08/03/2026: Had my wife’s birthday in Empioli with a group of 16. The food was class with great quality, generous portions, and very good prices. The staff were exceptional and looked after us really well all night. Great spot for a celebration — we’ll definitely be back! 🎉

27/02/2026: Great food. I tried the jujeh chicken, it was lovely. Kid friendly and the kids pizza was so fresh. The atmosphere was excellent. We were served by Ashling, who was very helpful. Would definitely go again.

17/03/2026: Had so many choices and so thankful we chose this place. My Ribeye was the best, chips were perfect and have a great selection of beers! My wife had fish and a glass of some California wine selected by the bartender, was a perfect fit. Highly recommended to eat here!!

04/12/2025: Went here for food and drinks on a trip shortly after getting married this summer. The food and service were incredible. We loved every moment of it. When we told them we'd just gotten married, they gave us a free drink. So generous. Will be back every time in the area.

04/09/2025: So many savory options! Best Italian I have had since going vegan. Got there, given an hr wait, went nexdoor til she called us over earlier than expected, and she waited a little extra while we finished our pints. Kind service staff. Loved the fresh ingredients. My pesto ravioli with sweet potatoes was fantastic. The linguine were perfectly al dente and we could see them being made. Saved room for dessert, the strawberry hill was delicious. All so perfectly balanced, really. Try the appetizers! We got the socca farinata. My Omni bf and I (vegan) thought this was some of the best food we've had. Cozy, romantic, welcoming, & affordable, too.

30/12/2025: Called in here after the rugby, the place was packed but didn't have to wait to long to served and the pints were great. All the staff were friendly and the local lads made us feel more than welcome. We had a really good night and came away with a t-shirt as a souvenir.

06/11/2025: My first visit today and will definitely be back next time I’m in town. Gorgeous food, coffee and generally lovely vibes! They have a couple of vegan options too that included the best mushroom soup I’ve ever had :)

10/03/2026: Ordered for takeaway, disappointed. Food wasn’t terrible but for the price it was disappointing. Calamari was stogy and felt like it wasn’t deep fried for long enough, bater was soft and not crispy. Mains were ok though the pasta was very soft, sauce was a little runny but tasted ok. It felt like nothing was made fresh, like it was reheated. I’m sure when you eat in the restaurant its of much higher quality, but that experience didn’t transfer to takeaway.

12/03/2026: Been a few times and it’s always been good but this was our first weekday visit. Steak was chewy, burger was chewy (all four of them) and we ordered six sides and only four arrived. Despite us reminding the server twice it took ten minutes to bring the extra chips by which time one of our group had finished their burger. He didn’t even blink when we complained. It costs virtually nothing to comp us a tea or coffee as an apology but nothing. The manager happened to be clearing dishes from the table sometimes later and he asked if we enjoyed our meal and we told him we didn’t and he did offer a dessert on the house but at this stage we didn’t even want to hang around. Won’t be going again which is a shame.

12/03/2026: I decided to have my graduation dinner at Featherblade, and I was absolutely delighted with my choice. Fantastic service and great food!

23/01/2026: Brian is awesome at this teeny tiny pub! We were only able to stay for one drink (tired mother-in-law), but we wish we could have stayed for hours! Thanks for the brief bit of music and camaraderie!

24/12/2025: A lovely location and great service with a very nice team. Stayed for 2 nights and had 2 rooms on the top floor. Marked down from 5 stars as 1) Top floor carpets and rooms could have been cleaner: lots of hair on carpet which a better hoover would pick up, quite a bit of dust on shelves, and TV was broken (aerial not attached) so couldn't get TV channels. Noise insulation between floors not great, a drunk couple on floor 1 woke us up on one night as they were in the room below. But the beds were comfy, the food in the cafe is good. It's good value for money.

19/12/2025: Great spot in kinsale. Dog friendly too! They have a garden area for those with their dog. The food, drink and service is all perfect 😊
