02/07/2026: Decor a bit tired for a gastro-pub but the food, drink and service was fabulous. Would definately go again if visiting Cork!

06/08/2026: This is a very well kept manor, but in Ireland (in my experience) that's a rather common thing. But the estate is just wonderful and huge and the gardens are grand. There are a lot of places you can have a walk, have a picnic, or just take in some of the scenery. It's beautiful all together. The restaurant / coffee shop is nice as well. It serves as a great spot for coffee and ice cream. Recommend!

06/08/2026: Didn't get to see the house bc our stop was really short so I spent it in the gardens as I didn't want to be the one holding up the bus. Garden are gorgeous.

05/07/2026: Had a wonderful evening in Hannigans with visitors from Chicago. Excellent and super friendly service. I had the sea bass shown ❤️

05/07/2026: Excellent food, much more refined than I was expecting at first. The steak was very nicely done, with plenty of vegetables. The shepherds pies were superb and the vegetable curry was excellent as well. Desserts were really good as well. Super fast and kind service.

19/07/2026: Played it recently not in great nick ,staff in restaurant were great, can't say the same about the starters caddymaster,,got a much friendlier reception at the other top courses down there, greens very slow ,sand in bunkers varied each hole 1 caddie was good other less than useless and didn't want to be there ...vastly overrated/ priced .

08/08/2026: So totally GF and vegetarian friendly. I had a GF scone. It.did.not.lose.crumb.at.all. It let me butter and jam and put whipped cream on it. Heaven.

07/08/2026: We spontaneously decided to have a light lunch here. Our table on the first floor was cozy. Overall, the Fig Tree is rather small and lively. It seems there are also many local regulars. Everyone knows each other by name. The "soup of the day" (pumpkin and sweet potato) with bread and butter was really delicious. So were the chicken nuggets with fries. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. The prices were also reasonable.

11/07/2026: Staff were very kind and accommodating, the room seats were comfy and the karaoke UI and kids were really good quality!!

11/07/2026: This is my first time coming to this karaoke bar, the service was exceptional as we were given our drinks quickly despite the amount of stairs. The waitress’ were very accommodating and were helpful, thank you!

30/04/2026: Outstanding — We visited Quinlans Fish Shop in Killorglin today with a group of 27 students and teachers from Kerry and Alicante. From the moment I called into Joe to plan the visit, nothing was a problem. I was able to keep him updated on the progress of our day and give him an estimate of our return to Killorglin. He stayed in contact with us throughout the day, accommodated our changing timeline without any fuss, and had fresh food ready and waiting when we arrived. What really stood out was how Joe & Quiinlans handled four members of our group who are coeliac and required gluten-free fish and chips. Joe managed this seamlessly, ensuring nobody was left out or compromised. That kind of attention to dietary needs in a busy fish shop is rare and very impressive. The real testament to the quality of the food is this: every single person in our group of 27 ate every last bite they were given. That speaks for itself. This is our second time bringing a large student group to Quinlans, and it won't be our last. Huge credit to Joe and all the team — you made a logistically tricky part of our day completely effortless and genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommended to anyone in County Kerry, whether you're a local or passing through.

26/04/2026: The staff were very friendly, and the owner would even come out to chat with customers. The food quality was excellent; we ordered Sea Bass, Cod & Chips, and Lemon Sole, all of which were fresh and delicious. The price was a little high, but it didn't disappoint us at all, and we enjoyed a very tasty meal.

18/07/2026: Avoid this place, the brazilian "security" guy there is very rude, he have an attitude, not good for security. I always use to go to this place to have few pints but today I found a security guy who didin't let me in.. He was very rude, but I didin't want to create problems so I let it slide. Anyway, -1 loyal customer.
