17/12/2025: What a lovely genuine tea rooms with the most delicious home made (how rare this is today) cakes, biscuits and muffins. Full of atmosphere and great friendly service. You couldn't get better!!

23/04/2026: We arrived for a 7:30pm reservation and were left waiting outside in the cold and dark past our booking time while guests were admitted two at a time—at one point the door was literally closed in my face. Inside, the room feels overthought but not comfortable, with a layout that has diners facing away from the room and dulling any sense of occasion. The tasting menu format now feels dated: long ingredient recitations that are hard to follow and create constant background noise as each table hears the same speech. The food was competent rather than exceptional—an asparagus soup, the lamb, and some chocolate were very good —but nothing approached two-star level, with much of the presentation feeling performative. We're talking bits of food hanging off bronze twigs. Service was inconsistent: Ailish and Johnny were excellent, but elsewhere it slipped. I’d read an interview where Damien Grey said the room can be “whatever you want it to be,” quiet if you want quiet; that wasn’t true. A table who appeared to know Danien were loud, drinking heavily, swearing across the room, and receiving constant attention —you can’t market refinement and then let one connected table dictate the atmosphere; in a two-star setting it reads as amateur. The non-alcoholic offering was also weak, essentially a single unnamed beer unless you opted for an expensive pairing. Overall, this felt closer to a one-star or even Bib Gourmand experience at best, but for this price it's not worth it. You will have a nicer time in Uno Mas or even Kickys.

20/04/2026: The dishes were very tasty. I enjoyed the flavors very much as well as the creativity in each dish. Everything followed an idea, somehow connecting the dishes. However, having dined in other Michelin-rated restaurants, I can say that this experience lacked something. While the food was delicious, I don’t think it was necessarily the most memorable. Some of the dishes missed this refined sense of complexity. I feel like some of the combinations could be a bit more elevated and interesting. However, I really enjoyed the eel mousse, and the asparagus dish, which I found to be the most interesting. On another note, I feel like either a few more dishes should be included in the tasting, or the portion size could be a bit larger. Overall though, the meals are tasty and prepared in a thoughtful manner. The chef is fantastic, and the atmosphere is excellent - it felt very cozy.

17/02/2026: Excellent quality food. Expensive but well worth it and good value generous portions you will not go hungry. Service is friendly and efficient. Nice cosy feel to the restaurant with a lot of character. Has a large outdoor area which is dog friendly and I believe they have a bicycle station for any quick repairs if you are coming off the greenway. This would be an excellent stop of the green lots of space to bring your bicycles.

15/02/2026: We have always been huge fans of Lock 13 from the food to the cocktails, nothing ever disappoints! We recently had our Day 2 of our wedding here and again it did not disappoint. Luke and Dan were a pleasure to deal with and nothing was any trouble. The area was perfect size and the finger food menu is very reasonable. Everyone is still commenting on the delicious food! 26/10/2025: The smoke was unbearable. They really need to fix the kitchen. Also,it's important to be flexible with the menu and accept changes to some plates especially when there are few option that are not classic.

25/10/2025: It is a very cosy place. The service was very good. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Her tattoos were great! 😀 The food was very tasty. It is worth to try a coffee with Baileys!

14/04/2026: We had dinner there the first night after our arrival. Of the entire trip, it was the best restaurant we ate at. The waitress was lovely and patient with our limited English. The dishes were original and delicious. We wanted to go back for lunch on Sunday before leaving, but they were closed, much to our disappointment. I highly recommend this restaurant! 🫶🏻

08/04/2026: Excellent food, super tasty with very generous portions, and the service was amazing. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed it, I would definitely come back and I highly recommend it 100%!

15/04/2026: I had such a fantastic experience on Monday, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jane. From the moment she greeted us, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic—it really set the tone for the whole visit. Jane’s recommendations were absolutely spot on. She suggested the seafood spice bag and the mussels, and both dishes were incredible—full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly chosen with care. You can tell she really knows the menu and takes pride in helping customers have the best possible experience. What stood out most was her friendly attitude and attention to detail. She checked in at just the right times, made us feel completely looked after, and added such a positive energy to the evening. If you get the chance to be served by Jane, you’re in for a treat. She’s an absolute credit to the team, and I’ll definitely be back again!

19/03/2026: We went without a reservation over St. Patrick's Day weekend and were greeted with good cheer despite the crowds. The value for money is more than fair. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Special mention to the unusual toilet door… I won't say any more ;)

16/03/2026: Was here for mother's day. Harry at the door presented me with a yellow tulip. Such a lovely touch. The food was unbelievable. The service was outstanding by a lovely young lady with long black hair I didn't catch her name, she was so patient with my 3 kids which made our experience very smooth. She was quick to order our food quick in getting it out and on the ball with their desserts. There was no messing around with her. Will definitely be back with the family....

20/12/2025: Tasty, juicy shish kebab. Good portions. Kind personel. 2 floors, enough seating for everybody. Halal . Recommend.

06/01/2026: Food was really good. I got make your own pancakes with Oreos, strawberrys and chocolate sauce and I loved it. The staff were really friendly and I could hear everyone I was with easily because it wasn't too loud

16/01/2026: Food was good. Group of 5 couples so in total we paid a large bill. When we came to pay the owner refused to allow us to pay separately as couples. We won't be going back there again!
