The best restaurants

01/08/2026: We ate at this Sardinian restaurant because of its proximity to the hotel and the good reviews, and it didn't disappoint. It's run by a friendly and welcoming group of Sardinian guys. We had pizza, and I have to say it was very good: the dough was light, well-leavened, and easy to digest. The toppings were also good. Prices were average for Dublin. Highly recommended.

06/07/2026: We went into this place tonight and was met with an extremely unfriendly atmosphere. We were shouted at to 'get out' by some girls at the bar and also greeted by a very rude bar man. They shouted that they were closed, which wasn't the issue, but how rude they were was. They were all snickering and laughing whilst being rude. Avoid this place!

06/07/2026: Extremely rude bar staff, I would really not recommend this pub. There are many pubs in dingle offering a far better and friendlier experience. I would recommend avoiding this place as a tourist. The bar man with grey hair was particularly rude - they really need to look at this.

01/06/2026: The experience has exceeded my expectations in every dimension. The food compositions were often complex and refined, yet light and precise, and… simply delicious. The staff and atmosphere are highly professional and attentive, yet relaxed. Great interiors and surroundings. I wish I could visit you more often, and I hope I’ll be able to swing by upon my next trip to Ireland. Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience!

01/07/2026: What a brilliant traditional Irish pub! Popped in to watch the World Cup match and had a fantastic time — great atmosphere, 3 screens, and a perfect pint. Huge bonus: extremely dog-friendly with my pup welcomed inside without any hassle. The staff were excellent — friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Authentic vibe, and proper Irish hospitality. Will definitely make a point of visiting again someday. Highly recommend!

30/06/2026: Great bar, stopped here for a pint tuned into several and a whisky tasting platter, very highly recommend

09/08/2026: Good atmosphere and decor, but foundlacking in service. Had to flag service for a drink and asked for a menu, as had wanted to order food but waited and waited. Finally simply left after finishing the one drink for the takeaway.

07/08/2026: One of the best, most authentic pubs in Dublin. It's a bit outside the city center, but absolutely worth a visit. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and a fantastic selection of drinks and food!

10/06/2026: Room are beautiful; but its the staff that make it the most loveliest place to stay. So welcoming and down to earth, they couldn't have been nicer, well done 👏. Food was beautiful, just such a lovely atmosphere, loved The Mills Inn, one of the best places to stay.

03/08/2026: We're lucked out--or manifested the perfect place. Our taxi driver dropped us off right in front of Umi Falafel and we spent about 60 secs searching online for a vegan lunch spot but abandoned that idea and decided to go inside Umi. So glad that we did! The food was amazing. Perfect falafel - flavorful and not dry. Melt in your mouth good. We had the Umi burger with falafel and babaganoudh and the Schwatma wrap and a side of stuffed vine leaves and baklava. All were perfectly prepared, delicious, filling, and vegan! The staff was exceedingly friendly and even let us use their hotspot. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

02/08/2026: Amazing restaurant. The food feels like somebody sprinkled glitter onto your tastebuds. I was so excited to eat Lebanese cuisine, and it delivered. Our waitress was nice and she allowed us to eat in during takeout time. Though thankfully we finished before the shop closed. I’d highly recommend their Umi Burger. This restaurant also has a lot of Vegan options so if you’re Vegan you’d definitely enjoy this place too!

29/07/2026: My wife and I,had a lovely 23 wedding anniversary at the restaurant,the staff and management were so personal to detail,that they made the overall dining experience excellent 👍

28/07/2026: The food or service might seem okay on the surface, but the male manager’s passive-aggressive and discriminatory attitude completely ruined our evening. I was visiting with my Caucasian fiancé and my Asian family, and we spent a significant amount of money here.Throughout our visit, the manager constantly ignored the Asian members of our group. When we were leaving, he didn’t even bother to look up, staring down at his notebook while half-heartedly muttering 'Have a good evening. Did he honestly think we wouldn't notice this petty, cowardly racism? He clearly doesn't have the guts to be openly rude because he knows he'll face consequences, which makes his behavior even more despicable. A country’s reputation and hospitality are built on how visitors are treated, and this restaurant is a disgrace to Ireland's image. What is the goal of a business that makes paying customers leave feeling insulted and disrespected? Absolutely pathetic. Never coming back.

17/07/2026: My partner and I came to Mary Barry’s two days in a row 😍 - it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the crab claws and the prawn and chorizo. The service was excellent considering how huge the venue is. We will be back (even if it is travelling back from Australia 😂).

20/07/2026: We visited whilst on holiday and can say fairly that we were disappointed. It is the first time that a biriyani was very spicy, the king prawn balti was very spicy and only three prawns. The third dish was a prawn Himalayan dish and instead of prawns cheese was sent out. The chef did come out and offered a free prawn for the next night but to be honest it was all too spicy to even consider it. Then the bill came and it was twice the amount we would have paid in wales. All over very dissatisfied

07/07/2026: Pichet was our most exquisite dining experience in all of Dublin. It’s a small, cozy restaurant with exceptional service, friendly staff, a talented bartender, and absolutely 5-star cuisine! The first bite of the short rib and pasta melted in our mouths sent us to heaven. The pork was as tender as butter. The cauliflower was literally a work of art. All in vibrant yet subdued atmosphere of brilliant decorations and music that was extraordinary. Run to this restaurant!!!

27/07/2026: We came today for a meal and the place did not disappoint. The food was lovely but the waitress and waiter they need to be hugged for how welcoming they were ! We came with our son who had bad humor at the begining but they did everything to make the meal and our time lovely . Honestly in a long time I haven’t experienced such a lovely service. Thank you so much for being sooo kind and so good to us . Definitely will come back !
