28/05/2026: “Lovely café with both outdoor seating with umbrellas and a comfortable indoor seating area. The coffee is very good, prices are fair and actually better than many nearby places. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. They also have the Squid app loyalty system where every 10th coffee is free — a small thing, but it makes customers happy. The only downside is that because the café is very popular, there can sometimes be a longer wait for coffee during busy hours. A larger coffee machine with more groups would definitely help. Overall, highly recommended!”

18/09/2026: The place is very nice, softly lit, not too noisy, perfect for conversation. The menu is simple, with four sandwiches to choose from and the option to add ingredients like cucumber, tomato, bacon (for an extra charge), and sauces. The staff is friendly, unobtrusive, but just the right amount. The cheeseburger is good, not too big, but just enough to fill you up. The meat is good, cooked to perfection, just how I asked for it. Excellent value, especially in a city like Dublin, where prices have risen significantly.

01/08/2026: Food was 10/10. We had the double smash bacon burger with the garlic Parmesan fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The burgers were full of flavour, the fries were unreal, and the quality was excellent. What really stood out, though, was how kind the staff were. They made our toddler feel so welcome, and their kindness genuinely made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Cork. Highly recommend!

31/08/2026: My Cabbage and bacon was excellent as was my wifes Scampi. Bread and butter pudding with ice cream and custard was to die for. What a beautiful Bar! And spotless!

29/08/2026: Great place great location traditional Irish bar service was fantastic and the food was amazing go for the lunch or the al carte menu it won't disappoint portion size is good and all served hot. Will definitely be back

07/07/2026: We had an incredible dinner at The Saddle Room! After spending 2 weeks traveling in Ireland, we had lots of great food. This meal was definitely the best! Our server Ellen was so sweet and attentive. She gave great recommendations and was very kind to our 1 year old daughter. Highly recommended this place for a fancy dinner.

31/08/2026: We had an exquisite night here. Mike and his team are incredibly personable and Mike loves to come out of the kitchen and meet and greet his punters, he is a lovely man. The setting is fab, and the building has a fantastic story. It was a rent collectors during English rule and then during the great hunger they gave out tickets to sail to America, not free I may add…you had to relinquish your property to the English landlords. Enough about that… the food is excellent. The prawn cocktail is a throw back with modern flare. The catch of the day, Hake, was cooked perfectly, and the scallops were to die for. Love this place and highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: I used this hotel during a trip. Even though it was during summer vacation, it was a weekday, so there weren't many people on the street, and it wasn't crowded. The music was quite loud, but we could still have a conversation. The food was delicious. The starter had a mild flavor and plenty of mussels. All the staff were kind and friendly.

01/08/2026: I should start out by saying that I have only given 5 Stars to a handful of restaurants around the world and I have done hundreds of reviews. John Paul and his staff are spectacular at providing some of the most different, flavorful and incredible dishes of any place we have been in the last 2 weeks in Ireland.

22/09/2026: The food served here is incredibly tasty, especially the jumbo prawns are sublime 👌 the service is very attentive and super friendly. The dark Irish bread served with delicious butter is a delicacy in itself.

21/09/2026: Loved this restaurant! We ordered the wings, crab claws, and mixed oysters and seasonal veggies. Portions were perfect, and everything was very flavorful. Highly recommend all the items especially the natural oysters and crab claws. Service was great too. Thank you for this lovely meal ❤️
