06/05/2025: We had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately the food and the atmosphere leave a lot to be desired. The food (we ordered fish and chicken) tastes like something you can expect to be fed on the airplane, and the omnipresent AC units and cheaply decorated walls spoil any hope of charm. Overall - a tourist trap. Don’t be us and put more effort in finding a good restaurant.

17/05/2025: At first sight, I thought I was going to regret having lunch here. Gate leading to the restaurant was locked, so I had to circle around. Restaurant seemed cheap, and the interior was off putting . Menu was small and simple, and the drinks menu was only wine. Service was excellent. Food was very tasty and very good value. Overall it's worth checking it out.
17/05/2025: Really authentic, delicious food, great value for money and such pleasant staff. Great wine selection...though short..highly recommend ..don't get put off by the industrial setting

28/05/2025: Absolutely exceptional! Gorgeous Bangkok style Street art plus signage and decor. Cozy cool atmosphere. Friendly accommodating, and at the top of their game staff! The food was amazing. Absolutely everything is extraordinary about this Thai restaurant. We are not at all surprised to see all of the many awards on the walls. Do not miss it!!
27/05/2025: Absolutely blown away by the Khao Soi here. Easily the best I’ve had anywhere, and that includes spots in the U.S. where we’ve come. Super creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced, with just the right heat. You can tell they put serious care into the flavors.
The dining area also felt unexpectedly homey and reminded me of traveling through Southeast Asia. The bright yellow exterior made it such a cute stop as we found this as we walked along the street. Kin Khao Thai was such a gem to find in Athlone. Highly recommend for anyone looking for real Thai food that delivers way beyond expectations.

31/05/2025: We loved Murphys so much, we went 3 times in our week in Ireland! Twice in Dingle and once in Cork. In my opinion, the best flavor combo is butterscotch and Dingle sea salt. But do your own research!!

30/05/2025: We loved it. The flavors were very good and my crepe was outstanding. I can't remember the name but I had a crepe with Nutella and bananas. The crepe was cooked perfectly. As someone else mentioned, the paper / disposable spoke wasn't ideal but it worked. I wanted to go back again the next night it got too late. Give Gino's a try. You won't be disappointed.

11/06/2025: Amazing place! I had the fresh oysters and the tuna tartare, both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I sat outside, and it was very comfortable thanks to the shade and the attentive staff. The atmosphere was beautiful, with lots of lavender, bees, and birds. It felt so nice to be surrounded by nature near the coast. I definitely recommend it!
08/06/2025: Was at high table, too near the bar. Very noisy with people pushing past on way to their seats. Recommend to book table not high seats. Staff are very friendly and professional though. Food good.

13/05/2025: Don't know it till you try it. Staff, Service,Food 100%. You're right at home. Next question I can't answer because it is priceless well worth it. It's our treat once a month, or if I've to slip into town for another reason. I was in on the 7th of my birthday eve. As always, I left with I'll see you again soon x

The food was great, the portions are really big, we all enjoyed our pints of Guinness- overall AMAZING experience! 🩷
