10/06/2026: The food and coffee are always top-notch here, as well as the service, but a special shout-out needs to be given to the desserts. A friend and I recently visited Riggers and had the best time! I had the avo toast with panko'd halloumi along with a dirty chai latte, while they had eggs benedict and a hot chocolate. After we finished our delicious food, we decided to treat ourselves to four desserts; yes... I said four! They all looked so good that we had a difficult time deciding between them. My favourite dessert out of the four was probably the passion fruit and coconut but they all gave something so different (yet tasted so good) that it really was a toss-up! I'm looking forward to going back and tasting the rest of the menu.

07/06/2026: I had breakfast with a friend for the first time at Riggers, and it was a total success. A very friendly Brazilian guy served us, always smiling and attentive. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back

05/06/2026: Delicious meal in this restaurant, some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. We both ate light and vegetarian, I wish I had more of an appetite going in. all dishes were exceptional in terms of depth of flavours and presentation. Served beautifully by a professional, delightful team. Outstanding black lentil dhal, cauliflower and aloo ghobi, cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Can’t wait to return.

17/05/2026: Some of the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India! We ordered the potato cakes (aloo tikki) appetizer, which was light, not heavy, perfectly cooked, and with complex and layered flavors. For the mains, we ordered the keema pao and the butter chicken. We also had sides of naan and basmati rice. Everything was delicious and well made. Flavorful but not overwhelming or off-putting in any way. We wished we had saved room for dessert, but we were too full. Service was excellent, and we felt well attended to, without feeling smothered. Highly recommend this place!

01/06/2026: My wife, son & Myself visited today for the first time, after hearing brilliant reviews, & we were not disappointed. The level of professionalism we received from the moment we walked in the front door, was unbelievable. The food was STUNNINGLY beautiful, authentic Italian cuisine. I had the stuffed chicken, my wife had the beef escalope, & my son had the kids menu. The food was perfection. We will 100% be returning, on a regular. Highly recommend!

07/05/2026: Had a meal here today. It was excellent. Marina and Marco were fantastic hosts. The restaurant itself is modern and spotless. The food was beautifully presented and served quickly. I had the Tagliatelle in a creamy salmon sauce. I always worry that sometimes Italian food can be overwhelmed by a tomato based sauce but this was not. The tomato flavour was very subtle and did not murder the smoked salmon. My wife had the Sorrento salad and it was full of flavour. The calamari was cooked to perfection and did not feel like she was eating a rubber band. We decided to share the homemade Tiramisu. It is probably my favourite dessert and this was probably the best I have ever eaten. The coffee flavour was present but not it was not bitter. Overall a very enjoyable meal and we will definitely go back again.

07/06/2026: Shells Cafe is an absolute gem on Strandhill beach. It’s facing the ocean. Food is amazing and super tasty. Very very busy place so be ready for the queue. Again it’s busy for a reason. It does kill the atmosphere sometime when you see crying kids and people on top of each other. lol. Everything they serve is outstanding tho so it’s worth it. They are very famous for their TREACLE Bread, always get sold within 1 hour😁 I even ask for their bread recipe and they did give it to me 😂 Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

18/05/2026: We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Awesome Walls with a group of fourteen(!!) 11yr olds. The climbing went well - patient and helpful instructors - and the room for snacks and cake was simple and just what we needed. I can imagine that if you're a member and you see a large number of kids descend on your climbing gym it's a bit off-putting, but the place has a good vibe and people were kind. I recommend it!

01/05/2026: Came in with a kid and had a teaser class with Luke! He was super nice, friendly and accommodating with the little one! Would definitely recommend! Excellent experience, will be back!

21/04/2026: Amazing Pizza Margherita. We devoured it before I could snap a picture. Here on a bus tour, this was a quick and tasty option for anyone who might be a bit fish and chipped out.

14/05/2026: The food was excellent, really authentic Italian done properly. Everything we had was full of flavour and clearly made with care –we ordered simple dishes but done very, very well. The pasta in particular was spot on. Definitely recommend booking as it small but the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed to sit in and enjoy your evening Service was friendly and easygoing, no fuss, just genuine and welcoming. All in all, a really enjoyable night and definitely one we’ll be repeating.

27/03/2026: Last night we phoned and spoke with Samona. We ordered a takeaway of mixed salad, tagliolini with homemade bread. OMG the food was absolutely mouth watering and delicious 😋. We will definitely order again. Please note you can also dine in as well.

09/06/2026: Such a wonderful little coffee shop with so many baked goods and great sandwiches. Just a 5 minute walk out of town. A lot of locals really enjoy this place.

17/05/2026: Literally one of the best burgers I've ever had. The staff where incredible, super fast service, super friendly.

07/05/2026: Although not labelled on their menu; most of the burgers can be made gluten free and the fries/chips are gluten free too! Maybe in the top 3 best burgers I’ve ever had. It was all balanced so well. They also had a GF IPA so celiacs are welcome here! The staff all seem like they’re great friends and the manager Paddy is a really nice fella who clearly cares about people’s experience. The only negative part of my experience was at the end of my meal realizing that I won’t be able to eat here again until my next trip to Ireland. My partner has a normal stomach and also LOVED her meal! You guys earned a loyal Canadian customer today, you have my deepest gratitude for just “doing it right”!

16/05/2026: A great place to stay overnight. The rooms have been recently renovated. It was done nicely, but the finishing could have been checked over. There were paint residues and loose pieces of wallpaper. We had dinner in the restaurant. It tasted delicious. It is really worth it. Afterwards, you can walk right over to the pub located in the same building. Cozy and intimate with lots of locals.

20/05/2026: Came highly recommended from a local...they were right. a little bit of a challenge finding it, due mostly to our bad GPS. excellent food, staff and ambiance. 👍👍

04/05/2026: The food is amazing. The rooms are nice, but small. The shower isn't great. The hotel itself is really nice with loads of interesting features and a really nice terrace for drinks and lunch.
