20/04/2025: Probably the best 5* hotel in Ireland since the renovations. We stayed in the signature suite, it was the size of a large apartment with a designer bathroom and huge his and hers marble sinks and stylish interior decor. Really cosy outdoor hot tub in the spa. Will be back soon.

21/03/2025: Great Guinness, very friendly staff providing a warm welcome. We were on holiday in the area and called in every day for a pint. The pub provides food which we didn't purchase. The atmosphere is more a restaurant style, not an Irish pub, however the old cottage part is open Saturday and Sundays which looks cosy but we were there mid week. Highly recommend

12/04/2025: I brought my mum to the Connemara Coast for mother's day. It was our 4th stay and as always, it was beautiful. She's a vegetarian and ordered side dishes for dinner, as she didn't like the vegetarian option. They offered her another that was on the bar menu, and then pasta that was on no menu. It was so lovely, and an extra step they didn't have to take, but that was much appreciated. Can't wait to go back!

06/04/2025: Was out with my elderly Mother today and she can’t do any restaurants with stairs or steps, I knew that Picasso is on the flat, so it was ideal. The lunch menu is extremely reasonably priced and has an excellent selection on it. As we both love seafood, I knew that we would get some beautiful fish on the menu, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted like friends by all the staff who could not do enough to help us, without being in the way. We both had a beautiful Smooth chicken liver pâté to start, and the we both opted for the baked fish of the day.. it was oven baked cod with a very delicate garlic and white wine sauce, with fresh veg selection, and potatoes. There are also lots of wonderful Italian dishes available on the lunch, and a La Carte menus. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and were very satisfied with our meal. The restaurant is wonderfully decorated and spotlessly clean, as is the rest room, they have a great selection of drinks available, including Guinness and Peroni on draft. A huge selection of wines and soft drinks, and liqueurs. Thank you so much guys, we will be back soon. Molte grazie.

01/04/2025: There for mother's Day the menu was nice but unfortunately the food that came out wasn't as good as previous times I have been here. The desert was clearly microwaved and the duck was over cooked.

24/04/2025: Atmosphere beautiful, servers pleasant food mediocre Texas Roadhouse in USA is better. This is not a fair representation of a decent steak house in the U.S. Low to medium casual restaurant

27/03/2025: Arrive in Wexford yesterday and went to Mackens: The Cape Barr for our first drink @ 14:30’ish yesterday and stayed there until closing time last night. The owner “Eddie” was a lovely bloke and as the bar manager “Damien” was the business, a very nice bloke who made us feel very welcome and kept the conversation flowing. Excellent service, Very clean premises and the price of the pints were bang on. Most certainly I’ll be back up to Wexford and looking forward to visiting The Cape again. 18/03/2025: Excellent performance as always from John Spillane from Passage West in Cork. A unique artist and raconteur. The accolades are well deserved. First time in the Mermaid, but hopefully, it won't be my last. Great theater and facilities.

15/02/2025: For me, who I was looking for healthy food in Dublin, this little place was like a piece of heaven. I don't mean that you cannot eat good food in Dublin, it's just that it's not always around the corner. Many places look flashy but they don't care about food quality. So I definitely recommend Soup dragon.

23/01/2025: excellent food made home with love. I recommend the Salami sandwich which is delicious. The atmosphere is very calm and warm. I recommend it especially for those who have a limited budget (even if I were rich I would come here).
