The best restaurants

28/07/2025: We got Damien to cater a party for us recently. I wanted buffet lunch for 40 people. We got a selection of sweet and savoury pastries that absolutely fit the brief, including an absolutely fantastic, fancy chocolate mousse cake as a centrepiece birthday cake for the big day. It was all available for collection exactly when it was supposed to be, and it was all delicious. Everyone was well fed, with very few leftovers (but enough leftovers not to have to cook the next day, which is important). Excellent result, highly recommend.

13/05/2025: The best café! Everything here is super tasty — the coffee, the cakes, the sandwiches… seriously, everything is delicious! But what really makes this place special is the people. The staff is so sweet and polite, and they’re always so kind and gentle with my baby. That wins my heart every time! It’s cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. I feel lucky to have found this gem so close to home. Totally recommended!

03/07/2025: The food in Rudy's was exceptional. We were in a group of five, all with different meal choices, and rave reviews from all. The restaurant was busy, so there was a bit of a wait for the food, which is understandable. We were near the kitchen and could hear, what I assume, were the extractor fans, which made it difficult to talk at times. Additionally, the restaurant was quite cold, and could be uncomfortable at times. Overall an enjoyable experience.

31/07/2025: Great little spot. Service was quick and friendly. Our coffees were given to the wrong table. Mistakes happen, they fixed it so quickly we hardly noticed. And it was worth the brief wait, these were the best lattes we had in Ireland! Wonderful atmosphere.

23/07/2025: Good value, tasty sandwiches and our waitress couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. A lovely place to stop for a quick bite to eat.

22/08/2025: Delicious dining experience! Firstly the venue had a great buzzing atmosphere especially for a Wednesday night. It looked great. We had some great drinks. Now the star of the show, the food … fabulous tastes and flavour. Spicy Sushi and a lovely chicken and potato main which also had a great source. If you’re passing by, you have to eat there !!

11/06/2025: We booked the Bay Tree for my sister's hen party dinner. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. We had the private room at the back which was just perfect, and allowed our group to enjoy each other's company without feeling like we were bothering other customers. The food was also beautiful. Most definitely recommend!

04/06/2025: Absolutely tasty food. Great service and warm atmosphere and cozy interior. There is beautiful masterpieces on the wall, by Irish artists, you could by if desires. We e spend lovely time in this restaurant and had unforgivable dinner. Thanks❤️

21/07/2025: Absolutely lovely café! Great selection of coffee — you can even choose your favorite type of Arabica, which is a real treat for coffee lovers. The interior design is beautiful and cozy, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The barista was wonderful — super friendly, attentive, and really knows her craft. Highly recommend this place!☕️🩷

05/08/2025: A huge pub with three separate bars. Loots of visitors when i was here and pricing is pretty good also. They do a mean guiness that surely made me happy wanting more :D Out and indoor seating availble and friendly faces and smiles aswell. This however isnt a hotel... its a pub :)

05/07/2025: Great pub serving their own brewed beers. Good and helpful service when you get to the front of the queue. Only one person serving when more were needed.

22/07/2025: Pros: staff were super nice. Cons: too small tables and space within the restaurant, it’s like they turned a bathroom into restaurant (don’t be fooled by pictures), there was barely any space for moving around as well. The food was God awful, I was so hungry but the food was so disgusting I couldn’t have more than 2 small pieces. But the most disappointing and horrible thing was the terrible and food burning smell under your nose, again it’s like they were cooking right behind the curtain next to you. I lost my appetite due to that and terrible food taste. Also Dublin is usually cold but not that day plus with such a place and food burn and cooked smell there has to be an AC!! We really couldn’t stay, it was not so long after food we just quickly paid and left. Too tiny too tight too hot too awful. On top of that the waiter extra charged for tip, I overtipped because the staff were too nice and I just felt like it but I said the overall price so the tip included in what I added for food but I was charged 15€ more which I realized later when I checked my bank account. I mean seriously!

03/08/2025: *FOOD NOT WORTH THE PRICE* I paid €54 for 4 measley ham& cheese toasties, tea x3 and a black coffee. After paying for my order, I was shocked at the price but remained optimistic as I thought to myself "the sandwichs must be decent". However, when the waitress brought them out to my group, I was severely disappointed with the size of them. They were literally tiny with a little side salad to make it look fancy. You could literally see 3/4's of the plate with the lack of food on it. If you are paying that sort of money, the least you could do is beef up the sandwich and maybe throw a few chips on the side for the customer. The cost of living is already hard enough, I really didn't appreciate this happening. I will never return here again for that very reason. Extortionate prices for the portions of food handed out. On the other hand, the waitress's were lovely people. Very welcoming and chatty people. There a credit to the place. Its an awful pity about the above though.
