The best restaurants

18/07/2026: We went for dinner here and were quite pleased with it. I've tasted a lot of pulled pork in my life, and genuinely think the pulled pork here is one of the nicest I've ever had. Generous portions, and the staff were extremely friendly. Prices were good for the amount of food we received too.

11/07/2026: Best beef burger ever, food is delicious, ribs and brisket just made to perfection. Service is a plus. Will come back for sure.

13/07/2026: Absolute joke kids could only go on the boats not aloud where shorts on the slides so bring trousers for the kids if you do decide to go, we drove an hour and a half from sligo to see the place not great at all worst experience ever we taught we would have a fantastic day with the child bit ended up leaving after half an hour waste of a journey... i did not like it as you got rid all of the god stuff

12/07/2026: Just visited this beautiful site Thursday and found out that it is closing for the next two years for renovation works. The house is beautiful but definitely in need of some TLC, would definitely revist to see it in all its glory once work has been carried out. We particularly enjoyed the Swan pedalo boats as this was a new experience for my kids. Would totally recommend a visit once it is up and running again

15/05/2026: Bubbly staff and killer coffee. Went here with my girlfriend. She had the Putóg Dubh (black pudding) and I had the avacado toast. Usually when you order something like either of these it comes on a varnished slice of sourdough that you'd need a (never provided) steak knife to cut. At Manna the bread was a lovely middle ground between soft and crispy and if you like a drier black pudding then you'll love it here.

13/07/2026: We had a very disappointing experience this morning and won't be returning. The restaurant opens at 10:00 a.m. We arrived about 7 minutes early because we had mistimed our journey. We politely asked a member of staff who was unloading drinks if we could wait outside at one of the tables rather than sitting in the car. We explained that we had three young children, including a 6-year-old with severe autism, a 5-year-old, and a 15-month-old, and that the small car park was right beside the road with nowhere safe for the children to wait. We made it clear we were happy to wait until opening time. About six minutes later, our autistic son unexpectedly ran towards a door that turned out to be the kitchen entrance. I immediately got up and ran after him, but before I could reach him, the staff member began scolding him. I explained that my son has severe autism and doesn't understand boundaries in the same way other children do. Instead of showing any understanding or compassion, he simply repeated that they didn't open until 10:00. I pointed out that it was now 10:00, and he responded with a smart remark. I then asked, "Should we just leave?" His response was simply, "Yes," delivered in a way that made it seem like he couldn't have cared less. I completely understand that staff need to protect kitchen areas and that children shouldn't be entering them. I wasn't upset about being stopped—I was already on my way to get my son. What was upsetting was the complete lack of empathy and the dismissive attitude shown towards a family doing their best, especially after explaining our son's disability. Good food can bring people back, but kindness and basic human decency are what leave a lasting impression. Sadly, we experienced neither.

03/08/2026: Easily our favorite bakery in Ireland! Not only are they baking incredible artisanal sourdough, but their pastries are also highly skilled and innovative. They even offer a much higher quality of coffee than you typically find at a bakery. On top of that, they feature a small menu of prepared food. The classic sambo was packed with flavor and had a perfectly crispy exterior. The only downside is that with so many beautiful pastries on display, you might experience decision paralysis! We actually got back in line just to buy extra pastries to-go. The maple pecan roll is the one I'll be dreaming about! We also picked up a small loaf of ciabatta to enjoy later with lunch. The line moved fast, the staff were absolutely delightful, and they have some nice outdoor seating to enjoy breakfast. This is honestly one of the most well-balanced bakeries I've ever experienced.

02/08/2026: Went in at 9.30am and 12.30pm for food and drinks. Both times we waited just over 5 mins to order and then less for the food. They staff in there are super lovely and patient, they took time with each customer. The selection of pastries and savoury options is great! This place is always a must when passing day. We basically came down to Ennis today from Galway just for Sourdo'Farrell. The sambos are very fresh and flavourful. I would recommend the kimchi toasties! Oh we also got a apple crumble Danish, that was class.

05/08/2026: Cheapest Beamish (5.30 as of August 2026) in Dublin (unconfirmed cheapest but good value) locals pub so respect required

07/07/2026: I came in this restaurant a few days ago with my gf. Food was absolutely incredible, wine as well, the 2 young girls who served us where very professional and the ambient was lovely. We don't live close, but we will come back for sure :)

22/07/2026: If you are in the area, be sure to stop by Mary's Bakery! In her small bakery, you'll find freshly baked treats and the coffee is ready. Have a scone; Mary will put a spoonful of jam on it for you if you like. But we especially enjoyed the chocolate truffle slice! You definitely shouldn't miss this place!

13/07/2026: Mary’s Bakery is simply the best! The home baked goods are some of the tastiest I have ever had & we tried almost everything (scones, carrot cakes, sausage rolls, potato cakes, etc.). Mary herself is an absolute gem, warm, welcoming & passionate about what she does. You can tell that everything is baked with care and love. Highly recommended! Thank you Mary x
