30/09/2025: This was a last minute booking for dinner. Food was excellent and good service, we will be back again.

09/11/2025: The Caesar salad was delicious, the cinnabons were divine, and the latte and chocolate were excellent. The service was polite and fast. The price was good.

19/11/2025: Incredibly warm and welcome service and atmosphere. The cafe was busy with locals which is always a good sign. I had the vegan mac and cheese which was the best I've ever had.

12/10/2025: Superb local independent coffee shop with hot beverages, sandwiches and treats (looking for another word that covers rocky roads, rice Krispy buns etc and it wouldn't come to me). Lap sells Irish soft drinks, hot sauces and other locally made goods. Great socialist ethos behind the place too.

30/11/2025: Asked the lovely assistant to give me a selection of 5 Irish cheeses for a cheese board and couldn’t be happier. The cheese was amazing as was the assistant and shop itself. Highly recommended and while they have lots of international cheeses why would you bother when they have at least 10 regional Irish ones and the 5 I bought were superb.

28/11/2025: Can't believe I'm actually reviewing a cheese shop on google, but this place was so lovely I had to. Great produce and a really friendly, passionate staff member who spoke about the cheeses with such love and knowledge that I was very sad that I don't live locally & can't be a regular customer.

04/10/2025: We were looking for an authentic Irish breakfast and we found it. The place is simple, but neat and clean, the service is fast and friendly. Due to its location, it is mostly visited by locals. The Irish breakfast was very delicious, we also got a large pot of delicious tea. The prices are friendly for Dublin. I can only recommend it.

12/10/2025: Such a cosy spot with very friendly service! The seafood chowder and fish n chips were both delicious…sadly they were sold out of the seafood platter after a busy Sunday - so we’ll gladly return to try it another evening!

11/10/2025: Love this place, Authentic Howth, authentic people. Travel there at least once a month for the nicest chowder ever. Got served tonight by the lovely Aobhínn. Efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced. Can't recommend enough

10/11/2025: Four bartenders were behind the bar and spent about four minutes gossiping while I waited. Nobody took my order. Then they turned around and walked away for a while. Finally, the one who had made eye contact with me earlier came back and took my order. Imagine how bad the service was! Never back again!!

28/09/2025: The Strawberry Field restaurant made an extremely pleasant impression on me. This is a place where you want to return again and again. The food here is not just delicious - it is prepared with soul and love for detail. Each dish has its own unique taste, which pleasantly surprises, and the portions are quite generous. The service is at a high level - the staff is always friendly, attentive and ready to help with the choice of dishes or drinks. The atmosphere of the restaurant creates a feeling of home comfort, but at the same time this place has a special style and character. It is ideal for both a quiet lunch with family and for meetings with friends. The good price-quality ratio makes this restaurant even more attractive. I believe that The Strawberry Field is one of the best places in the area where you can get real pleasure from food, service and atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting!

14/09/2025: Service and setting very nice, disappointing otherwise.

25/11/2025: Came in to eat for two different evenings during a short stay with my son. The food was simply wonderful, excellently cooked, and neither cooked to quickly or had us waiting hours. The staff were the best I've come across in a long time. Would recommend to anybody travelling to Westport.

05/11/2025: It’s the decent restaurant for seafood dishes with good quality of the ingredients. They are staffs providing the good service. The atmosphere is cozy and fine dining. It’s lovely place in Westport with a good spot.

08/10/2025: Cheeky bat with belgian and local beers. Pretty much can find any type of beer you want. Walls are littered with bottles which add to the decord

21/10/2025: Absolutely incredible food, bags of flavour, really friendly staff, a must if you're in the area. I'd highly recommend the spatchcock chicken and seafood linguine. We were fortunate enough to get a table after a short wait with no booking, but it's popular, and I think we may have been lucky, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you're able to.

17/11/2025: Cute little place with nice food. We got simple tomato soups with brown bread that hit the spot. Pricier but not unexpected given the tourist activity on the island. Nice to hear Irish spoken at nearby tables.

05/11/2025: This place was delightful. The two ladies working there were so nice. I didn't have much time and they boxed everything up for me. My stomach was so upset from the ferry but there tomato soup settled it.
