09/08/2025: Very tasty dinner. I ordered fish with shrimps, in sauce and with potatoes. Excellent choice! I recommend visiting this restaurant. The robot that brings food amused us 😅
09/08/2025: Had food for a large family gathering. Food was well presented and tasty. Service could have been better. Waiter was quite rude and didn't seem interested in our custom.

12/08/2025: It was our cab driver who was taking us to the car park for the hellfire club, who recommended that we stop by after our hike for a tasty freshmade sandwich before heading back to Dublin. We are so grateful for his suggestion! The country store is adorable, the fresh crumbles and muffins are delicious, the sandwiches are delectable, and it was such a fun and unique experience to sit in one of the cozy little custom huts throughout the yard for our lunch. If you're planning to hike to the hellfire club, plan for a post hike, lunch at this spot!

08/06/2025: Can't believe I haven't written a review for The Happy Pear before now having eaten here a few times over the years.
Where to start - I imagine most people will know who the Happy Pear are (if not where have you been?). Steve and Dave are social media stars with their wonderful restaurant, organic farm, online recipes, early morning sea swims etc, etc.
The food itself is all vegan, but I would challenge any carnivore to try it as it is so tasty, wholesome, and filling you will not miss the meat! Go on, help us change the world 🌎
They also have an excellent shop where you can buy all their organic produce.
Today I had their delicious lasagne with a tasty salad and potatoes.

18/08/2025: Amazing. I got the chicken karahi which was phenomenal and the tandoori roti which was just succulent. The staff were lovely and hospitable too. They give you a free appetizer before your meal. The food is also halal. 10/10 would come again.

Didn't catch a lot of doggos, as they were probably enjoying the nice weather outside, but the vibes were good!

24/07/2025: I really enjoyed the food here, and the Irish coffee was excellent. Even when it’s busy, the atmosphere is lively in a good way. The bar and dining areas are separated, so you can still have a proper conversation over dinner without too much noise. A great spot whether you’re stopping by for a drink or sitting down for a meal.

10/07/2025: An authentic pub in arguably the most beautiful part of Ireland, hurling on TV, Guinness and top-quality fish and chips. My wife even got a non-alcoholic shandy… They're considerate of the unfamiliar.
06/07/2025: A beautiful place! I tried the fish tostada special today and it was to die for. The team are so warm and welcoming and there is so much life around the pub, whether it's people cheering for the hurling, dancing to live music, having a pint on the waterfront or even using the sauna on the front lawn. An epic spot to spend your day 😁
