The best restaurants

03/10/2025: My mum and I had one of the best meals we've ever had here this past summer and I am praying they have it on the menu next summer (hence the review) It was one of the specials - Seafood pasta. The sauce was perfect with it and the garlic bread really added to the flavour - still dreaming about it now! Please make permanently on the menu next year, we'll come every week!

25/12/2025: Lovely garden centre. Great selection. But you'll pay malahide prices so bring a big wallet.

22/12/2025: A shop selling gardening products and plants. They also have home decor items and some chocolates and jams. They have a grocery store and a great café for brunch with a varied menu.

06/03/2026: Definitely the best restaurant in Dublin, it was really worth going there!

22/10/2025: Location was wonderful. the staff was very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible… Rooms were very outdated, extremely dusty/musty, beds very uncomfortable, Wi-Fi didn’t work half the time & AC was broken with inability to be fixed. The room also smelled terribly of a nursing home which did not dissipate at all with our windows open for two days.

21/10/2025: Such a great spot! I was visiting Galway for a few days with my family, and we could not have picked a better location. All the staff were so kind. Henrique at reception in particular was incredibly helpful and very fun to converse with.

15/03/2026: Very good bredkfast, plenty of choice apart from the full Irish. Good value.

31/12/2025: Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay here. My room was absolutely spotless clean and overall lovely. It is a great location, 20 minute walk from the city, and close to everything else. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again :)

05/11/2025: Popped in for a drink, was warmly welcomed by Padraig shaking my hand and enquired as to the reason for visiting Belmullet. On explaining my circumstances he and several customers provided me with information regarding relatives past and present. The Guiness was perfect. Can't wait to return.

16/02/2026: Everything was delicious, from the muffins to the scones. Perfect, smiling service. Highly recommended for a pleasant, rejuvenating break.

26/10/2025: Really good food and excellent service. A must visit if you are in Blanch village. Place is super clean and the ambience is good.

24/02/2026: A must visit pub if ever near Stillorgan. The food was delicious and prices were decent for the quantity. They do one of the best chicken wings in town. The ambience is very vintage. The staff were soo polite and kind. Highly recommend!!

02/02/2026: Unacceptable treatment and exclusionary service I visited The Mill House with my family, and we left feeling deeply insulted by the way we were treated. It was a distressing experience that felt pointedly discriminatory. The Experience: • Deliberate Seating: Despite there being plenty of available tables in the main dining area, the staff insisted on seating us in the bar area, specifically at a table directly in front of the toilets. • Complete Neglect: Once seated, we were effectively ignored. We were not provided with cutlery and had to wait over five minutes just to flag someone down for basic service. • Inattentive Management: The floor manager/supervisor was completely dismissive of our presence, while other tables around us appeared to be receiving standard care. It is heartbreaking to take your family out and be met with this level of bias. We were treated as "less than" other customers, and the "service" we received was non-existent. We will not be back, and I hope management addresses the underlying prejudices in how their staff chooses to seat and serve diverse groups.

18/03/2026: I had a wonderful experience thanks to Hazal, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Her warm and friendly behavior truly stood out and made us feel valued as customers, and on a special occasion like St. Patrick’s Day, her positivity made our experience even more memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Hazal, for making our day better!

18/02/2026: I bought an ice cream and a crep, I found 2 tiny hair in it 🤢🤢 and also the crep got me sick all day.

19/12/2025: Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff at pimientos. The back garden area especially is fantastic. The incredibly friendly staff always make amazing effort

26/12/2025: Excellent pancakes. I got the one with Nutella and strawberries. There's also a nice Italian guy in the place. Well done! Recommended.

07/03/2026: I love how it feels like the restaurant is full of locals, it’s such a good sign when you can literally spot returning customers. The host- great at her job, staff are super friendly and our food was great. My only critique is- I feel as though the high volume of locals makes the service for new/less frequent customers too casual. For example our waitress kind of just came over and gave us a thumbs when checking on us. Which in theory is fine, and we didn’t mind, but perhaps could be an issue for other diners.

25/02/2026: We had a lovely experience, we had a new staff waiting our table and she did great! Food was very good, we had the Guacamole (only thing that we wouldn't have again, quite tasteless, looked like it came out of a can) and the Hummus (gorgeous). Then the steak and Fish and chips for mains, both veery good. Ending up with the chocolate 'Budino', a smooth mousse that was the perfect way to end up the evening.
