The best restaurants

18/01/2026: Nicely decorated restaurants stone walls and ceiling beams,wasn't impressed by the service ! We were waiting 20mins to be even asked for our orders thats criminal !! ,no offer of jug of water or titbits to nibble on as you wait.The food itself was ok the burger is super thin you get 2 on your bun to try make it look decent,the fries were average, also what put me off returning here is the noise of the music blaring I feel like you're competing with the racket playing while trying to have a conversation.

21/12/2025: This is a great deli! Definitely a local favorite judging from the line out the door. A wide range of meats and cheeses with an assortment of condiments. Very reasonable prices. Even at what seemed the height of the lunch rush, I got my sandwich in about 15 minutes. Mostly a take away spot, though there are four tables with 2 chairs each.

17/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay at The Kingsley Hotel. Our experience was wonderful from check in to check out. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was fabulous, beds were comfortable and bathroom so clean and stocked with hygiene essentials. The TV has chromecasting so we could cast netflix to the TV and there were clear instructions on how to do so. We had room service which we could order through their online service and again clear instructions on how to do so. The food was delicious and the staff member who delivered our room service was so friendly. I especially like the little welcoming touches such as complimentary mocktails at the front desk and the welcoming display on the TV. The hotel also organised a taxi for us for the next morning which was great. It was our first time staying at The Kingsley Hotel and I can honestly say it was a most enjoyable experience. We will definitely stay there again and I would recommend to others.

20/03/2026: My daughter Ava played music there with her friend a number of times. She is a very professional accomplished musician. She got great feedback from the customers who enjoyed the musc. The Kingsley used her and never laid her or her friend for the music performance 's. This behaviour cannot and should not be tolerated by this establishment. This is iny opinion is exploitation. These girls are now dissalussioned. This behaviour is totally unacceptable. John Hallinan Ava's Dad.

28/09/2025: Surprised to arrive to find a car queuing system but in a small car park that can’t accommodate it. It was difficult to abandon it and get back out. Frustrating.

24/04/2026: We had a meal here recently and it was delicious. Great setting and the staff were very attentive. Great selection on the menu and it's very reasonably priced considering how nice a setting the restaurant is. Would highly recommend.

08/04/2026: Absolute luxury, food was devine and service on point. My only gripe was that the floor under the stand alone bath tub had not been cleaned in a while (cob webs). The grounds and gardens are extensive and accessible. Unfortunately, I did not avail of the equine centre.

20/04/2026: 10/10 place to get a good dinner / lunch in, food is fantastic and filling, portion sizes are very generous. staff are also very respectful and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back here whenever im in Dublin.

09/11/2025: Absolutely lovely place to visit, the woods surrounding the gardens are beautiful and freely accessible with lots of trails. The walled garden is lovely and they run seasonal events there too.

14/04/2026: We happened to pass by during a cruise and ended up staying. The service was excellent, and the local guests were very friendly. They even had live music! We made it back to the ship just in time. We'll be back!

18/04/2026: Came here after seeing a recommendation from Hanna and Martin (The Globe) on YouTube, and it did not disappoint! The Irish Stew was a total highlight flavorful and comforting. Paired it with a perfect pint of Guinness. The service was amazing, though the pub was quite busy, which speaks to its great reputation. A must-visit in Dublin!

12/04/2026: Food on this occasion was just not up to par, this is normally one of my go to places where you are sure of a great meal but the wagyu special was particularly tough and the hispy cabbage side was a real let down.

10/04/2026: We went Mister S for my partner's birthday. Food was amazing and they got us lovely polaroid photo! We'd love to come back there sometime soon ❤️

14/12/2025: Kebabs are awful. Doner meat burnt and the chicken is a chopped up breaded goujon.. if I wanted a chicken fillet wrap I’d have gone to a deli. Chips also not nice. Pizzas are great but I would never order a kebab or the chips again.

15/11/2025: We used to buy pizza here and it was amazing. The last two pizzas we got were mediocre and the chips were taken out of a Lidl bag. No decent Italian place would do Lidl chos. Great service, nice guys but the quality went down.

26/03/2026: Lovely tiny pub with lots of history and architecture. On 2 floors, used to be 3 but top now used for storage. Old singing barman no longer there. No music, but nice.
