18/07/2026: Lovely food and nice view of the sea.

18/06/2026: Coffee and treats were ok... but staff was not particularly friendly

07/08/2026: Very limited offering but the food was sufficient.

07/08/2026: First off: The restaurant is entirely vegan and the burgers are fantastic. However, when we were there, all the mushroom dishes were unavailable (there are quite a few in the restaurant), and we were only informed of this when we tried to order them. Overall, the service was minimal and not particularly friendly.

16/07/2026: We had lunch at Shamrock Lounge after we visited Cahir Castle, we were immediately welcomed and chose from the well stocked, but carefully chosen lunch menu. The service was very quick and kind. We had the roast and the fried mushrooms, both very tasty. The roast was pretty traditional and hearty, like my grandma would make it. The interior is old-fashioned pub-like, charmingly old and it’s obviously an important part of the local community, the server knew every regular by name. The price was very fair and we’d love to come back anytime.

07/07/2026: Was only there to park the car during a show in the Bord Gais Theatre. Great location and only a 10 minute walk to the theatre. Much better value for money than city centre parking.

16/07/2026: Great breakfast. The pancakes were delicious and the bacon had real flavor! Generous portions!! We didn't eat anything until evening, haha. Friendly welcome and great staff with kids. Excellent value for money.

19/07/2026: We arrived for my 40th birthday party for a family meal, from start to finish it was amazing. I would like to thank you for a fantastic meal. Special mention to Mary our host, 👌 the lovely air conditioned loft restaurant was perfect on a hot day. The food was exceptional. Could not fault it at all. Really impressed

15/07/2026: A great traditional pub, lovely staff. Only marking down as the batter on our fish and chips was quite stale and seemed like it had been sat cold for a while. Also the toilets were quite dirty and the toilet seat wasnt attached.

18/07/2026: I went to white rabbit on thursday and they were extremelly rude. I ordered and the servwr was rude, she said to me pointing with the finger and raising the voice to wait outside. I was regular custumer, but not anymore.

09/07/2026: It's hard to find seats when it's busy and the atmosphere will become stuffy if there's too many people. Other than that, the food, quality, and service were great! Their portions are perfect for sharing and there is even a small shop selling asian snacks and a place at the front where you can get bubble tea.

18/06/2026: We stayed in Behans Horseshoe Bar during Listowel Writers week. Our stay was most enjoyable. Clean, friendly, helpful, quiet, and hospitable. We did not eat in the bar as we had made other arrangements, but were sorry as we heard from different sources that the food was A1. We would recommend this BnB highly . Mairin Scully & Brid Martin .
