The best restaurants

08/04/2026: I like to visit them because taste is good but every time i go there the portion size get smaller and smaller each day would like to have standard portions each time

16/04/2026: I didn’t get anything crazy just a salad which I thought wasn’t half bad! My friend got the soup of the day (vegetable— she wasn’t the biggest fan of it). The Irish coffees weren’t very good though I don’t know if my expectations were higher but i was just a little disappointed. The seating was also just a little tight.

05/05/2026: Amazing atmosphere and amazing staff. Pub was full and they still made an effort to ensure we got a seat. Friendly team who even played happy birthday for my friends dog. One of the few last proper Irish pubs in the heart of the city

09/03/2026: 5* food and service. I had the Carbonara and the kids had goujons and chips. It was beautiful and as I was rushing for the airport, they facilitated me super fast, I calculated 6 minutes from ordering to table!! Delicious and fresh, will definitely return.

25/03/2026: I recently had a Full Irish breakfast at the Hyde Hotel in Galway, priced at €18.50, and found it to be fairly average for the cost. While the presentation initially seemed decent, it was disappointing to discover that the 5 or 6 rashers—hidden beneath the bread—were undercooked and really didn’t feel properly prepared. Overall, the experience didn’t quite justify the price. Service was good, albeit a slightly long waiting time.

24/03/2026: We went from pub to pub and nothing was really quenching my satisfaction. I enjoyed the Guinness but wanted more. I heard about this place so walked in without a reservation with hubby. Everyone was nice and we got a cute table right away. Ordered a flight of Irish gin and loved the experience! Bartender came and explained each in detail and then later made me an amazing drink no longer in the menu with rose petals and lemon sweet foam! It was Amazing! We ordered the spicy sausage pizza and mezze appetizer with hummus and nothing was left. We leave Galway tomorrow but everyone was so nice wish we could go back.

06/04/2026: Excellent vibes about this place! I believe it was a 'Dale' spotted us coming in and immediately made sure we had seats, which was highly sound of him and welcoming. Got seated next to and chatting to a long established regular 'Nathan' who was beyond civil and a credit to himself and to the pub. Pub itself is super cool, well presented, well lit, great music, superb beer garden, very relaxed, and drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Not just one of the best bars in Sligo, one the best bars in the country I reckon. Well done to all👌

16/04/2026: The food was splendidly delicious. Everything was beautifully presented. Absolutely everything! Congratulations to the head chef and his team for giving us such a wonderful evening. Thanks also to the staff for their excellent service. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Dublin. 100% recommended.

13/04/2026: We had such a lovely evening at Mr Fox celebrating a birthday. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The team made the evening extra special with personal touches. We chose the tasting menu and were delighted we did! Each course was excellent, with such interesting flavours, e.g basil and jalapeño with the tuna crudo. The standout dish was the duck main course. We picked a white burgundy with the meal (the wine list is reasonably priced for a restaurant of this calibre). Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

04/01/2026: Lovely place for brunch with a unique menu. One of our party was a bit disappointed they couldn't get scrambled eggs with their breakfast, but they enjoyed their poached eggs all the same.

01/01/2026: Brunch here was stellar. The pancetta hash was savory and addictive while the ricotta pancakes were some of the best pancakes I've ever had! Great smoothies as well! Love that you can sit outside too. This is the place to go in Cork for breakfast!
