The best restaurants

25/08/2026: A must stop in lahinch . We had breakfast and coffee here both mornings of our stay . I had the homemade granola the 1st morning it was soooo good. Had the breakfast bap the 2nd morning it was amazing . Coffee is very good too !! Staff were so friendly , we got served quickly , place is spotless . Will 100% visit again .

28/07/2026: Excellent breakfast, perhaps the best after eight days in Ireland. Everything was excellent: the cappuccinos, the blueberry muffins, the banana bread. The place is small but cozy, and the staff is very friendly.

13/09/2026: It's a fantastic place! The coffee with milk is excellent. The food is very tasty and homemade. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

08/09/2026: Solid breakfast spot with a great selection of fresh and plentiful options. Everything tasted fresh, and there was plenty to choose from. I also loved that they have lots of both indoor and outdoor seating, making it easy to find a comfortable spot. Overall, a great place for a casual breakfast!

30/08/2026: Went to Mad Yolks in Smithfield, and as always, the food and staff were absolutely amazing. The employees consistently provide such a high standard of service, and I truly believe their pay should reflect the same high standard that the restaurant expects and delivers. The quality of the staff is a huge part of what makes the experience so great, and they deserve to be recognised and compensated accordingly

28/08/2026: I've been gettin the tofu spicebag here on occasion for the last 3ish years, they've gone from good to awful to great then average then just tonight 14/08, I got one and it's quite possibly the best one I've ever had anywhere (I've tried ALOT). The tofu was perfect, loads of onion & veg and the chips didn't even need a sauce they were that well dressed and seasoned, juicy is the best to describe it all and the perfect amount of spice. The satay was a bit watery for my liking but all in all massive step up, so whoever was on spicebags tonight, can I know what nights your on so I know when to order?

25/08/2026: We had a wonderful experience here. The place was clean, bright and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service, and the food was simply beautiful. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

07/08/2026: This is one of the best chippers I've had in Dublin in a very long time. Way better than burdocks and beshoffs in my opinion. The food is worth the calories. We had the fresh cod, chips and onion scolop. Everything was delicious. I was surprised at how inexpensive the food was, especially considering the quality.

01/08/2026: Got looked after by Ayla for the night of my friends leaving party and my god she was the best. She was so friendly and nice with the biggest smile and the best cocktails. That girl needs a raise ❤️

21/09/2026: We had a weekend stay in September and had the best time. The staff were incredibly friendly, a great laugh, quick service, even though they were busy. The Guinness was cold and lots of traditional furniture gave the pub a great atmosphere. The toilets remained very clean too. The management run a Guinness and Oysters festival and raise funds for local sports teams, which was a great Saturday night with a fabulous buffet spread and live music. Over the course of the weekend, we had fish and chips, oysters, very fresh lobster, the fiery prawns and curry chips were awesome, as was the Sunday Roast! We will be booking to go back next September and do it all again!

02/09/2026: Definitely one of the most beautiful places I have visited near Dublin! Ardgillan Castle is amazing, especially the gardens, the castle and the views of the sea. The best part is that the park is free to visit. It is a great place to walk around, take pictures, have a picnic or just relax and enjoy the views. Definitely worth visiting, especially on a sunny day. I will definitely come back!

21/08/2026: Sandra has been absolutely amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend coming for breakfast and a nice pint of Guinness and a bottle of bubbles.

26/08/2026: Really nice fish and chips, the flavor y is amazing and the crust is crispy while the fish is juicy inside. I would preferred a little bit of chatting and not just order by machine. But that's just a personal opinion nothing really important about the food or place. I would definitely be back soon

18/09/2026: I have had dinner in this restaurant on a number of occasions. The food is consistently excellent and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. It is also very clear from the menu that those with food intolerance are very well catered for. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

18/09/2026: I was there for the third time two weeks ago, and they never cease to amaze me, especially with the service, and of course, the excellent food, as always. It's by far my favorite restaurant in the city.

09/07/2026: Best Guinness in all of Dublin. And we tried almost every pint I reckon. They wouldn't let us have it until the head had settled properly. It really was lighter somehow.

09/07/2026: Absolutely superb. I think we've tried 15 different places for a pint of Guinness on our visit this week. Kavanagh's is easily the best. No idea how but it's lighter and no bitter taste.
