En una reciente visita a mitad de semana a Rinuccini, la comida y Servicio - como siempre - eran excelentes, pero la experiencia fue arruinada por la gente ruidosa en la mesa de al lado. He estado en Rinuccini en varias ocasiones con diferentes amigos y siempre ha sido un punto culminante de una visita a Kilkenny. Esta vez fue diferente. Un grupo de siete personas, cinco hombres y dos mujeres, en la mesa de al lado actuaron como si estuvieran en un pub en lugar de un buen restaurante. Sus charlas y risas eran tan fuertes que hacían la conversación muy difícil para todos los demás en la sala. Puedo entender la renuencia del personal a intervenir, pero estoy seguro de que notaron la tensión en la habitación. Las personas que estaban en las otras tres mesas cercanas quedaron apagadas por el ruido, pero lamentablemente, el grupo parecía desconocer que su comportamiento era inapropiado. No me detendrá volver, y recomendaría este restaurante, pero solo tenía que compartir mi decepción con la experiencia general en esta ocasión.

12/08/2025: Awesome, award-winning restaurant which deserves all the praise it gets. The food is fabulous, great quality and service is great too. Will definitely come back.

11/08/2025: We went there twice. The first time was on a Friday evening and the second time on a Sunday. The food was delicious both times, although the cheesecake wasn't the best choice. The service was fantastic on Friday. However, on Sunday it was apparently very busy, which was clearly noticeable to the staff.

25/07/2025: Had fish and chips and a pint of Guinness. The fish was miniscule, but the chip serving was generous. A small salad side order provided too. Good service. Paid €24. Felt cheated. Excellent view out over Tralee bay and Fenit harbour.

21/07/2025: Stopped in here for dinner last minute while in Castlegregory recently, literally rang 10 minutes before we arrived and they had a table reserved and ready for us. The service was incredible and the food was perfect. 2 people decided on the fish (battered and oven baked) and they said it was some of the best fish they've had in a while. I opted for the chicken burger and it was delicious. Has great indoor and outdoor eating options. Plus some cosy tables in the pub section. Although you can't beat the view out onto the bay from the restaurant/outdoor area. Plenty of parking behind the pub off the road and more across the road. It has a small kids playground attached to it next to the carpark. Highly recommended if you're looking for a bite to eat in the area.

01/08/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior, although small, is well decorated and very welcoming. The service is fast and the staff attentive.

05/08/2025: French bakery with exceptional pastries that feels like a Parisian cafe, it looks small but there's plenty of seating further back. The chocolate tart is so rich and decadent. The strawberry tart is light and sweet. The croissant is flakey and buttery and served with fresh jam. They also have traditional baguettes and savory bites to eat.

27/07/2025: The place has improved a lot in the last months. Food is delicious and fast served. The service was really nice and it has been nicely decorated as well. Recommended for pad thai and crispy chilli chicken.

21/07/2025: Went in. Firstly the place look immaculate. I’ve been in a lot of takeaways but this one is amazing. I got the pepperoni pizza. A woodfire pizza you don’t usually get down here in Portarlington. But this blew me away. Cannot wait to get back to have again and again

22/08/2025: - it was slow, we waited 30 minutes for our food even though they were the specialty ++/- it was good and filling, though the toasts served with the soup were fridge cold 😕 -- I'm used to tip for the quality, but apparently in that restaurant the service is not included, so the waitress ask you for more (damn, that's not the US here 😠). That was not appreciated.

16/08/2025: We found it by chance and it motivated us to go in... it did not disappoint, very friendly service (including several Spaniards), abundant and very tasty dishes, the mussels were delicious and the fish & chips too, the fish was perhaps a bit dry for my taste but the batter was very good.

23/07/2025: A generously sized restaurant located in the heart of Westport, near the river. It has a veranda and outdoor seating. The restaurant is spread across several rooms, and there are several TVs for watching sports. I was there for dinner. The staff was attentive, helpful, and quick with their service. The food is good, although the menu isn't very varied. It's adequate, but unfortunately the beer selection isn't great. The dessert menu is good. I had soup and sea bass with puree and cooked vegetables.

20/07/2025: The food was excellent but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the service we received. We were rushed from the moment we arrived, despite having a reservation. We were given barely any time to read the menu and felt so uncomfortable for our whole meal. This was a special weekend away and probably the worst service I have experienced. Such a shame when the food was so good.
