funeral service and it was shocking, food was served relatively fast but the beef was quite hard to chew. The staff must’ve got our drinks order wrong 4/5 times throughout and we would have to remind them every time that we were still waiting on our drinks. The staff seem lovely but clearly there’s a management issue.

10/02/2026: Staff very welcoming, nice premises very clean downhill from there only thing that was nice was the dash of orange, ordered roast of the day (beef) Dry and overcooked impossible to cut, veg big tasteless lumps and small spoon of mash accompanied along with dry tasteless cabbage and a charge of €21.80 Definitely won’t be stopping here again

20/03/2026: Nice pub to drop into for a pint, the service was excellent they made room for our large group to sit. Unfortunately you could smell the bathroom when you walked upstairs and it was hot inside, but I think that's just charm that comes with an old building. Would recommend.

28/10/2025: Well we often get fish there and it’s very fresh and the staff are very knowledgeable. Excellent bread and other deli items too. Also they have a little coffee corner and their coffee is delightful, you could try their Almond croissants – they are divine. They have a couple of tiny tables outdoors so you can enjoy sitting out there on a sunny day !

13/01/2026: This guy does some seriously devine burgers and his battered fish is orgasmic, does some beautiful fry ups and other tasty dishes too, highly recommend going for a feed, his burgers and his battered fish are seriously worth a trip. The owner is mighty craic too and its a cool old chillout spot inside for a coffee too. 👌👍

20/11/2025: Great facility, plenty of parking just outside the door. The lane was clean and in good condition, staff were friendly and prompt. Our visit included a child's birthday party which ran smoothly and was enjoying by all. The area was safe for children and easy to supervise on that particular day. Well worth a visit at least once per year!

20/08/2025: We needed four meals to takeaway, two of which had to be vegan and one vegetarian. There was no issue ordering vegan versions. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The sauces were delicious, the vegetables beautifully al dente, the meat tender and flavoursome, and spicy was just the right amount of spicy. The rice was not sticky, not too dry. The re-usable containers are great and will be used again, and again. The price was very reasonable (ca €50 for 4 mains). The ordering process was uncomplicated, the waiting time was just right, the staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again the next time we visit Ballina.

13/08/2025: This Nepalese restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever been to. I ordered dish number 32 — I don’t remember exactly what it was, but it was perfectly spicy and very tasty. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. I recommend it!

14/12/2025: The relaxed atmosphere of the bar. The friendly Latvian guy who worked as a bartender made my experience one of the best of my trip to Dublin.

17/11/2025: Vadims is the kindest barman we’ve ever met. His dedication to hospitality is unmatched. We came to this pub because of the reviews for how great he was and they absolutely did not disappoint. We were only in Dublin for 3 days but we managed to visit this pub 2/3 days due to his kindness. We wish him and his wife the absolute best in life as they are so deserving ❤️
