13/04/2025: We really enjoyed our visit today.Lovely walks. Staff very nice .There was an Easter trail for the kids and a treat rewarded at the end. The cafe serves really nice food and drinks.
12/04/2025: Now, it was beautiful weather, which always helps, but what a great way to spend a morning. The gardens are fabulous and inspirational. The staff are informative and helpful. The castle is Birr's greatest asset.

Lo abbiamo scelto in base alle recensioni che lo consigliavano.
Niente da dire sul personale che è stato veramente gentile.
Il problema è stato il cibo.
Abbiamo scelto del pesce crudo che noi amiamo molto.
Per il prezzo pagato si può mangiare decisamente meglio.
27/04/2025: Wir waren anlässlich unseres 10 Hochzeitstag es für einen Kurztrip in Dublin. Das SOLE war ein Tipp eines Arbeitskollegen, der aus beruflichen Gründen öfter in Irland ist und dieses beim Geschäftsessen mit Einheimischen zu schätzen gelernt hatte.

Unser Keller Lawrence hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und war sehr aufmerksam.
Da wir bei der Buchung den Hochzeitstag mitangegben hatten, gab es noch eine nette Geste aus der Küche und einen wirklich schönen Tisch in einer etwas privateren Ecke.

21/02/2025: On the surface, a warm and thoroughly well stocked bar and restaurant. My thanks to our host, Fergus who took the trouble to send me the menu via email. What a pleasant surprise it was to experience the food. It was superb, our compliments to the chef. But a special shout out must go to Claire, Castletownshend's soon to be answer to Professor Elizabeth Tanner. Hold on to her for as long as you can Fergus. Claire was kind, genuine and a complete credit to your establishment. Thank you all for a lovely experience. Mark and Deirdre.
31/12/2024: Had a lovely lunch in here today. Staff were warm and friendly. Food was phenomenal. Would recommend the crab salad for starters. Pictured below is the specials dish of scallops and pork belly. Thanks team

07/04/2025: Great food, top service, and a brilliant location. The burger and Mediterranean Salad with chicken were spot on. It's also a kid-friendly place, and we found the value for money for the kids really good- a good quality burger and three scoops of ice cream is a good deal. We'll definitely be back.
28/03/2025: Lovely place for coffee, cocktails and dining. Highly recommend The Grayson, they also offer lots of flavorful vegetarian and vegan options. We tried the purple risotto with golden beetroot, honey roasted parsnip and carrots, and spiced cauliflower with harrisa hummus which were all delightful. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was beautiful.

04/04/2025: This is a nice cafe and coffee is extremely good. The pastries 🍰 are nice. The ambience is quite nice and relaxed. Have seats outside and inside also. Their breakfast menu is good with some vegetarian options.
