The best restaurants

11/06/2026: We were able to make reservations at Hooked the same day and had no trouble getting a table. It was an easy walk from our Airbnb in the city center. The atmosphere was more modern than I had expected—not the traditional Irish seafood restaurant vibe—but I really liked it. It felt fresh, stylish, and relaxed. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive at the start of the meal, offering excellent recommendations, particularly when it came to choosing a wine. After that, though, she seemed to disappear and we didn't see her again until the end of the meal, which was a bit unusual. Other staff members checked on us from time to time, so we were still well taken care of. The food itself was very good, with the fish and chips being a standout. Overall, Hooked delivered a delicious meal in a contemporary setting and is well worth a visit if you're looking for quality seafood in Dublin.

09/12/2025: Order two large pizzas as part of a deal got one large pizza with half and half..one side was fine came as ordered the other side was theyre texas bbq pizza and wasnt edible..whoever made it had put a bucket load of bbq sauce on the pizza also with very little cheese and the same for the other large pizza which was a create your own pizza again a mountain of bbq sauce and little cheese even though i ordered double cheese on it This is not the first time over the last few months in which we have had problems with food we have ordered and are bitterly dissapointed

09/06/2026: We had a gorgeous lunch in Wilde, the setting is superb, food to die for & our server Giuditta was so nice. She even surprised me with a desert with a candle in it for my birthday. We will definitely be back again soon.

04/05/2026: Gorgeous decor but unfortunately we would not recommend it for food. Each dish seemed like a collection of well-made parts that didn’t belong on the same plate. We had the crab cakes, oysters and gnochetti crab and amalfi lemon. Extremely overpriced for dishes that do not come together. Wine was good and oysters were the best part although we have had better.

24/04/2026: Exceptional glamorous place that breathes, tastes and feels like you're in Italy. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a romantic date night or if you're a bunch of colleagues that want to dine really well and enjoy the peaceful and quiet ambience that this place offers. 10/10

14/09/2025: The most amazing place to go with your doggo. The chef asked our waiter to check what way my dog wanted his chicken cooked 😁 All the staff came over to dote on him and he was made to feel as welcome all the human customers. Pye leads the way in how our furry children should be treated. Let's not forget how amazing their food is. So so tasty. Thank you. Always a pleasure coming in.

07/06/2026: Shopfront very understated- we nearly didn’t find it. Nice upbeat feel to it though. Sourdough bread and pastries real good! Good selection of delicious tea and coffee. Organised and friendly. I recommend.

28/05/2026: The best Bruschetta Caprese I've ever eaten! The antipasto was also delicious and fresh. Very authentic Italian cuisine. I went back to Passatempo for lunch today. This time I had the Ragu Bolognese and it was simply outstanding.

26/05/2026: I’m Italian, I have been living in Ireland for 3 years so far, traveled everywhere and this it the first authentic 100% excellent Italian food. Feels like home

09/06/2026: We tried the seafood paella, salmon, and calamari, and they were all delicious. The waitress was energetic, sweet, and respectful.

08/06/2026: My wife and I ate here for lunch on a Sunday, within 30 minutes of them opening for the day. Tasty fish and chips, and the spicy prawn pil pil was amazing!!!

06/04/2026: Heating in smoking area is on a timer. It's necessary to get up , open a door and find the switch which resets every few minutes resulting in an uncomfortable experience. Ambience is good and the staff are friendly. Beer price is at a slightly higher level.

02/04/2026: Pizzas and pints are excellent and staff are friendly, food comes out quickly & you have the front bar or out the back for different vibes.

02/05/2026: We didn't enter the house, but rather opted for the outside including the buggy tour of the property, lake and Torq Falls. It was beautiful and the gift shop/deli was a very good place to eat.

23/05/2026: Had a wonderful lunch at Cavistons Restaurant. I had mixed fish, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was amazing, warm and relaxing, and the view from upstairs was gorgeous. Definitely a place worth visiting in Dublin!

18/05/2026: Not too far from Cork city centre stands a beautiful hotel on the banks of the river. Rooms are of a good size, clean and beds are very comfortable. Staff are lovely, professional and pleasant, and they can only bested by the food served. Everything from the goats cheese tartlet through to the incredible beef mains was nothing short of exceptional. To top it all off, a trip to the spa, including the outdoor heated (really warm) swimming pool. Overall, a really pleasant experience, and worth every moment.

09/05/2026: Booked the Kingsley for our son's communion and I can't fault anything.. the staff were amazing and my son even got a communion card and dessert from the Kingsley for his big day.. will absolutely be booking with the Kingsley again. Fantastic day

11/06/2026: What a great spot! We came to Mister S for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. We loved sitting in the window, enjoying the great food and the cool play list going in the background. We finished a with a cocktail, both were simply served, which I personally like, and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. We will be back :)
