The best restaurants

22/05/2026: This is a great little chipper. Called in as I was passing through Oilgate. When I ordered, I was surprised to see they were cooking the fish and chips fresh. I'm so used to seeing chippers in Dublin with precooked fish piled up,waiting to be dunked in hot oil. Not in PJs. I had goujons of fresh cod and chips, and were they good. No they were excellent. Cod was particularly good. Best ever. This is a great place to stop by. There is no seating inside, but they have tables outside. It's family run and it shows. Staff are so friendly & efficient. Btw, I also had a Wexford creation called a rissole. You should try it. It's really tasty. Definitely calling here again.

13/06/2026: Fantastic pub in the heart of Temple Bar. A quintessential Irish atmosphere, an excellent selection of craft beers, and very friendly staff. The food is also truly delicious: generous, well-prepared, and high-quality dishes. A welcoming and lively place, perfect for a lovely evening in Dublin. Highly recommended for both a good pint and a delicious meal.

13/06/2026: It was quiet and we were looking for a nice table with a view upstairs but told it was for eating only. I understand this rule when it is busy. One lady was really nice, another barman was more interested in chatting to his colleague than serving. Decent Guinness.

16/05/2026: Staff were not allowed to turn on audio of munster game. Said it was policy. Big rugby match watched in silence despite the majority of customers watching the the game

07/06/2026: I went there the food was great but they kept screaming for no reason ,not yelling at eachother, no words just screaming. What is their problem.

10/04/2026: My fries were raw and the garlic bread was undercooked, I paid 29€ for terrible food,only the pizza was ok. I do not recommend.

09/06/2026: An absolute gem of a Brewery/Museum. Gained a lot of insights into the making of Guinness. The tour was well structured and it ends with a lovely pint at the bar on highest floor. Amazing food served at the restaurants as well.

25/05/2026: Great place for a coffee or a small morning snack. Staff is amazing and super kind, there are enough seats for everyone and wall plugs for you to charge your device. If you gonna have your coffee around this area, just go there. Great prices especially if you are on budget, Latte was 3.7 € and all the snacks are 3€ . Highly recommend!

28/05/2026: Outstanding pizza and the best mozzarella sticks we’ve ever had. Friendly staff, great location and warm atmosphere.

07/06/2026: I visited Hannigan’s on a Harley tour around Ireland with 24 other bikers. I got in touch in advance and got the booking set up. Catriona, the General Manager, was so helpful and understood exactly what we were looking for. She communicated brilliantly throughout and was always friendly and down to earth! In the evening of our meal, we were looked after by Brendan and Dave who were exceptional. I have genuinely never seen service like it anywhere in the world. They were attentive, friendly, polite and did everything they could to make sure we were all looked after. I cannot praise you all enough for our visit, we all had a great time. THANK YOU!!

09/06/2026: Daata is the go-to place for Pakistani cuisine. The atmosphere is inspired by Pakistani culture. The food we ordered was flavorful, authentic, and reminiscent of South Asian flavors. It is the best spot for celebrating any occasion or event.

11/06/2026: Exactly what I was looking for in a Dublin coffee shop. We headed there for a quick coffee, tea and bite to eat before our full day of exploring. We were able to get a seat at the window, even though it was busy. The pastries were delicious, the breakfast sandwich with Irish bacon, sausage and bacon jam was amazing. Service was quick.

16/05/2026: A lively restaurant. A constant flow of people. The service is efficient and, despite the stress, manages everything with ease and appears relaxed. Despite the hustle and bustle, we were seated at the bar for a few minutes without a reservation. Here we could browse the menu and order our first drinks. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious.

06/05/2026: Perfectly adequate meal for us who are not geared towards golf in a golf town. Server was new and eager to help.
