The best restaurants

18/11/2025: Forget about it is the phrase often exclaimed in the mafia movies. Well the same applies with Fishers! Absolutely handsdown down the best fish and chips establishments in London. Amazing quality fish as well as chips the way they are supposed to be made. Amazing service coupled with the great size of the establishment in my view makes for a cosy but engaging experience. If you have to travel across London to experience this gem then take my advise, it's the best!

13/10/2025: A nice pub to grab a drink and chat with a friend, Very relaxed cozy atmosphere. Had a misinformed Google post, that the place offered food and drinks , even showing a menu, just to clarify for you. It's only a bar . It was a good one we enjoyed our whiskey on the rocks .

03/12/2025: Super experience in Solas over the weekend, having wanted to try for so long. Had a mix of small and medium plates with the standouts being the wagyu beef taco, crab tartlets and the oysters although all dishes were exceptional. Service was excellent and right on the mark in terms of pace, friendliness and helpfulness. A well oiled machine in the heart of Dingle.

30/10/2025: Wonderful dinner venue. Booked at the last minute and wasn’t disappointed. Fantastic food, very friendly service and an exceptionally interesting menu. Everything tasted fantastic, the food was very fresh and the atmosphere was welcoming and cosy. Initial disappointment at lack of beers was more than compensated for by quality of food.

30/10/2025: If I had only tried them earlier in my trip. So wonderful fish was tender inside light crispy coating, no oil laying on the outside. Perfect fries. Enjoyed openess of space, tables to sit at or wait for take away. Take away was quick and pleasant customer service. If in this area again will be visiting often.

30/10/2025: Always fresh red fish and a large selection of frozen food, I had chowder, I've had tastier ones, but this one was also good, it's a matter of taste, the place is good

09/11/2025: I just love this place. The people behind the counter are super friendly - even when you are a tourist and you are a little clumsy as I am :D The baking goods are outstanding and there is a changing variety of them.

04/10/2025: To be honest, not the best ice cream I’ve ever had 😜 Maybe because of the flavour I chose – cheesecake. I couldn’t even taste a hint of cheesecake in it. For me, it was just like McDonald’s machine ice cream 😜 On the plus side: huge portions, kind service, and a pretty low price.

22/09/2025: Astonishingly good gelato. Perfect temperature and texture, and the flavour- spectacular. It's pricey (€5.50 for a small dish is more than $8 Canadian- that's EXPENSIVE) but worth it for an absolutely delicious treat.

19/10/2025: My family and I went here for my birthday meal. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The service was great very quick but still had great customer service along with it. We all ordered different food and were in agreement that our food was lovely. Great flavour and good portion sizing. The owner came over to talk with us and we briefly stated it was my birthday in a passing comment during conversation which they had taken more notice of then we realised as the staff came over with a surprise birthday dessert with happy birthday written on the plate which to us made a big impression of how much they care for their customers and truly do listen to what we say. Overall this was an amazing experience and we will be back again.

11/10/2025: Visited for a birthday lunch, we asked for all courses to come at once as one of us didn't want a starter and they were incredibly accommodating and everything came out really fast. Food was great and service was brilliant too, highly recommend

18/09/2025: Very good value for money (for Dublin City centre) and great service. We had a couple of glasses of wine each and the charcuterie & cheese sharing board as a late lunch. There was more than enough on that board for the 2 of us, very generous portion. The wine was also very nice, not the usual cheap acidic overpriced stuff many pubs dish out. It’s not really a pub anymore, more of a restaurant/Gastropub but that doesn’t mean you can’t go in there just for a drink, we did, but the food looked good, we were hungry, so we ordered and weren’t disappointed, in fact we were pleasantly surprised.

16/09/2025: We stopped in for lunch and had a charcuterie board with 4 cheeses , salami and prosciutto , mixed olives and crackers. Washed down with an Oharas red and a pino griggo Staff were amazing , a fantastic Irish pub

11/11/2025: These people have no shame. Microwaveble meals are of better quality than what I've been served here. Food arived less than 5 minutes after ordering, I'll let you figure out why that might be... The bread was at least 3 days old, the sauce was runnier than water, pasta was of the worst quality imaginable, the rest of ingridients were of the shelf prediced quality. Not once I was asked how did I like my food, again, no shame. Please do yourself a favour and don't come near this place, especially for pasta dishes. Edit: Get a negative feedback, don't acknowledge most issues mentioned, lie about your service, and call the entire review fake. As I said, no shame.

05/12/2025: Love love love this place. The fabulous lady who is front of house (and who also is the dessert chef) is such a joy. I love going back as often as I can. The sardinian bread at the start is a lovely touch. The raviole is my fave.

18/11/2025: Visited this place with friends at the weekend and it truly is a little gem. The restaurant is small and cosy, the food is tasty and everything is cooked from scratch. The owner makes an effort to get to know you and is so friendly with her daughter and other staff. Definitely one to visit and enjoy. Thank you for the lovely experience.

16/11/2025: What I most appreciate about this place is the consistency. The quality of food and service is one of the best you can get in Galway. Never once we have been disappointed in food or the atmosphere. To the point that we actually do not bother with any other places whenever we visit Galway. I especially recommend the chicken Cajun salad 👍

15/11/2025: Food here is excellent. My favorite is the Cajun Chicken Salad.
