27/05/2026: Hopefully it's sunny in waterville when you arrive as its a beautiful place and looks stunning on a nice day. The villa is so welcoming, not just for your stay but for food and drink. The atmosphere 👌. Food is reasonably priced and is amazing. And make sure your there for the weekend as the band on a Saturday night was perfect

25/12/2025: Really poor service for a second time at this branch, last time we ate here the waiter left the food on the table with a grunt and no explanation of what the dish was or who it was for. This time it was a take away order with the staff member completely ignoring our presence for several minutes whilst they continue to wash dishes at the counter. Never again. Do better.

31/07/2026: The food was absolutely amazing. I am not good at spicy food, and it was rather spicy, but worth every bite for the taste. And the service was amazing. This is definetly a hidden gem!

27/07/2026: Very nice old hotel. Lots of character. Very nice staff and great breakfast. If you like modern hotels this is not for you but if you like old world charm even if a little rustic then this is the place to stay. Great location in the heart of Ennis walking distance to everything the town has to offer however, inside the grounds it is quite secluded and feels private. Our room was great, huge with A/C and if if the decor was a little dated it was still great.

22/06/2026: Our stay at this hotel has been amazing. The staff is incredible, especially Colin at the poets corner bar made our experience top notch. We really appreciate him and all the staff.

12/09/2026: Update: not only the pizza, the sandwiches are a must! Their focaccia is the best!! The pizza is delicious. I am Italian and was really impressed. At first I thought the owner was Italian too, then they explained that they visited Italy so many times that they wanted to recreate the real Italian pizza. I have to admit that everything was delicious, including the cannolo, fabulous.

27/08/2026: For lunch, the focaccia sandwiches are very good, all made fresh. The pizzas too are really tasty, pretty good selection too. The staff are brilliant, very courteous and know their trade despite their young age. Would recommend

03/09/2026: Lovely staff, coffee, and food! Best decaf I've tasted in any cafe so far, usually they're bitter and burnt tasting, but it's really good here, just genuinely a lovely coffee. They have multiple vegan gluten free options for cakes which is something I very rarely see and was super happy with. I was really pleasantly surprised with the cakes, they tasted lovely, texture was great, and they weren't dry at all, and I don't see that often for gluten free stuff!

19/09/2026: The food itself was quite good, but the service was terrible. The older woman who seemed to be the manager was incredibly rude and condescending. When we asked if we could share the dish, she said “We don’t do that here outside of Korea.” That was quite ironic, considering I’m Korean myself and have been living outside Korea for nearly 10 years. We didn’t make an official complaint because we didn’t want to make a fuss, but her attitude came across as extremely presumptuous and dismissive. Her attitude felt xenophobic and unnecessarily patronizing toward a fellow Korean, which made the entire experience very uncomfortable. I’m not entirely sure if she was actually the manager, but she appeared to be older than the rest of the staff. This is a restaurant that respects foreigners. I would like to share it, but I asked if you could leave out the sauce, and here it is. It's not a sharing culture. ...and so on. (I'm from the UK, by the way...;) Also, the food came out extremely late, they missed a few items from our order, and even though we clearly ordered, they served us the missing items and then told us that we hadn't ordered. The part-time staff working with her were incredibly kind and friendly, but the main server—the one who seemed to be the oldest or the most senior there—was... If she had lived abroad for a long time, she would have actually wanted to treat Koreans better... I really just came here for a short weekend trip because I wanted to eat Korean food, so it really hurt my feelings. I hesitated a lot because I was worried I might look like a difficult customer, but I feel like I have to leave a review, so I am posting this.

17/09/2026: Had a delicious meal in this atmospheric restaurant. Wonderful flavors and fantastic wine. Finished off with a creative and visually stunning pavlova. Combined with very hospitable staff, my evening couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.

16/09/2026: The food was delicious; you won't be disappointed if you come for the food! Although we didn't have a reservation, the staff still did their best to seat us. The wine list was excellent, and the glasses were very clean. Definitely a restaurant worth trying!

07/09/2026: You need to get a ticket to see a garden and their restaurant is reservation only. The farm shop has great optipns for local products I've never seen in Ireland.

06/09/2026: Exceptional restaurant in Cashel, different dining experience than traditional pub good. The place itself is beautiful, welcome drink at the entrance. Dishes well prepared. Lobster bisque amazing, the house bread too. Starters were fine (I think they put different mushroom to the pasta as it was stated in the menu, but was good anyway). In general, well worth the money. Just that evening was a bit noisy, as there was a bigger table celebrating, so that was the only negative thing.

08/09/2026: Food was delicious and the owner is very hospitable. Their curry is good overall, not just by small town standards. Also great vegetarian options. Highly recommend!

05/09/2026: Indian food was amazing. The way they cooked lamb was too delicious. Special Recommendation - Lamb chilli masala, Chicken chilli masala, king prawn biryani. Service too great. If you are going for rings of kerry, and looking for indian food, do visit. 🙌🏻 Thanks Mohammd Bro for great service.

20/07/2026: We loved this pub. Locals hanging out, messing with each other and the bar team was great. Got to have beers that are not available where we live. Thanks to the employees that were working this night. You made our day.

03/07/2026: Just finished our stay here; great place! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, food is great, and, most importantly, amazing water pressure in the shower! It was lovely staying on the green in Blarney and it all had a friendly small village vibe. I look forward to staying here again, thanks all!

06/09/2026: I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I found butchers string and a hair on the same plate, when I informed the server, he told me "oh, that's the lucky one" the sommelier was an absolute pain to listen to and when I asked him a question, he looked at me with distain and literally walked away . I've been to a few Michelin starred restaurant, I would go back to them all , except this one.. Just go to Aniar in Galway city. You don't feel like a burden on them.
