The best restaurants

28/02/2026: Was my first time visiting The Mad Egg, Dublin. I was blown away by the food, the chicken was amazing quality and the staff and service were so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place more and will definitely be back. Great area and place.

14/12/2025: Monster breakfast is a belly buster!

14/12/2025: We went two times at High Nelly’s during our 3 day trip to Dublin. Simply because once is not enough to eat the 10/10 fry up breakfast. Every single thing on the plate is so good, and the people working here are class. Friendly service with a smile, giving you the best an Irish morning can offer -what more does a person want? And that all for such a fair price. We’ll be back!

09/09/2025: The Skeff is part of the The Skeffington Arms Hotel. Food was very good. The Seafood Chowder and a couple of (non!) Stout beers from other parts of Ireland were a welcomed change of pace. IPA's, actually. One from Letterkenny, and the other from Kill, County Kildare. Other than the service being just a tad slow, it was (overall) very good. And the live music was magical this night. Okay...Not exactly magical, but covers from bands/artists that everyone knows, sung by a group of a youngish band of 3 called The Groev. They did a great job, actually.

22/03/2026: I was just about to leave this place after a couple of drinks,wanted to hit the toilet real quick and wasn't allowed to,I don't even know why.. it's 10 o'clock so it's supposed to be open for another hour, but even if they were closing this guy was extremely rude, just kept repeating to me to get out, told him I'm just about to piss real quick and leave but he didn't care at all, so I picked my stuff and left... I wanna advice everyone visiting Dublin to avoid this place, at first I didn't care about the fact how pricey they are, but after I saw how they handle their customers, I just have to tell everyone what a s...hole this really is. Never gonna come back to this bar and wouldn't recommend it even to my enemy..

04/03/2026: Best steak ciabatta! The pub is cosy and inviting, the staff are attentive, and the food was excellent. We were staying nearby for a few days and ended up visiting three times because it was that good. Definitely one to check out.

01/03/2026: A great gem of a pub with a great atmosphere, great drinks and great live music. Not too busy as well, you can actually talk!

02/03/2026: Excellent food, all three courses. Beautifully cooked and presented. The set deals make it good value for money. The service was seamless. I hope they can make it work, it's a quiet part of town but worth the visit.

07/03/2026: We stopped for a coffee and sweet treat during our Ring of Kerry travels. The coffee was tasty and hot whilst the cakes were delicious and extremely fresh! Emilie provided friendly and timely service. Fantastic spot!

12/12/2025: Perfect Place for Morning Coffee Had heard a lot about this place. Almost every one of my colleagues who come in from Tramore & Waterford City had mentioned Seagull, Tramore I believe their service, taste and ambiance is much better than their reputation

18/02/2026: Our dining experience was made truly exceptional thanks to our server, Nick. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that instantly made us feel welcome. It was clear right away that he cared about doing his job well and making sure everyone had an enjoyable time. Nick was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. He took our orders carefully, answered all of our questions with confidence, and gave helpful recommendations when we were unsure what to choose. His knowledge of the menu showed professionalism, and his patience showed genuine kindness. Even when the restaurant became busy, he remained calm and efficient, never making us feel rushed or forgotten. What really stood out about Nick was his positive energy. He checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay, and when there was a small delay with one of our dishes, he handled it quickly and politely. His sense of humour and friendly conversation added to the atmosphere and made the experience more personal rather than just another meal out. Overall, Nick turned a normal visit into a memorable one. His excellent customer service, cheerful personality, and dedication to his role made a big difference in how much we enjoyed our time. A great server can define a restaurant experience, and Nick certainly did that for us. He deserves recognition for his hard work and the outstanding service he provided.
