30/11/2025: The food was delicious, the service very friendly, and the quality/quantity/price ratio is well worth it. I highly recommend it. You can choose noodles with different vegetables, meats, sauces, and spices, and they also give you a bowl of rice. It's very filling, and for €13 you'll be satisfied. If you're still hungry, you can go all-you-can-eat for just €6 more.

20/11/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Mai Fitz in Lissarda recently for a family dinner, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. As a family of four, we were looking for a welcoming atmosphere, and Mai Fitz delivered on all fronts, exceeding our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was truly exceptional. The staff were attentive, incredibly friendly, and brilliant with the children—making us feel genuinely valued and looked after throughout the meal. The food was the absolute star of the show. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The main courses were hearty and delicious, and the desserts were a fantastic finish. This is proper, comforting, and high-quality pub dining at its best. If you're looking for great food and even better service in a lovely setting, Mai Fitz is the place to go. We'll definitely be back soon!

03/11/2025: Stopped for lunch on our way back from Cork. Promptly sat down and brought water whilst we checked the menu and daily specials. The food was superb, a good hearty portion too. Excellent value to boot.

15/11/2025: absolutely obsessed with this place. the hand-pulled noodles are everything. soft, moist, springy, and so delicious. the broth is the kind that makes you pause for a second because it’s that good. i tried the braised beef noodles and wow… the beef was cooked to perfection, tender all the way through with just the right seasoning. comforting, flavourful, and honestly one of the best bowls i’ve had in a long time. will definitely be back.

15/12/2025: Great hotel in a very busy and frequented area. The room has a good size compared to any other hotels in the city. Bathroom is big and the shower is awesome. Staff is sound. Will come back although the prices are high but as always in Ireland.

10/12/2025: Always an enjoyable stay, thanks to Ava and the team. Never had an issue here. The hotel and its accompanying bar and the cafe are great. All of the staff are a pleasure to deal with and great cocktails.

09/12/2025: Lovely pub, bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lots of sports on the TV's , they catered for all. Nice snugs in it too. Pint of Murphy's was top class. Would recommend popping in if you're in Galway

07/11/2025: Australian staff member (Ronan) bashes locals to American and Canadian tourists saying “ you need subtitles to understand them” meaning the locals around Galway. I do not care what needs to be said to tourists you never resort to disrespecting local custom. Ordered from him twice at the bar and both times made me feel like he was completely uninterested in serving me because of my accent acting like he couldn’t understand making me repeats my order. After his comments with the tourists myself and my wife decided to leave as we obviously were unwelcome. Customer service and rapport is clearly not important to Murphys Bar
