14/04/2025: My favorite spot in Cork. The atmosphere of this place is unmatched, and they have the best staff around. I always come here for my football matches, they always try to put them on for me even though they're international matches. Food is amazing- especially the dadinhos!! They also have corona on tap which I've yet to find at any other Cork bar. Have a great pub quiz and music bingo hosted here too. It's really the place to be.

01/04/2025: It is centrally located and transportation is easy. The place is friendly, casual and usually crowded. The food is above average. The stew is just like you know.

12/04/2025: I passed through this bar going to the theatre. The place is part of the "Temple Bar" area. The place was full, and the patrons seemed happy. However, it's not my 'kind of place', i.e.,quiet, comfortable, and amenable to chatting.

22/03/2025: A really fantastic little place. Cosy, relaxed and the food is super tasty, beautifully cooked and presented at very good prices. Have been back a couple of times since discovering it a month ago. Front of house staff are very friendly and efficient. Will be back again to work my way through the menu. A lovely spot.

21/03/2025: Just had a lovely and cozy dinner here for a Friday evening. Food portions are massive and that potato gratin was to die for! I had the monkfish special which was cooked really nicely and the sauce is amazing. Would defo come back again for tasty food and their friendly staff.

31/03/2025: We had a great dinner. Ordered pasta dishes for our mains and they're absolutely delicious! The staff are polite and friendly.

29/03/2025: Food was lovely, we sat outside as a group of 12. We found the 10% service charge a bit high for the service we felt we had. The waiter was very unhelpful and not overly warming. Which wasn’t the birthday dinner we had expected. When I asked to remove the charge the waiter said it’s a requirement. Not happy with the experience which is a shame as the food was lovely and the restaurant was scenic.

23/02/2025: Marked low for food since it isn't a focus of the place and is a simple offering. This is the wine bar of Cork! Others exist but lack all the charm and character of here!! The staff are super helpful for those who only know wine as red or white, and the selection is big and evercharging. A great and comfortable spot and I recommend it as a place worth being in!

17/04/2025: Probably the worst dinner I've ever had in a restaurant.... the first warning sign was when the food arrived to our table 2 minutes after we had ordered, i.e. a clear sign it had not been cooked fresh. Food was lukewarm at best. I got the vegan burger which was completely inedible - it was rock hard and burnt to a crisp. My dad got the beef burger which had a horrible grayish tint to it. Sent back the vegan burger, to which the manager reacted with absolutely no surprise at all, which makes me wonder if this happens on a frequent basis! He was not in any way apologetic and didn't seem to care at all. The only positive in an otherwise terrible dining experience was the lovely waitress who served us. Avoid at all costs.

21/03/2025: Got ourselves halloumi sandwiches - very very good, the price is also quite affordable (8 euro). The portion might not be too big but for it’s perfect for a quick meal. The service is very nice, the place is clean and the vibe is nice, if you’re hungry and in the area I really recommend.

08/04/2025: I like the ambience of this place, staff are very cool, professional and kind. My therapy dog was allowed to accompany me here on Saturday, staff dealt with the request in a very professional manner. I will return here again.

06/04/2025: Got a burger deal for 17.99 When I went to till I was charged 21 euros. For a burger small portion of chips and a drink it seemed a bit much for me. It was tasty but the price was off the scale. Really disappointing

13/03/2025: it's a bright busy store. has everything for garden and d.i.y. cafe upstairs. staff are very helpful and pleasant.flooring store across the path from it very helpful staff there too. they have a toilet in the main store which is good for customers. as always toilets need an upgrade and some attention.

25/01/2025: We have a family lunch here on New Year 2025. Great portions of food and very delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will come back again for sure. 👍

05/10/2024: Mega tasty and fresh. Super friendly staff. Another restaurant that I would like to take home with me. So if you're looking for a restaurant in Donegal, I can only recommend this one.
