The best restaurants

15/09/2026: Absolutely amazing Middle Eastern food! Honestly, some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The authentic taste really stood out, and every dish was delicious. Highly recommended if you love Middle Eastern cuisine And can’t wait for the new kunafa dessert to be out for me to try it

18/09/2026: Anything under €6.50 is cheap for Dublin, so €5 here is an absolute steal. Don't know how they even make profit on that.

23/08/2026: Went in with a group of 4, as our AirBnB was on the same block. We were ordering drinks at the bar to take outside and were approached by a bearded man with a tablet. He proceeded to tell us that they don’t serve anyone who is standing at the bar. We were also informed that only parties of two could occupy the stools at the bar and there was one individual at the bar at the time. We obliged and headed outside to an empty table. I understand this is a hoity toity cocktail bar, but it’s literally across the street from a homeless hostel (DePaul). Being so pretentious but so close to the ghetto and turds on the sidewalk was literally the joke of our entire trip 🤣

26/08/2026: Gorgeous cafe in the gardens of the nano nagle museum. You wouldn’t know it was there from the street but it’s well worth a visit. It’s relaxing to sit amongst the garden. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Not dog friendly. We had some coffees and cake. Cake was quite good, large portions but a little expensive. Good coffee

26/08/2026: Unbelievable! The blackstone benedict was absolutely beautiful one of the tastiest eggs benedicts I’ve ever had. The coffee was lovely, and we even tried some of the cakes afterwards, which were divine. The staff were so lovely and attentive. This place is a hidden gem in Cork city, and I honestly can’t believe I’d never been here before. Well worth a visit, and if you’re vegetarian, you’ll be in HEAVEN 😍

04/07/2026: Great craic. Great service. Usually live music. Loads of seating. Close to town. Always a nice crowd here, locals & tourists.

14/06/2026: Wonderful evening with live music! The bar staff are so friendly and the Guinness is so good! I was desperate to hear live trad music (not in Temple Bar) and finally found this place the day before our departure back to the states. Nice mix of locals and tourists here, and not packed in like sardines. (Also the place where The Dubliners got their start, can't get much better than that!) Definitely come here for an authentic evening with like-minded folk.

03/09/2026: Amazing experience. The food was delicious, well executed with some surprising textures and flavour combinations that paired perfectly. Our favourite was the hamachi crudo, an absolute delight. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and created a very comfortable atmosphere. Shoutout to Mani for accompanying us during the evening and for the extra bread! Plus, the restaurant is beautiful, with a combination of vibrant colors and warm tones that create a cozy and elevated space.

20/08/2026: We had a truly lovely and relaxing evening at Variety Jones. Everything was wonderful! The venue, the atmosphere, the food, the wine, and the superb service – simply everything was outstanding. We highly recommend it!

21/06/2026: In Vaughans in liscannor today for dinner the staff are lovely the food was okay, The Guinness tap not working right cooler gone ,the other drinks not great either, very disappointed with it, went to the pub next door for a drink,such a difference with the drink,

05/09/2026: We had scones and apple pie, both very good. It's a shame we didn't try more! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Traditional food.

04/09/2026: The Best breakfast/brunch/lunch option !! - Order the traditional Boxty-SO delicious! , fabulous service even on a busy morning. Small space but outside seating is partially covered .

17/09/2026: Exceptional service from Mia recently at our visit! She was extremely helpful, super welcoming and very attentive to our table. We came with a baby- we were given a high seat immediately, which was appreciated! Food was incredibly tasty as always! Highly recommend wings, burgers, and mac cheese. Always makes a difference when having such good service so please let Mia know we thought she made our visit- we will absolutely be back and will be recommending to others!

12/09/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Cirillo’s! The pizza was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. A special mention to Johnny, the pizzaiolo, who clearly puts a lot of passion and skill into his pizzas, absolutely fantastic! 🍕 Our lovely waitress Erica was also amazing. She was friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome throughout the whole luch. Excellent service with a lovely atmosphere. Thank you Johnny and Erica for making our visit so enjoyable! We will definitely be back. ❤️

07/08/2026: Read this if you’re from Canada 🚨 Cali rolls at home are $6 - here they’re £17.50 😭 and they’re the worst thing I’ve ever had. There was a literal crab shell in the roll, I thought I broke a tooth. The gyoza are so small it’s laughable and they’re also insanely expensive. I need to stop trusting the high reviewed places because they have been the worst I’ve been to in all of Ireland. Can’t trust the Irish judgement clearly.

17/09/2026: Just exceptional. Had no expectations walking in and came out having had one of the best meals of our lives. Drinks, oysters, Bavette, dumplings, gnudi world class. Will remember this meal for a long, long time.

10/09/2026: This restaurant scores way above what you would expect. Their tapas like food is fantastic and the staff and the owner are super friendly. Try anybody their dishes but especially their mushroom dish.
