18/04/2025: We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. The cod was wrapped in nori which was so creative and the pate was awesome-made at the restaurant.

08/06/2025: Was here for brunch today and was suprised by the low quality after hearing good things about the place. Ordered an americano with milk and the glass they handed me with the milk in it was so filthy it was disgusting. The hash dish my other half ordered was drenched in a pool of oil, so much so she couldnt finish half of it and the chorizo was poor and tasted off. Buttermilk chicken i got was burnt also drenched in oil. All the while we waitied for a seat for 10 mins abd a further 15 mins to order after that. Never again.

06/06/2025: We found this place last Sunday and we can say the food was amazing... We went for the smash burger and chicken burger with skinny fries and add ons and it was just the best smashed burger I've ever had.. The thing was absolutely Hugh and the missus chicken burger was just impressive.... Highly recommended and the prices are good for the portion sizes... And the staff are very informative and helpful.... Great place.... 10/10

27/05/2025: I had eaten there previously on a golf trip, which was excellent. We were on vacation when we visited. We did make a reservation. The restaurant was not crowded but we were given a table next to the kitchen door. We weren’t told specials as we other tables were. Food was OK as was service. I sensed it was because we were from the US.

09/06/2025: Our server- Alan (Black short hair and tall) was absolutely wonderful and couldnt commend him more if I wanted to. Wont leave here hungry as portion sizes are decent. Was instantly seated when we walked in during a busy enough service. Wasnt waiting more than 15 minutes for food. Would recommend buttermilk chicken burger because was as fulfilling as it was delicious. Cocktails were amazing. Will visit again.

24/05/2025: We stayed here for a wedding last week. From the moment we stepped in the atmosphere was lovely and homely. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The whole hotel, rooms included were the cleanest I have seen in a long time and the food was divine! Seriously impressed with this hotel!

04/05/2025: Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was rather old-fashioned but it fit well with the charm of the hotel. The bathroom was very large and everything was clean. The staff was super friendly. From reception to breakfast, everything was very accommodating. The place was also very idyllic, it was a 5 minute walk to Bunratty Castle.

21/04/2025: We arrived late in the evening, well past dinner, and were warmly welcomed by the man at the front desk—who I believe is the owner. Despite the hour, he kindly offered us some brown bread and salmon, which was such a thoughtful gesture and very appreciated after a long journey. The whole place was absolutely lovely. Every single person we interacted with made our stay even better—from the friendly man originally from Ohio, to the cheerful waitress who recommended Coco Puffs to our kids (not a cereal we usually have in the US) It’s the little things like that that make a stay memorable. The Irish breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the bathroom was simply gorgeous. But more than anything, the hospitality we received—especially from the owner—really stood out. It made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. A truly lovely stay from start to finish. Highly recommend.

19/05/2025: the food is fabulous, have been twice now both times i went down & the staff is very quick to help you & get you things. sometimes it feels a bit hectic but i can imagine running a cafe it can be like that.

Since discovering the Lighthouse Cinema in 2021, it’s become a must-visit every time I’m in Dublin. 10/06/2025: A really lively meal, good sizportions too. The Sirlion on hot skillet with stir-fried vegetables delicious. Goats cheese and chicken and pesto was a strange combination, especially with BBQ sauce over it!
