06/02/2026: Gone downhill since the last time I was there. Food dry, bland and overpriced. How are pancakes more expensive than a full Irish? Staff totally disinterested too.

Boris really made my experience at Mr fox something above standards. By the way, the blue fin tuna was one of the best I ever tried Thank you so much for everything

16/10/2025: Highly overrated. I found this place in Google maps as we were visiting Cork and desperately looking for a quick lunch. We were the only people who ordered food at that moment, however, it took a while to get it. It looked like there was only one stressed-out lady at the counter and the kitchen. Tea and coffee came quite fast, but we waited for pancakes and omelette around 20 min. Pancakes were hard and cold inside and omelette with "salad" meaning rocket with two blobs of ketchup. And THE WORST: I found LARGE pieces of EGGSHELL inside.

18/03/2026: Terribly disappointing. Had the isabella pizza to takeaway and it had next to no mozerella on it. It wasnt sliced properly so was tricky to eat. For the price and based on the pics on website, you'd expect much better.

08/01/2026: The food is a little pricey but well worth it! I've eaten a lot of Chinese and Thai over the years but all the food here really impressed me. We couldn't get enough of the red curry, and the crispy duck was just exceptional. Elegant atmosphere and great service as well. Don't miss it in Kenmare!

29/11/2025: Duck, with satay sauce - best we have ever tried. Service - top 5! We have not had reservation, however lady at reception made arrangements and made an offers for us. Lovely place for dinner and time with your relatives.

15/02/2026: Called in for food was left waiting at the door for over 10mins . Not any acknowledgement from staff they just kept walking passed . Then stopped a staff member to ask about food and table. She said would be back over in a sec to look after us , 5 mins later we left . Shocking lack of service .

20/02/2026: Excellent meal in McHugh's Raheny this week. Daube of Beef and Chicken Supreme were very tasty. Striploin steak, onions, sauce and fries with a glass of wine for €28 is super value with high quality and delicious. Very friendly service from the 3 staff looking after us, really made the night special.

14/02/2026: All good, except when we needed salt. Not able to get any attention, I had to go out to reception /waitress to be told " take it from another table".
