21/07/2026: Historic pub. Very fun. They used to have the best Guinness stew in the city and I just found out today when stopping in for lunch that they they took it off the menu a couple weeks ago. One of the main reasons I have gone back every time I'm in Dublin.

15/07/2026: Passed this place when we were heading to our hotel for a break before dinner. From the outside it didn't seem that cosy, but the reviews were incredibly good so we wanted to give it a try. Glad we did. At first it felt a bit intimidating to go in because it seemed like there were a lot of locals as well and we felt like intruders, but the owner/bartender came by our table for a quick chat, which made us feel right at home. The same bartender played some songs on the guitar as well, which was a nice surprise. Strong recommend!

01/10/2025: We were on holiday passing through Lahinch and selected The Edge for an early dinner at the recommendation of the owner of (or a worker in) Sue’s Lahinch Limited clothing store. It was an excellent dining experience, from the service, atmosphere, cleanliness and timing. But what’s most memorable for me and my husband was the SEAFOOD CHOWDER!! It is quite literally the best soup I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I am certain, the next time we visit Ireland we’ll plan a few days in Lahinch for sole purpose of enjoying the seafood chowder, oh and dining experience too! Kudos to the chef and the creator of the recipe. Know that I will be craving your soup from Ohio, likely for the rest of my life 😍. Well Done!!

18/07/2026: Honestly the best kebab I’ve had. Every time I go they’re always so friendly and lovely to chat to. Very reasonable price and loads of options to chose from.

The Staff were so friendly helpful and I rang in morning asking me i bring a Cake and it was presented so so beautifully . Staff Came out singing Happy Birthday ,whole customers started singing for her ,she was in tears so so special x Humanity needs to pour more love into one another . 28/05/2026: “Lovely café with both outdoor seating with umbrellas and a comfortable indoor seating area. The coffee is very good, prices are fair and actually better than many nearby places. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. They also have the Squid app loyalty system where every 10th coffee is free — a small thing, but it makes customers happy. The only downside is that because the café is very popular, there can sometimes be a longer wait for coffee during busy hours. A larger coffee machine with more groups would definitely help. Overall, highly recommended!”
