09/09/2026: I really like Elliot’s. Decided to check their place after the renovation and I was a little bit disappointed with the service. I don’t blame the staff since isn’t fair to them being only 2 people to attend a massive line of customers. The owners should be more attentive to these details. Apart from that, pastries and coffee amazing as usual.

23/09/2026: I ordered a burger. Normally I'm used to being asked how I want it cooked. When it came out the fries were hotter than the burger which was disappointing. Staff if nice, but for $20 roughly for a burger and fries I would expect the food to be hot and not over cooked. Overall the place is alright, but what you get for the cost left me feeling a bit underwhelmed and I travel a lot, so a burger is often my go to for quick and easy when I'm trying to find something simple.

13/08/2026: Really nice dog friendly pub. The history is impressive and so was the food. We only tried the seafood linguini and they were delicious!

12/08/2026: Came in for a lite bite after a walk in the park. Super lovely place, food is great and service was excellent. Would recommend. Marta was excellent

30/08/2026: A nice Italian restaurant with good pasta and very friendly service. You can choose to sit either indoors or outside.

30/08/2026: Food was lovely and a good selection. Unfortunately the service wasn't great. Yes, we were sitting outside but the restaurant wasn't very busy. Nearly 30mins for empty plates to be taken. We had to go in and order our desserts as we weren't sure how long we would be left waiting

21/08/2026: The atmosphere is nice and clean, we had breakfast and the food was good and of good quality, it is probably family run so the only flaw of this bar is the service, they are a few for the amount of work they have!

11/09/2026: We've had trouble reading the menue as the tables at the back have very poor lights. The half chicken was very tasty but slightly dry. Nice atmosphere though.

11/09/2026: My dish was too spicy for me, I did ask if it was mild when ordering, I found it too hot. I did get natural yogurt from the staff to cool it down, very helpful but I didn't enjoy my dish. I will have to try something else next time, definitely less hot!

03/09/2026: Absolutely shocking experience. I ordered a potato hash for €15.50 and paid an additional €4 for goat’s cheese, bringing it to €19.50. When it arrived, there was barely a teaspoon of goat’s cheese on the entire dish, as you can see in the photo. I asked for more goat’s cheese, and when the bill arrived, the owner had added another €4 charge for it. Had I not noticed and refused to pay it, I would have been charged €22.50. There was no misunderstanding here — the owner herself added the charge. It felt like she was trying to pull a fast one and rip me off, and I find that absolutely disgraceful. What made it even worse was that she wouldn't even come over and apologise herself. Instead, she sent another member of staff over to remove the €4 from the bill. Then, to make matters worse, we had also ordered a tea which never arrived. I had to notice that too and ask for it to be removed from the bill. So I was left having to check the bill for charges that shouldn't have been there in the first place. The food was already extremely poor value — €19.50 for a plate of potatoes with a tiny amount of goat’s cheese — but the way this was handled was even more disappointing. When the owner of a restaurant is the one adding an extra charge and then won't even apologise to the customer herself, it says a lot. I would absolutely not return and would advise anyone eating here to check their bill very carefully.

18/07/2026: Visited the farm today with my family . Great family day out for the kids. Lovely experience very friendly staff, and a very reasonable price for the entry fee . Definitely worth the visit ⭐️

17/07/2026: Great day out with loads for kids to do. Walk around and feed the animals, sand pit, playground, go carts and a lovely area with little vehicle for kids to drive around in. Lovely cafe too.

18/06/2026: Really lovely experience at Bottles Bank Pub in Rathgar today. My son fell just outside and a staff member immediately came out to help us, cleaned his knee and put a plaster on him. Such a kind and caring gesture in the moment — really appreciated it as my son and I felt well looked after 😊 This definitely speaks well of the people working here! In a few years (at least 13!) when my son and I go for a pint, we will definitely come by! 😉😊
