13/08/2026: My family and I always order an Indian from here! I usually order the Butter Chicken Masala or sometimes Chicken Tikka Masala and they're both lovely! We also get Egg Fried Rice. The staff are lovely and it's lovely to dine in. The menu is fantastic with lots of options!
15/06/2026: A lovely and quiet place with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was authentic, delicious, and served in generous portions, offering great value for money.
One of the best things is that there's no need for a reservation, making it an easy choice for a casual meal. If you're looking for tasty food, good portions, and a peaceful dining experience, this place is well worth a visit.

11/09/2026: Quaint cafe right across the street from thd ocean. Excellent view. The servers c were very friendly and corteous. Good coffee. I had a full irish breakfast. The black pudding was delicious as were the pork sausage and beans. My wife ordered a porridge scones with fruit, she loved it.

05/09/2026: When we took public bus here and got off we thought we were walking into a sketchy part of town.. don't despair, it's walking distance to south side Dublin and depending on how far you like to walk even part of the north side Dublin. Has a pub connected which plays music.. unfortunately not aomuthentic Irish music.. might have to go rural to find that.. we found it in small cities.
Breakfast was excellent except they ran out of breakfast tarts.
We would return...
29/06/2026: We stayed here recently as we were going to a concert in Marlay Park. Location was convenient for us as it was a 15 minute taxi drive. Hotel had secure parking and there was plenty of it which is always a bonus. Really friendly staff on reception and in the bar. Rooms were ideal for us and beds very comfortable, only issue was the room was uncomfortably warm at times, the air con would not cool the room down. Breakfast was ok. A nice quiet hotel.

17/08/2026: 2nd time this weekend ive eat in supermacs 1st in galway on the headboard road and the 2nd in donegal town and both times they for got my order an waited 25 minutes not impressed this time 1st time ive had any problem like this an for it to happen twice in 2 different stores on the same wk

20/08/2026: The tomahawk was good but not great. I ordered a medium well but it was closer to well done.
Staff were great and helpful but food was a bit slow to come out maybe because it was a Saturday evening and was busy. There was a 2-man band performance which is great, so we didn’t mind the wait.

I love this pub and its location. I regularly stop on walks through the city for a pint or two. I normally sit outside with my dog to enjoy the good weather. This evening it wss a bit chilly so I went inside to be informed that the pub was not "licensed" to have dogs inside. What a load of nonsense.
Lucllkily there are other pubs who are genuinely dog friendly in Cork city.
