The best restaurants

27/02/2026: Fantastic meal. I had the crab, mussels and cockles risotto to start, followed by duck with dauphinoise potato and celeriac, with rhubarb crumble to finish. Each course consisted of a wealth of different flavours. Good service too.

19/02/2026: Three of us visited mid week for a three course set menu. We shared some additional sides and a couple of bottles of wine. I don't recall exactly what we paid but it seemed very reasonable considering the quality of the food . The cadence of the service was perfect. Hosts were friendly and informative. We lingered and at no point did we feel rushed... Definitely will return. Oh and the duck was excellent. Loved the turnips .

22/02/2026: Had a gorgeous meal here last night with family. I had goats cheese for starter and monkfish for my main. Both were absolutely beautiful. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff. Welcoming, friendly, very helpful, and make a great Baileys coffee. Highly recommend La Côte.

16/02/2026: I had a fantastic experience at La Côte. The food was excellent — the portions might look small at first, but they’re incredibly flavourful and surprisingly filling. I ordered a side of potato gratin with my main, and although it arrived just 3–5 minutes late, the team handled it brilliantly. They didn’t charge me for it, and even offered complimentary desserts on the house. That level of care really shows how much they value their customers and respect their time. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. If you’re a seafood lover, I’d highly recommend this restaurant. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

19/12/2025: Excellent cinema. Nice venue, staff, good and theatres. They have some cool screenings and love theatre broadcasts also. Can't miss.

23/11/2025: All the care is clearly put into the place lookin like a designer vegan instagram coffee shop, but the service and coffee lacks. Was denied a dirty chai, even tho they sell chai lattes. For the price i paid, i was given a baby cappuccino and it tasted more like nuts than coffee. First time in years i poured a coffee down the sink. Ciarlantinis is only a minute up the road, much nicer folks, better prices and tastier coffee.

18/11/2025: The place has three floors, but it mainly operates as an art gallery. In my opinion, it should be takeout only since they don't have a restroom for customers. There's no comfortable space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They serve your drinks in paper cups, and the staff isn't very friendly. Or maybe it was just the day; I don't know. We found it expensive considering the regular coffee is actually quite small. It's quaint, but nothing more than that. The coffee I ordered was cold for my taste, although that's just my personal preference. I wouldn't go back.

01/11/2025: I love the atmosphere in this cosy restaurant which is situated in the most picturesque location possible. Wonderfully professional friendly staff, delicious food.

30/10/2025: Wonderful evening; fabulous service and delicious meals. The mussels and sticky toffee dessert were scrumptious.

11/09/2025: Good place to eat if you fly into Shannon, it's about 2km from the airport, the food is quite varied and good, it's like a motorway service area buffet, you choose what you want and pay at the till, they don't serve alcohol and the price is quite reasonable

20/02/2026: We went to Crust for a small work dinner and the service was great. But the €11 salad and butcher block pizza was shocking. See the pictures and you decide. I just seperated the salad a bit to see all the bits. You guys should do better when charging like that.

14/02/2026: A really great pub, nicely located in the center of Dublin. The Irish coffee was relatively small, but very, very delicious.

13/02/2026: My family stayed here at the end of October / start of November, and sadly the accommodation was very disappointing. The roof leaked during their stay (it was raining heavily). This was a particular issue since the carpets were soaked in a room with a 4 year old and a crawling baby, and no alternative rooms were offered or available. There are indications that the roof issue was already known: the guy who came in to look at it said ‘not again’. There were also problems in the other room with a lack of hot water. I understand that issues happen, but the response from management has been pathetic. The only compensation that was offered during the stay was a small percentage off food downstairs. My dad wrote a follow up email explaining how disappointing the stay had been, and how their response had been insufficient. Management took two and a half months to reply (apparently it was in their outbox, lol). No further compensation was offered. However, they made a point of asking us to mention in any review that the leak was now fixed! Atrocious management. Stayers beware.

22/11/2025: Not open till March, but I've experienced the service and food here on numerous occasions and it's second to none. We had a great chat with owner Martin today and a good laugh about Whorley the snail 🐌

15/03/2026: Popped in today for a last minute Mother’s Day meal with my mother and son who has a severe nut allergy. Staff were all fantastic. Our waiter Gavin was incredible and so helpful in terms of allergens. Food was brilliant. Will 100% be back

21/03/2026: Oriole is THE place you want to go for an exceptional experience combining great food and even better live music. We had the pleasure of seeing a very vivid Jazz quartet that made the floor move and clap all around. Also, we were served by Vidita, the kindest waitress we've seen in London. Will refer to friends and will come back whenever I have the chance. Thank you!

14/02/2026: We visited on Valentine’s Day evening, and they kindly seated us quickly. As visitors to Ireland, we found this restaurant on a whim and were not disappointed!
