Umi
Cork
31/03/2026: The food is delicious, prices reasonable, and staff very friendly and helpful.
30/03/2026: Delicious food, great portions. Fantastic staff, who make good vibes. Plenty of healthy choice. Yummy 🤤
The soup was what I needed in a cold rainy morning. And the crunchy falafel, followed by home made humus and wine leaf rolls.
Good location in a centre of the city.

The Winding Stair
Dublin
06/05/2026: First meal in Dublin at The Winding Stair absolutely hit the spot after a long night of traveling. The whipped goat cheese salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the spicy tomato soup was pure comfort in a bowl. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and an ideal start to our Ireland adventure
06/05/2026: Our hotel concierge got us a reservation at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Highly recommended. We had the Dingle Bay Crab as a starter which was fantastic, the Pigs on the Green pork tenderloin which was very juicy and delicious and wrapped up with the bread pudding for desert.

The Loft
Birr
20/05/2026: This cafe was such a pleasant surprise. The BBQ pulled chicken sandwich I ordered was perfectly seasoned, juicy. My sister went for the Italian and it was equally impressive. The coffee was excellent as well, which made the whole meal even better. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the ambience had that cozy, inviting feel that makes you want to linger. A fantastic experience overall.
09/05/2026: Lunch was absolutely gorgeous, very fresh and tasty. A great menu everything looked amazing. Beautiful location.

O'SHO
Cork
13/05/2026: Best Margaritas in Cork !! Or rather Europe no word of a lie, ask for Pat
13/05/2026: My favourite South-side pub!
Pint of Beamish is still less than a fiver and I love how I can eat my Miyazaki takeaway food with a pint. Pub also has Iyer cafe food and loads of events, like analogue night, game night, and crafting night.
Servers are friendly and sound! Always good music and vibes.
Hope they bring the gelato back this summer!

Shoe Lane Coffee
Dublin
10/01/2026: The staff are pleasant. Great coffee and buns. There is a second floor with Wi-Fi. The place has a great atmosphere: there is an old sewing machine in the window display, and barrels of coffee nearby.
23/12/2025: I’m a bit of a coffee nerd and this place is a 10. Great coffee

The Rose Hotel
Tralee
20/05/2026: Beautiful hotel heaven on earth
18/05/2026: Stayed in the Rose Hotel on a Saturday night recently and from the moment at checkin we felt so welcome and at ease. I tour Ireland for a living and I thought the staff on reception, in the bar for dinner and at breakfast we so seasoned and professional it was impressive.
At reception, from the warm welcome to assisting us with some items we'd forgotten, they were a great help.
In the bar for food, they had GF options for our child and when one of us had to leave briefly, our food was kept warm (without asking) and their attention to us, engagement with our kids and prompt service really made it a great experience.
At breakfast, we got a warm welcome, prompt service and the seperate GF buffet had our child beaming. Can't compliment the staff enough, a great mix of experience and new staff. Clearly comes from the top down. This level of hospitality is what Kerry is renowned for. Room also very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Fieldings of Adare Restaurant
Adare
02/06/2026: All very well done. The rooms are not air conditioned; it doesn't get hot in Ireland
28/05/2026: Revisited the Woodlands with the IMET retreat. It has become an annual event and I love it. I look forward to the hotel, the bedroom, the food, the grounds, the spa ... It's just magic. Every staff member is so friendly and kind and helpful. Another wonderful experience. Thank you all 🤗

Tom Collins
Limerick
01/03/2026: Used to be amazing but every time I visit over the past few years, it is just slipping away...
08/02/2026: Absolute disgrace of a venue. Myself and two friends were there a week ago to catch up over a drink. When ordering our second pint we were told we were no longer being served as we had made a “bet” on who could pull a female member of staff. Bare in mind one of my friends is engaged, and the other is emigrating to Australia with his partner. Our conversation had consisted of slagging eachother for losing pool earlier in the day. The staff member would not even hear us out as we tried to explain that perhaps they had the wrong group of men and was rude and dismissive. I have never been so insulted in a premises or utterly embarrassed. I will never be back.

20/05/2026: Fantastic server Oscar ! Lovely food ! Quiet and relaxing atmosphere on a Wednesday!
17/05/2026: Excellent food. Very filling! Not many veggie or non crustaceans options. Warm, friendly service. We went on a Sunday night so it was quite quiet - not much they could do about the atmosphere! Recommended.

Fish Shop
Dublin
24/04/2026: A true hidden gem. The seafood was exceptionally fresh and top quality! The scallops were the best we’ve ever had, and the fish fry is easily the best in Dublin. An absolute must-visit, but be sure to make a reservation.

13/06/2026: Free gallery in the heart of Dublin. Some amazing art work from Italian masters and French impressionism. A great collection spread over multiple floors. Get there early as you will spend a day here walking around . This gallery would give any gallery in any country a run for its money.
12/06/2026: A lot of beautiful art, a few by world famous artists such as, Monet and Van Gogh, Renoit, etc. Great place to spend a.morming or afternoon.

Strawberry Hall
Dublin
21/05/2026: Great ambience indoor and outdoor. They also render to the takeaway pizzas from the food truck outside. Goats gruff. Best place to hangout with some pizza and drinks in summer.
11/05/2026: It was a busy que in the car park at lunch time (as you’d expect) so I thought it might be easier to just park and order at the kiosk.
While you can do this, it’s not really set up for pedestrian orders like say Dash at Hole in the Wall. It’s easier to drive through and at peak times there will be lots of cars.
The sandwich special was delicious. You can take away or eat at a very pleasant tented area beside the car park.
