The best restaurants

06/08/2025: As other reviews have noted they have issues with the service here. I decided to try it anyway because it seemed like the reviews for the food were good and I was able to get a reservation on short notice. Honestly the food was pretty bland. My wife and I both felt the red sauce in our pasta dishes was tasteless, and for some reason the sauce that came with the arancini was cold as if it had come from the fridge. Never experienced that before. The biggest issue is the service. It takes a very long time between visits from the wait staff. Once we had finished our entrees we waited for about an hour, then the waitress asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu, we said yes, and then she ghosted us. I eventually had to walk up to the manager and ask about it, I was still willing to order dessert but they had run out of cake by that point, so I just asked for the check. Can't really recommend unless they make some changes to the service and the food.

11/08/2025: This location is beautiful and serene, and there's tons to explore nearby if you have a car. The food is delicious, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and committed to ensuring a comfortable stay. It is highly recommended for anyone wishing to explore the beauty of County Wicklow while enjoying a historically rich and wonderful place to stay.

18/07/2025: I love this place. Didn’t know what it was, saw it recommended on Reddit during my trip research, booked it, and so happy that I did! It was for a bday celebration, food and Bev were excellent. Service is bravo. Good job Dublin , highly recommended.

14/07/2025: Without a single doubt in my mind this is one of the best restaurants in the country. Tucked away in Ranelagh, the food, service and atmosphere are all 10/10 . Try the chefs menu, great value for the variety of incredible food you'll get .

03/08/2025: One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time, and the freshly made tiramisu was the cherry on top. Better than what I've had in some great spots in Italy. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

22/08/2025: Absolutely loved our dinner at Kirwan’s. Just off the busy main road, this gem of a restaurant offers some wonderful seafood dishes. We had oysters, hake and seabass. What really stood out for us though is the service! All waiters and waitresses were incredibly attentive and kind. Though we didn’t book they made an effort to find space for us. I’d hightly recommend this restaurant.

21/08/2025: The service was great, beer, wine- awesome. But chowder with some strange stuff inside, like the thickener(can be wrong), and the risotto its just like an oatmeal, not the original italian risotto. But tasty. So overall 3 from 5.

20/07/2025: Cute little cafe with the best creamy chai late delicious cinnamon bun and toasted ham and cheese sandwich - parking easy and convenient right out front, friendly staff.
