03/01/2026: Had the mussels, the crab cake with smoked fish, the lamb and the panfried hake. The crab cake was the best part of the meal for sure, although the others weren’t bad either.

The room I stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It made me feel right at home. A special thank you to the lovely hostess Beata, whom I met upon arrival: her kindness, smile, and professionalism truly touched me. People like her make you feel instantly welcome. More broadly, everyone I met during these few days in Ireland, and especially in Kildare, was absolutely wonderful. I sincerely recommend that anyone passing through Kildare stay at Thomas Silken Accommodation and stop by without hesitation for a drink, a meal, or a place to sleep. It's also just a few minutes' walk from the outlet mall. A big thank you to you all for these wonderful moments. I wish you all the best and please take good care of yourself. See you soon, I hope.

25/12/2025: Really poor service for a second time at this branch, last time we ate here the waiter left the food on the table with a grunt and no explanation of what the dish was or who it was for. This time it was a take away order with the staff member completely ignoring our presence for several minutes whilst they continue to wash dishes at the counter. Never again. Do better.

26/10/2025: We had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Simple Simon in Donegal Town! I ordered the vegetarian rosti, and it was outstanding — perfectly crunchy on the outside with layers of creamy avocado, topped with fresh arugula and tangy pickled red cabbage. The sides of roasted beets, feta cubes, and pumpkin seeds added the perfect balance of flavor and texture. My husband went for the BLT, which was packed with flavor — beautifully toasted bread filled with crisp bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, and fresh salad greens. Everything tasted so fresh and thoughtfully prepared. They also have a great selection of coffees, which made the meal even better. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautifully presented dishes — can’t recommend this spot highly enough!

03/01/2026: We recently celebrated my sons' birthday party at Bumbai Creative Restaurant, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the day special. The food is truly authentic and every dish we ordered was yummy. A huge shoutout to the kitchen for the Malai Kofta—it was customized perfectly to our taste and was a massive hit with our guests. The Dal makhani was also amazing, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Everyone had a fantastic time and left with full bellies. If you’re looking for great Indian food and excellent service in Leixlip, this is the place to go. Thank you, Mahipal Ji and Bumbai team!"

18/01/2026: Nicely decorated restaurants stone walls and ceiling beams,wasn't impressed by the service ! We were waiting 20mins to be even asked for our orders thats criminal !! ,no offer of jug of water or titbits to nibble on as you wait.The food itself was ok the burger is super thin you get 2 on your bun to try make it look decent,the fries were average, also what put me off returning here is the noise of the music blaring I feel like you're competing with the racket playing while trying to have a conversation.

Food was incredible and great value: chicken wings crispy and flavorful, half roasted chicken juicy perfection, fish and chips outstanding. A must-visit gem! Cash & Card accepted

24/02/2026: We went here a couple of times whilst in Dublin, once during day and once on thr night and both times were brilliant. Stunning building with great vibe and great cocktails. Live music on a Saturday night.

16/02/2026: Live music, our young teenagers were welcome (were there at around 7pm), and our server was polite/attentive. Obviously, Temple Bar prices are to be expected. Guinness was €9.90 and larger were €9.95.
