03/05/2026: Most fabulous meal I've enjoyed in a long time. Got the mixed seafood platter & gelato for dessert - delicious! Service was exceptional and atmosphere was amazing considering the restaurant was full for Sunday lunch. No crazy noise! A rare treat with brilliant company ✨️ 👌 ☺️

28/04/2026: I do not recommend it, we had a scheduled appointment, everything was great, they agreed with everything and they didn't let me know that they were canceling it until I personally called, very bad experience and great dissatisfaction

05/05/2026: We went there because it said it was dog friendly online, got there they said a dog wasn't allowed we had a quiet border collie.

04/05/2026: Friday, with music playing. A large pub with a great atmosphere, a must-visit. Yes, it's noisy, but worth it. They even had a pizza stand inside.

27/10/2025: We had a delicious meal at Lord Baker's! The proprietor was there and was so attentive along with the rest of his staff. We had an appetizer of Stuffed Mushrooms that we ended up ordering a second order of because they were so delicious. All of our food was well prepared, and they even put a little surprise on my dad's dessert for his birthday! We all tried each other's dishes and no one was disappointed!

27/09/2025: I got chai and flatbread with all veggies, lamb and beetroot sauce for lunch. Chai was not like normally Indian friends make for me but it was nice. Food was amazing! My friend had salad there and I should go back there to try it! Location was perfect! It was sunny day so we had lunch at dining area just outside restaurant.

04/05/2026: Had such a lovely time at The Monk’s Well yesterday for day two of my friend’s wedding. Geraldine was lovely & a great host to us and ensured for a great evening. The atmosphere was brilliant—really relaxed and full of good vibes. The Barn area was the perfect spot to host us & give us the space to continue the celebrations! The evening food platters & freshly baked pizzas were absolutely delicious, and the staff & service were amazing! We wanted for nothing! Would definitely recommend as a venue for a great get-together! Will Definitely be back for future occasions. Many many thanks!

20/04/2026: Second time visiting. Food is amazing and staff is always friendly and efficient. We had a bit of a wait for the dog friendly area but it was worth it as it was in a quieter area a bit further from the live music and the shared tables. An experience worth revisiting.

19/04/2026: Johnny fox's pub is an all time favourite for most if not all locals and tourists as I am a bus driver I frequently find myself here with a tour famous for its fish menu and many presidents from all over the world have had a visit too this land mark pub the highest pub in ireland I had the Guinness pie a big favourite well worth the visit

04/04/2026: Had the friday brisket sandwich. Unfortunately the three of us agreed the brisket was very hard to chew. Lovely staff and chilled atmosphere but I’ll be thinking twice before trying again. I’ve had food here before and it was great but if all three people had the same result, I think some changes could be made to tenderise the meat. Mushroom soup was very tasty.

17/04/2026: Brilliant experience. We went for my husband's birthday as brand new climbers and the staff were so lovely. Shout out to Sophie who was so kind, patient and caught us when we fell! We'll definitely be back.

27/03/2026: Last night we phoned and spoke with Samona. We ordered a takeaway of mixed salad, tagliolini with homemade bread. OMG the food was absolutely mouth watering and delicious 😋. We will definitely order again. Please note you can also dine in as well.

25/03/2026: The food is so delicious, the owners are all so friendly, and the pizza comes out super fast!!! Above all, it's so tasty and the service is so good that if you visit here to wrap up your trip, you can have a happy vacation!
