01/08/2025: Deliciosa comida. Tomamos el Tofu Massaman y Enchilada con ensalada de garbanzos y envoltura de tofu. Resulta que la envoltura era un artículo frío. El amable hombre detrás del cajero automático se ofreció a cambiarlo por un artículo caliente. Recomiendo este lugar cualquier día - Cinco estrellas ⭐️

01/08/2025: Disgraceful. Sitting outside and saw the bouncer — some eastern European/russian sounding lad — straight-up refuse entry to one of a group of English lads, just because he was Brown. No reason, no explanation. Pure racism, plain and simple. Fuming after seeing that. Place should be ashamed

18/08/2025: hadn't been to Trocadero for many years but it didn't disappoint. standard of service and food were excellent. menu has lots of variety and some nice wines to also choose from. our waiter Tom was attentive without being intrusive. a Dublin jewel! we won't leave it so long before we go back.

17/08/2025: Such a lovely meal this evening in the Troc. Our waitress was unfortunately beyond acceptable, in contrast with the wonderful booking staff in advance and on arrival, tip went to them in the end. Total imbalance between the cuisines and our host for the evening, no greating or interest in how the meal was progressing, rough and generally unpleasant.

16/08/2025: Cozy place, good service (patient, kind), food was very tasty, portions were generous. We drank draft cider, which was also great. The place is cozy, Irish feeling. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

07/08/2025: We phoned ahead as we knew we were going to be getting to the area later than planned and they straight away said they would squeeze us in if we got there before they stopped serving , made it woth 15 minutes to spare and we were welcomed and seated and what followed was an unrushed lovely homecooked meal , The chowder and the thai green curry were amazing , We were heading for malin head for the night in our camper but the weather changed for the worst and they happily allowed us to park up on site so we went in to the bar for a few drinks and had a laugh with the locals, Next morning it would of been rude not to go back in for a full Irish to start the day , again superb service and food , highly recommended.

14/08/2025: Pretty decent place considering they have Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian under the same roof. We ordered their noodles which were okay. The shrimp in there were insipid. We also ordered the vietnamese prawns in tamarind sauce which were really good! We ordered the beef rendang which had potatoes but the traditional dish does not have potatoes but that's okay. Overall it was a decent experience

16/07/2025: Really disappointing. Service is just too fast , we asked for a break between our starter and main course, but that did not happen. Food was not good, in fact it was awful. Restaurant looks appealing, but we wont be back. There are far better in the area.

03/07/2025: Wow what can I say this evening I’ve gone in a different direction in this brilliant menu with so much choice. I’m a BIG believer of experimenting in the great menus Eastern Tandoori Virginia have and this evening I’m delighted with my choice. I went with the Seabass and to say I enjoyed the fabulous dish would be correct but more than that it melted in my mouth with a great flavour of tastes . The warm welcome that I received every time I enter the establishment is so welcoming and refreshing that can only make you want to come for more. I really want to award the fabulous front floor staff who always offer a friendly welcoming feeling and I also want to thank the GREAT Chef along with his kitchen Chefs on the Five Star Service they offer . Well done to the management of this great establishment I totally recommend you delicious restaurant. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

03/08/2025: Excellent food with some great combinations, might be a bit overwhelming on too many flavours though. The side orders of mash and veg are super tasty but it will get you full in no time. The staff is super nice and friendly and the prices are reasonable for this quality. Not to miss this little restaurant if you are in the area.

17/08/2025: Great pub with great food, helpfull staff and real value for money. Only downside is they don't hold tables for bookings so when you arrive if there isn't a table you need to wait and almost keep walking around to you find a table but it's a large premises and there is nearly always a table free. There was live music most nights and a table quiz one evening. Lovely interior and a great location.

17/08/2025: We can upon this restaurant by accident. The reviews were so so, but we thought we would take a risk since so many of the restaurants in the area were fully booked. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was simple but good, better than expected. It was good value for the money.

16/08/2025: Food was absolutely to die for! I ordered the seafood pasta, and it was incredible – packed with a generous variety of fresh seafood. The portion size was huge and left me more than satisfied. For starters, I had the calamari, which was so plentiful it could easily have fed two people. Price-wise, it’s mid-range – not overly expensive but not cheap either – and absolutely worth it for the quality and portion sizes. The only downside is the space. The restaurant is quite small, and they’ve made use of every inch by fitting in as many tables as possible. This means you most likely will end up sitting very close to other diners, with limited room to move around. Overall, though, the food alone makes it worth visiting!

14/08/2025: three of us ordered separate dishes, pizza, ravioli, and mine the seafood pasta. With sides of focaccia bread and baby potatoes. Unfortunately the pasta wasn’t cooked enough one thing I hate is having to bite down on almost raw pasta. It ruined my evening I ate very little finding it a struggle. It was a special occasion my son in law visiting from New York invited us out. We travelled from Kildare to the restaurant I was totally disappointed.

03/08/2025: So me and my Husband went on our Honeymoon there, as all other Cocktailbars were just too loud or full, it was the perfect idea, the cocktails were great and the shots delicious ,...and yes they have off Menu drinks too ;)... All i can say is just: you need to experience it for yourself

03/08/2025: We eat at Woodruff about once a week, and it’s one of the few places we keep going back to without hesitation. The food is always excellent — thoughtful, seasonal, and full of flavour. It’s clear the kitchen really cares about what they’re doing, but the dishes don’t feel overcomplicated. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. It’s a nice space to sit in, calm, modern, and comfortable and the staff are friendly and easygoing. You feel looked after without it being too formal. There’s a consistency to the whole experience that’s hard to find these days. It’s the kind of place you start treating like your local, even if it’s a bit more special than that.

21/07/2025: This is a must visit for any foodie in or near Dublin. Jimi has done an amazing job assembling a fantastic and knowledgeable team. Every bite is a symphony.

19/07/2025: Open kitchen. Good service. Music is quiet if you prefer more upbeat. Conversations can be a little audible with table next to you at chefs counter of private conversations are needed request a table. Food is fantastic. Eaten at 20 one stars and it’s up there with the better end. Great flavour pairings. Very strong few dishes. Favorite foie gras dish I’ve had. Intensity came more at the beginning of the 13 courses which perhaps made delicate mains harder to taste. Perhaps the Palette cleanser would have worked better before the mains. Texturally very interesting. Food is more on the delicate but complex side. One or two moments of intensity more wouldn’t go a miss but some very strong and original food. Been in Dublin two months and best restaurant I’ve eaten at yet. Wines are good and paired well but only had two glasses as went for the non alcoholic pairing. Non alcoholic pairing best I’ve had and I’ve eaten at a few top 50 and 2 stars. Service smart and clean. Chefs serve you at the chefs table. Comfortable seating. Will return and recommended. Meal starts 20:15 and lasted 2.5 hours which I’m happy with. I like long evenings in good company and very good hands. Reservation made on the day on a Thursday but restaurant was full when arrived.
