27/01/2025: Location, hot chocolate, food and service great, however: 1. One way to pee off regulars is to not be open at a day/time one would expect. I recently intended to meet someone there and she rang me to say it’s closed.
2. Scones served in rounded plates pasta/salad bowl type dishes, makes it very awkward for cutting/buttering etc, flat plate better.
3. Metal chairs not very comfortable.
14/01/2025: Went to see family and friends we had breakfast in this place the breakfast and cakes were amazing don't miss out 😋😋❤️

10/06/2024: Popped in here the other day and was greeted by lively helpful staff. Roast pork was superb and generous serving. Husband lived his dish too. Got my arm twisted for dessert lol. Lovely clean toilets. What a gem of a place when you want something other than pub food. Go there

31/01/2025: We stayed here on the 24th & 25th of January. There was plenty of parking on arrival , we checked in with a lovely woman on the front desk who explained everything to us and even made sure to turn down the heating in our room which was very much apricated. Our room was fantastic very modern and clean with a super comfy bed. Breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold options. We ate in the restaurant on the second night it was fantastic very tasty , quick service and affordable. All the staff were super helpful and polite during our stay but Nicola & Sarah on the front desk and Dan in the bar really stood out to us. Thank you all for a lovely weekend we will be back. 31/01/2025: Popped in for a quick bite on a Saturday evening. Place was quiet. Waited for a few minutes to be seated, but were told we would have to wait for a table. (About 50% of the tables were occupied). So decided to get a drink while waiting. Waited for 5 mins at the bar while 3 or 4 servers chatted and milled around. But no-one bother to take our order. Needless to say, we won't be back!

15/02/2025: Nice place to eat. Love the staff. Food is simple done extremely well. Breakfast menu in particular. If possible if they could change their cleaner to a non bleach product for people for asthma as it can be a trigger. But the place is very clean and well taken care of.

31/01/2025: Food prices recently shot up. Some items 50% more expensive now. Won't be ordering food there again.
Edit to add reply: Not all prices up 50% but one example is a pack of chocolate buttons was €2.95 few weeks ago and is now €4.50. that's more than 50% increase.
A jug of cordial is now €4. Most expensive I've seen anywhere.
A side of coleslaw was €2.50 and I was shocked when it came out in tiny paper cup, then ones you use for a squirt of ketchup. Literally a small spoon of coleslaw, 10g at best for €2.50.
I would like to say it is a great play centre, and will still come here, but just wont be having more than a coffee.
I just think these increases are ridiculous.
