The best restaurants

19/09/2026: We didn’t know Sligo at all, and when we saw that the restaurant was busy, we thought, “It must be good!” We never imagined it would be this wonderful! We were warmly welcomed by the manager, who was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. All the waiters were also fantastic, kind and attentive. And the burger… honestly, the best burger we have ever had in Ireland! We live in Dublin and have never tasted anything quite like it. We absolutely loved everything and made sure to tell the team how impressed we were. Congratulations to everyone involved. You’re doing an amazing job! We will definitely be back!

26/08/2026: Nicest matcha. The staff are lovely and it’s one of the few café’s I’ve been to where the cakes are as much as an attraction as the drinks are. It’s also very comfy in there, which paired with the late closing hour, is great for studying.

14/09/2026: Fantastic menu and execution! The lamb was the best I've had in Ireland and possibly anywhere. Beef carpaccio was great as were the desserts and cheese plate.

07/09/2026: Wow. Really great. Had the oyster appetizer and rack of lamb, plus dessert. Highly recommend.

04/05/2026: The food is amazing. The rooms are nice, but small. The shower isn't great. The hotel itself is really nice with loads of interesting features and a really nice terrace for drinks and lunch.

30/08/2026: This is the first time I come here and I must say the food is excellent. I had the avocado toast and the ingredients were super fresh but also well combined. Even the tomatoes on the side were gently roasted with balsamic vinegar to enhance the flavour. Well done.

15/09/2026: Staff were so friendly and inviting, nothing was a problem. A completely lovely experience from start to finish. The Food was really nice and cooked to order. Really enjoyed the experience ☺️

15/09/2026: One of my worst experiences in Dublin since moving here. Upon arrival, I waited for a waitress to seat me, unaware that it was open seating; when I approached a table and politely asked if I could sit there, the waitress started laughing and said, "Sure." I didn't quite understand and asked again if I could really sit there; she confirmed but practically tossed the menu onto the table. Later, another server took my order—I asked for a Coke Zero to go with my burger—and she simply placed the Coke on the table without a glass or a straw. After waiting a few minutes, the chef announced that there were no burgers available. I thanked them and left the restaurant. I don't expect five-star service, but at least some basic courtesy—something the staff completely lacked. Please do no go there! Do not waste your time.

17/09/2026: I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to say something about this place! 😍😍😍 Went in with friends last night and loved the place straight away. The atmosphere is so nice and relaxed, just a really lovely place to sit and have a proper catch-up. The drinks were SO good — Passion Fruit Mojito and I Pink I Love You. Both delicious! 🍹 We ordered Pil Pil Prawns, Salad, Fried Chicken Wings, Seafood Linguine and Fish & Chips… and somehow still had room for the Cheesecake 😂Everything was just so good. Like, every time another dish came out we were like, “oh wow, this is good too!” 😍And guess what? I didn’t take a single photo 😂 I was way too busy eating and chatting with my friend! Definitely going back. There’s still loads I want to try, so I’ll be back for sure. ❤️

12/09/2026: I loved everything. We ordered prawns in pil-pli sauce as a starter, followed by mussels (which were delicious—they had a coconut roquefort sauce that really enhanced the dish) and excellent seafood pasta. 10 out of 10

09/09/2026: I absolutely love going to this cafe. Although there is a small queue of people outside it's well worth the wait. People actually queue to get in it's so in demand. The food is very tasty. The chef is high class. She deserves an award for the flavour and presentation of the food. We also finish our meal with a coffee and a cake. The carrot 🥕 cake is to die for. A meal for two with coffee and cake is very reasonable in Dublin. Their coffee is only €3.30 yet most coffee shops charge almost €4. Finally the staff are very well trained and very polite. I give this cafe 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

17/07/2026: The medium coffee here means the flat white cup size but they charge you the same price as a medium coffee, almost €5. Daylight Robbery

06/09/2026: The perfect pub with a cozy layout, great food, pints and cocktails all served by friendly staff with Irish charm. On a short visit to Dublin I went back more than once. Highly recommend

16/09/2026: The owner was very welcoming and found us a table even though the place was full; there were three of us. The food was excellent and plentiful. We highly recommend it.

08/06/2026: Lovely little place in the centre of Kinsale. Brilliant sirloin, excellent scallops (with the surf and turf), nice wine selection by glass or bottle, fabulous frites, and the service is op-notch. Recommended, especially as a special occasion dinner.

26/05/2026: Great small restaurant. No reservation, but very accommodating for the two of us. Steaks were great, desert a serious - WOW! Very pleasant waitstaff. Busy so we waited - but we like busy, we know it’s good!

19/08/2026: Delish cakes, coffee has a lovely roasted flavour. People are genuinely helpful and very friendly especially attentive even when the que is out the door.

06/09/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant. If you love fish, I recommend the cold seafood platter and the oyster platter. TOP!!!
