02/05/2026: Come for the view, stay for Alan! The food is "just right" and the scenery is stunning, but Alan is the real legend. When I had a total nightmare with a charging app, he stepped in and saved my day with incredible kindness. It’s rare to be treated like a human rather than just "another tourist." Truly excellent service that goes way beyond the menu. 10/10 would get stranded here again!

10/04/2026: We had food there yesterday the lasagne was cold in the middle Had a roast dinner and the gravy tasted of curry said to the waiter about it and he thought it was funny We really enjoyed our self's there people and staff so friendly good pub shame about the food

16/06/2026: We rushed in, knowing we had very little time to eat. The place was a surprise, cute even if very cramped. They explained to us that some dishes could take a long time to prepare, so they suggested we try the Irish Stew, which was a ready-made dish. We did, and the stew was excellent!! The staff was a bit rude. I understand that working in an area always overrun with tourists is tiring and sometimes unpleasant, but a smile doesn't cost much, and customers sometimes come back again.

19/11/2025: Dodi Cafe offers really delicious coffee specialties and a great breakfast burger. Cozy place, friendly service. Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: Really good! Had a great, proper espresso and the loaded sourdough that I had was amazing, so flavourful and well spiced. It was a real standout meal on my Ireland trip!

02/06/2026: The chicken wings with blue cheese dip paired perfectly with the Guinness. It was so divine I'll never forget it! The combination of its safe location within walking distance of the airport and its local atmosphere was fantastic.

01/06/2026: Went to kealys to go out for dinner with my family, got told we have to give the table back within an hour, we orderd are starters and they took about 15-20 mins to come out, while we were waiting on are mains to come out a female staff member with short hair just came over to the table put the bill in the middle and said “well be needing this table now soon” and walked off, a person who was with us went over to her and said we are still waiting on are mains, she replied with “why did u order a 3 course meal if you knew you’d only had the table for an hour” which was just rude and disrespectful, are mains came out and we just felt uncomfortable eating trying to eat quick and felt like we weren’t ment to be there. A brownie was brought out immediately after are mains were taken away and parts of it was burned you could visibly see the black burn marks on it and we had to send it back, it was like it was just rushed out to us. Overall we were just disappointed with how rude that staff member in particular was and the way she said why did u order 3 course meals, as if we weren’t suppose to. Won’t be back

24/05/2026: Whelan’s just made my garbage list. I flew 5,000 miles last week to see Gabrielle Aplin and I got to the venue three hours before posted 7:30 doors, which was repeated several times by staff. I was first in line by a mile. So at 7:17, the guy says “We’ll be opening doors soon so have your tickets ready.” Being an international customer, my only ticket option was via the TicketMaster website so I pulled out my phone to pull it up, knowing it would take a few minutes with my limited cell service. Then he IMMEDIATELY lets everyone behind me into the venue 13 MINUTES BEFORE POSTED DOORS while I’m waiting for the TM site to load, only to make me re-enter my password and slowly reload again. By the time my ticket finally loaded, he had let all 200 or so in line into the venue and the best spot I could manage was three back on the side right in front of the PA with the annoying bright light shining directly into the crowd, which the lighting guy decided would be great to have on about half the time. Not to mention the two annoying drunk girls who decided to stand right next to me and sing every song as loud and as off-key as possible. I should have had the best spot in the house (I put in the work) and I was stuck in a spot that was the amalgamation of every concert horror imaginable. So thanks for NOTHING, Whelan’s! You’ll never get a positive shout out from this VERY unsatisfied customer. Get some staff who know how to read a stinking clock! Edit: The “harsh lesson” I learned is that Whelan’s lies about posted door times. It won’t be an issue in the future as I will never set foot in your establishment again.

24/05/2026: It is a bar with several distinct concepts. I visited on the weekend; the second-floor beer garden featured a silent disco with headphones, right next to it was a live band performance, downstairs was a regular pub, and next to that was karaoke. It is a place where global locals hang out regardless of age, rather than tourists.

22/05/2026: My wife and I had a great time today (May 2026) at Rustic Boowa. We found this place via Google Map as one of the recommended brunch places, and there was absolutely no regret coming here. The food (the soup and the stew) was delicious and we also had açai and carrot cake for desserts. Coffee was also good. It was so good that we bought some salad, quiche, and bread for our dinner too. We also bought their granola/muesli to bring back to Singapore as well. Highly recommended if you want to eat healthy. Cheers! Nb. They also sell a bunch of food from Poland as the owners are Polish!

25/04/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this bar. I ordered two pints from a barman with a beard who was extremely rude, not only to customers but also to his colleagues. Another staff member brought the card machine, and I paid as normal. However, shortly after, the same barman accused me of not paying, which was both embarrassing and frustrating. I showed him the receipt on my Google Pay as proof, and instead of apologising, he sarcastically told me to “enjoy your free pints” and then ignored me. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Staff should treat customers with respect and handle situations professionally, especially when they are clearly in the wrong. I won’t be returning.

23/11/2025: Fish and chips is excellent from here really enjoyed them. We were watching dolphins playing in the estuary while we ate.

20/11/2025: Great fish, but chips could be better (too thick and thus not crispy enough to me)

14/03/2026: Well-deserved 3x5 stars. I'd give it more, but I can't. The service, the atmosphere, everything in general is top-notch. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely visit.

09/05/2026: Food was better than some fine dinning restaurants. Exceptional service by Molly and Martin and Chef Cathal, Manager Georgina Desserts menu was very original. We stayed in the Glasson hotel and was good to have something different. Highly recommended 👌

25/04/2026: Came here for a meal as the glasson lakehouse restaurant is very poor. Was really impressed got a beautiful Asian salad to start and the rest of the food was just as nice. Lovely selection of wine, staff really nice. Real local family vibe in there. Plenty of noise so you can talk without being listened to. Would come back.

21/12/2025: I started taking CBD from Little Collins over a year ago, and since then my anxiety and intrusive thoughts have gradually decreased. About a month ago, I switched to CBN and noticed a huge improvement in my sleep quality — it’s been great. I definitely recommend CBD as an alternative treatment, and I highly recommend Little Collins’ CBD. Besides having the best CBD, their coffee is also very good.

19/12/2025: The three girls at the ground floor are amazing, Silvia, Lora and the one from Croatia too which i unfortunatelly forgot her name (hope she forgives me😅🙏). Quality of the CBD is super and the service is awesome. Highly recommended

16/05/2026: Our favorite Italian in Dublin. Highly recommend! They have the best lasagna and pizzas (and pasta, and desserts). Weekly special dishes. Attentive service. Make sure you book as the place is small and quite popular.

02/05/2026: Food here always slaps and portion sizes are massive. Had a gorgeous seafood pasta, and my bf had a Ragu pasta, there was so much sea food and ragu in both - really good value. The mushroom pizza is so good too - I’m always craving it. Love having this little neighbourhood gem
