The best restaurants

12/08/2025: Honestly, it was great. Whether it was the starters, main courses, or desserts we had, everything was good. The setting is already superb, the restaurant has a very classy style. The servers are very friendly and do a very good job. Coming back to the food, the ingredients are more than respected and prepared correctly. No regrets when you see the bill because we get our money's worth! This restaurant is authentic in its flavors and atmosphere.

10/08/2025: The best tortellini we've ever tried. The meat was also very, very good. The only flaw was that they put us at a table next to a shelf, and the waiters were constantly taking and taking away glasses. The staff was very, very friendly; we would definitely come back.

28/07/2025: Been about two years since my visit but for the week I stayed in Galway this was my comfort spot to get away from my family. I basically ended my night here for the entire week and by the fifth night straight or so the staff asked me what was up. And I told them that Sally Longs was the closest thing I found like the small club I tend bar at in Philadelphia and it felt like home.

20/07/2025: This place has been in our area for a long time and has always been consistently brilliant. Wings are the best! Tried their spice box tonight and it was tops. Can’t fault the staff or the food

21/08/2025: Luvida Restaurant is a little bit special. The Menu offers a great choice of dishes to suit all tastes. Paired with a select wine menu leads to a great dining experience. Well recommended.

26/07/2025: Food was delicious, pasta perfectly cooked, good quality wine. All for a decent price. My only suggestion would be offering the burrata salad in two options, starter or as a platter. The portion was very, very generous (not a complain 😁), the size was ideal for sharing.

12/08/2025: We got married in the Great Southern little over a year ago. From the pre meetings, to our menu tasting evening, to the day itself, the staff made us feel like we were the most important people in the hotel. We recently revisited to celebrate our first anniversary and to say we were treated like royalty once again. We had a beautiful room upgrade, a delicious meal in the restaurant, and were treated to desserts not only to celebrate our anniversary but extra for a birthday! I don’t know how they manage to make everyone feel so well looked after. It feels like you’re the only guests staying in the hotel. You could meet multiple staff walking down the corridor and each one will have a ‘good morning’, or ask if you need help with luggage etc. It’s just pure luxury once you walk in the door. Thank you sincerely to all at the Great Southern, we look forward to many more visits in years to come.

11/08/2025: We had the most amazing stay at the Great Southern Killarney. The hotel was absolutely perfect, we had a great family room that had extra space for the kids. The hotel itself is in the perfect location near the train station and right in town to walk to shop or go to dinner. The Irish breakfast every morning was perfect with lots of healthy options or hearty depending on your taste. The staff helped us plan the most perfect stay. Brian, Evelyn, Erin and Seanie helped with every detail and arranged a private driver to Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula, set up a falconry experience and even reserved seats for us at the Celtic Steps show. The staff went above and beyond to make such an amazing trip.

13/08/2025: Amazing food, really good service. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff is really welcoming and friendly. And the food was the best part, it was affordable and yummy. I would recommend trying it out with a 10/10 rating!
