The best restaurants

13/09/2026: Absolutely loved this place! We came from another county for a walk and randomly decided to eat here. The atmosphere was amazing, and the food was incredible. After 4 years living in Ireland, this is honestly some of the best food I’ve had — it reminded me of the taste of Ukraine. Highly recommend! 🇺🇦❤️

02/09/2026: Wonderful little place in Ballycastle. The vegan rolls and egg muffins were tasty. The fruit scone was lovely as was the Chocolate ganache tart( enhanced with the addition of their homemade jam! ) Fantastic hosts, both Mary and Geraldine.

30/08/2026: A wide range of lovely baked goods. We bought potato cakes, egg muffins, scones, brown bread, jam and chutney. All were delicious. Mary and her daughter were friendly and helpful. Not to be missed if you're in the Ballycastle area.

24/09/2026: Everything at Spitalfields was absolutely delicious and the service made the experience even more memorable. Feidhlim was a fantastic server and bartender. He was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. He remembered my name and used it every time he approached me which was such a lovely, personal touch. Wonderful food, excellent service and an all-around fantastic evening. I would absolutely return!

22/09/2026: Sadly this was a 50/50 experience. This was one of the reservations that we saved as one of our special dinners to celebrate our Anniversary while on holiday to Dublin. The food and drinks were incredible and food wise we were very pleased. Unfortunately the service was extremely lacking and the communication during service was just terrible. When we sat down I asked our server about white wine reccomendations to possibly pair with the Iberico schnitzel and was told "I can't reccomend any of the white wines because none of them are good", which was odd to us and another wine suggestion wasn't even offered and we felt rushed to order something else quickly. When we asked about how large the toast was for the bone marrow we were also told by our server that "it wasn't good value" because the toast wasn't large. Our server was almost annoyed that we were a table of two diners compared to the slighly bigger groups around us. It was an odd start to our dinner but we looked past it so we could just enjoy ourselves. After our food came we never saw our server again even though we were in the middle of the dining room. We were going to end our night at the restaurant and planned to order more cocktails and dessert but we couldn't even get a refill on our water or order another drink.We sat there long enough to research a cocktail bar to end our night at, which we inevitably did to kind of salvage the night. We aren't picky people and don't enjoy leaving poor reviews but the service experience was just so off and lacking.

01/08/2026: We went for dinner with the family for the Friday Indian Night and it was absolutely incredible. We were treated to a selection of Indian dishes, from starters and mains to desserts, and every single one was unbelievable. You can genuinely tell how much time, care and effort goes into making the food, and it really comes through in the flavour. The presentation was beautiful, the service was brilliant, and the whole evening was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

20/07/2026: Very good atmosphere and very quiet. Good service, very polite workers. And the cafe was nice and clean. I ordered a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce with tomato soup. It was very nice but the tomato soup could be more creamier and sweeter, it was a bit watery. But I still enjoyed it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

28/08/2026: The lunch food was fine and reasonably priced but as for the service, it was neither good nor bad but non-existent. The waiter was clearly untrained and inadequate.

18/08/2026: This place is beautiful. It is located in the center of town, up one flight of stairs. Half of the cafe is outside on the roof top like a nice little garden. There is also a small outdoor area on the roof that is half inside in a room. We thought it was magical to be in the center of town, but still in a beautiful outdoor area. However, if the weather is bad, you can sit inside. We will be back.

20/05/2026: This cafe was such a pleasant surprise. The BBQ pulled chicken sandwich I ordered was perfectly seasoned, juicy. My sister went for the Italian and it was equally impressive. The coffee was excellent as well, which made the whole meal even better. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the ambience had that cozy, inviting feel that makes you want to linger. A fantastic experience overall.

31/08/2026: Was really excited for my visit to this restaurant but unfortunately was a little disappointed. It was a Sunday evening but the restaurant was fairly busy, only 1-2 free tables, but they only has one staff member on the floor which mean getting attention and refills of water was difficult. When we ordered our starters came but no wine, we did ask and we were told it was coming. When it did arrive from the disorganised bar (loads of dirty glasses just sitting there), there was no apology or acknowledgement that we were finished our starters when it arrived. Also the wrong starter turned but although they did take this off the bill. I ordered a dish from the Wok section and was asked if I wanted Jasmine rice, I said yet but it turned up with noodles - I didn't mention this to the waitress as at this point I was kinda over the experience. My partner ordered the Red Seafood curry which was very tasty and served in a coconut, the extra was served in a desert bowl which did look like a bowl is sick - very strange and I don't think the Coconut as a serving dish is actually practical for serving. My starter crispy prawn dumplings was very nice. Overall for the price of the food/wine I expected a better service experience. Unfortunately while some of the food was good I don't think I'll be booking a return visit.

26/09/2026: Excellent place, very good quality fish and the chips are a real treat, I recommend it, very good place.

22/09/2026: I went there to try the fish and chips. The cola in the picture is very different, I recommend it. It appeals to us, but I can't say it was amazing, but maybe it's because we come from a coastal country. Try this cola, it's quite good. Also, as you can see in the photo I took from the restroom, hygienic products are offered free of charge. Very good, it's usually very crowded, the place is very small and limited, they don't let you in without a reservation, but I went alone so they were helpful. I don't know if it was peak hours, I went around 4:30 PM, you should still make a reservation.
