28/05/2026: Clean. Lots of different options for the number of beds in each room. Great view of the bay and cathedral

12/05/2026: Very good accommodation. Nice Chinese restaurant within the hotel. Easy walk to the harbour. Rooms were quite clean and the person on reception is friendly and gives local recommendations. We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved our stay.

08/03/2026: This was a busy spot for Sunday lunch. Had Roast lamb and roast beef and two Thai curries. The Thai curries were too hot, too salty and bore no resemblance to the tastes that one would associate with a Thai curry. The ladies were too reluctant to make a big deal other than point out that it was not good. The lady on the staff said that it was unfortunate and that was it. No attempt to alleviate the situation with a coffee or free dessert, just tough luck that you didn't mention it in time and it could be swapped. This is not the way to win good reviews or build a reputation. In these days of online reviews the dissatisfied customer tells 1000 other people.

21/11/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at 51 Cornmarket tonight, and the entire experience was world-class, especially the service. We were running significantly late due to unforeseen circumstances, but the owner, Anne, was absolutely fantastic and incredibly accommodating. ​Anne stayed in close contact with us while we were en route, kindly sent us the menu ahead of time, and even took our order so the kitchen could prepare our meal while we traveled. This level of communication and care is truly rare and saved our evening! ​Once we arrived, the setting and atmosphere were warm, intimate, and absolutely on point. The food was nothing short of fantastic—every dish was delicious. The wine selection was also superb. ​Thank you, Anne, and the entire team at 51 Cornmarket, for turning a stressful evening into a wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommend!

11/03/2026: Not a cafe anymore. Seriously need to update your Google entry to prevent people turning up to be disappointed.

19/02/2026: Please be advised, this is no longer a cafe! Tried to visit in Feb26 and it only does interiors. I’m sure the interiors are lovely. The lady in the Top forecourt across the way said the cafe is gone now.

04/06/2026: On the 24th April, I had went with family to have there somosa chaat, the samosas were still frozen in the inside and wasn't thawed out properly and it was all covered in too much yogurt to mask it. We left upset, knowing we didn't celebrate properly and it was a waste Today 4th June, I went with friends to give it another chance, and tried there Arabic shawarma, it was full of chicken and potatoes only that made my stomach hurt. Staff were too occupied and I didn't have the time to find the manager as I felt too sick and went home quickly I hope to get some refund or credit, especially now that I have the receipt and proof of purchase on my phone when I had the other meal on April.

23/05/2026: Very pleasant restaurant, great space, the food was truly amazing, very tasty, and the service was also very good. I definitely recommend the wonderful food. I want to go back to try other incredible dishes I saw on the menu.

18/12/2025: Have eaten breakfast here on a couple of occasions and it was mostly quite good, the last time however not so good. Nicely situated along the canal. When it comes to payment it is cash only which is quite inconvenient. Don’t get much chat from the staff but they seem like nice people.

15/04/2026: Simply the best in limerick luigi runs a great ship for many years and can be found battering his fresh cod most days a must for fish and chip lovers

10/03/2026: best fish and chips in limerick. staff are so friendly and nice and and the place is immaculate. delicious food only 8 euro for fish and chips,definitely come here while in limerick.

10/03/2026: One of my favourite places to eat in UL. They offer a great lunch buffet and the bar has a nice selection of different beers on tap. It’s an especially good spot when the weather is nice, as you can sit outside and enjoy the sun. Definitely a place I keep coming back to.

07/06/2026: Had such a great evening there! The three of us all went for a set menu that was more than generous and left us stuffed, for a very reasonable price. Every dish was special and tasty, especially the starters, and also the pizzas and desserts. Nice service and a great atmosphere it's an instant favourite in Blackrock now. Some people complaining about tap water being charged for, but actually, you do get filtered (much better tasting and I'd say, healthier) water, also sparkling, if you like, for 2 euros a person, and as much as you want. I drink quite a lot of water so I think this is a reasonable enough deal.

04/06/2026: If I based review on Michelle our server 10 stars but basing it on food I can't. Went for a Sunday drive and stopped in here, lovely pub and as stated Michelle our server excellent but the food was a letdown. The beef was tough as was the pork and the veg tasted stale. 15/05/2026: Positive experience. The staff war super nice, manly the lady manager, really welcoming. The only thing is that the teapot 🫖 had a leak so it poured some water on the table. For the rest good vibe and style.
