04/06/2026: Wow, this restaurant deserves all its high praise. Our dinner was the best we had in all for Ireland. Fabulous meal (highly suggest the short ribs) in a wonderful setting. Worth every penny!

From the second you walk in, the place just feels good — cozy, buzzing, and the kind of spot you accidentally stay way longer than planned. The coffee is consistently top-tier (never misses), the food is fresh and seriously tasty, and the staff are absolute legends — friendly, welcoming, and always up for a chat. It’s one of those rare cafés that actually feels like a community hub, not just a quick grab-and-go. If you’re anywhere near Smithfield and don’t go here, you’re doing it wrong. Massive recommendation ☕️🔥

13/05/2026: We went for Sunday carvery and had a lovely lunch. Very generous portions of tender beef, beautifully seasoned vegetables and gravy. Extremely tasty. Definitely recommend the food. ALSO Highly recommend having a browse around the immense ground floor which has many nooks and crannies, lovely hidden areas. All beautifully decorated with very interesting artworks and interesting objects and gorgeous stained glass windows... stunning. A great venue to satisfy the tummy and the eyes ☺️

20/05/2026: I have organised a trip with my family in total 16 people to Galway and I have found the Menlo Park. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. The location is great, it is a 30 min Walk to the city centre and there is Public transport just in front of the building. The rooms are big and very comfortable, we all slept extremely well. The absolutely highlight is the breakfast, we could have spent hours there, everything is so delicious and the team is great - they make a fantastic service. We were even a bit of melancholic when we left today. It was a super experience and next time for sure we will choose the Menlo Park.

15/05/2026: The most comfortable room I've ever slept in! Very clean and super friendly. Since we were out all day, the construction work on the hotel exterior didn't bother me at all. There are only two floors, a large elevator, a restaurant, a bistro, a 24-hour reception, and incredibly friendly staff!

12/06/2026: First it was long wait… got there at the time of collection and was then had to wait another 25 mins. Secondly they got my order wrong… ordered a pepperoni pizza but received a margarita. Very very disappointing. Was the first time and can’t say I will be in a rush back

18/05/2026: Arguably the best Italian restaurant in Ireland! Delicious food, authentic taste and ingredients - the quality of the pasta itself makes it worth a visit. Great friendly service, good selection of wines, really feels like a restaurant in Italy. Excellent!

18/05/2026: I really enjoyed my meal here, staff were very accommodating and managed to seat us even though we hadn't book (I would book though). It's an actual Italian rather than a Italian thats changed it menu to meet the needs of the tourists who pretend their Italian. Don't order the Guinness.

18/05/2026: I brought a group of 15 women from Canada, and we had such a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was warm and welcoming, and our whole group had such a great time together. And the fire was absolute perfection, especially after a cold hike up Knocknarea. 🔥 Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, we will definitely be back! ❤️
