The best restaurants

19/07/2026: We recently visited this restaurant after looking forward to it for quite some time, so it was disappointing to leave feeling underwhelmed. The biggest issue was the service. We felt forgotten about for much of the evening, waiting almost half an hour before anyone took our food and drink order. Once our order was taken, the staff we dealt with were friendly and the service itself was good, but the long waits really impacted our experience. At the end of the meal, we also waited so long to pay that we eventually had to leave the money for our bill on the table as no one came to collect it. The food was a mix of highs and lows. Some dishes were excellent and clearly well prepared, but other parts of the meal didn't meet our expectations. The mashed potato was quite bland, and some of the food was served only lukewarm rather than hot. I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews, but we had been really excited to visit and spent a significant amount of money on the meal. For the price, we expected a more attentive level of service and greater consistency with the food. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the restaurant clearly has potential, but our experience unfortunately didn't live up to the expectations.

30/06/2026: I didn't go inside the house; it's cheap, but I didn't think it was worth it. The gardens are spectacular for strolling. People bring their pets to the surrounding area, and there's parking. Depending on the access route, the roads are better or worse; some only fit one car at a time, and there are widened sections for passing vehicles. There's a short access road and a longer one.

18/06/2026: Great food, atmosphere, staff were attentive and in great spirits. We were just passing but will be back next time in the area.

07/08/2026: I had been looking forward to this experience for months as it was planned for my girlfriend's birthday. Unfortunately, I received an email saying that the restaurant had cancelled my booking. It was very disappointing, especially for such a special occasion that had been planned well in advance. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but I would have appreciated better communication or an alternative solution.

06/07/2026: Food and drinks were good. Our server was a girl from New Zealand, so nice to see someone from home! She was very lovely, will be coming back!

05/04/2026: My go to pizza place it is amazing . I love the garlic bread from there as they use fresh melted garlic and it’s delicious. The ingredients look and taste high quality. Would recommend

03/07/2026: I liked everything about this place. I went to eat the traditional Irish breakfast and I really enjoyed everything. In Ireland everything is very green and I had a look at the server who seemed to have green eyes.

21/06/2026: The first time we stayed at this hotel, the room was big and spacious. That's what we were expecting on our return. But we ended up with an end of the hall room, very small, the bed was against the wall, I could hardly get in after climbing over my husband. If they had told us the first visit that we had an upgrade, we we would not have been so disappointed. We came in late, due to our tour and were too tired to go down and try for another room. They said it was a queen deluxe but felt like a regular double. The room was clean and the staff very nice

19/06/2026: Very good hotel. The only complaint is our room was a bit small for 2 people with large suitcases and the flooring is sticky. The staff were excellent. Special thanks to doormen Guillermo and Helmut. They went above and beyond to be helpful. We would definitely recommend it to any visitors to Dublin. Safe and walkable to all downtown amenities.

19/07/2026: The vegetarian Irish breakfast at Catalyst Cafe was absolutely outstanding, easily standing out as one of the best cafe meals I’ve ever had. I was particularly impressed by the French toast, which featured a unique, custom flavor profile that was truly memorable. The staff was absolutely amazing, making the entire experience even better. I highly recommend visiting !

22/06/2026: First time visiting this cafe and will be back. It was a beautiful sunny day and there was a couple of tables outside on street and customers availing of the good weather. Situated on the Florence Rd in Bray just of the main street. Good location. Great parking around the area some of it is paid parking. Wheelchair accessible, all on the flat. Much bigger on the inside than what you would think from the outside. A number of tables inside. A nice selection on the menu. Good value. The Staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. A lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit. Child friendly.

20/06/2026: Exceptional dinner experience ! Peter looked after us so well, professional, friendly and a real flair for what he does. Impressed with the mixology also. Never have tasted chicken cooked so well. Beautiful interiors also.

04/08/2026: This was the best chineese food ever. They have all of the authentic stuff and everything is delicious. I would personally recommend The spice bag.

02/08/2026: I didn't find it particularly good; the chicken was dry. A 15% tip is mandatory.

11/07/2026: In the centyof town a traditional cafe which is very popular. Had a short wait for a table of 4 but no more than 5 minutes. Staff are friendly and the service was quick. Ideal for a quick bite to eat. Prices are very reasonable. Worth a visit.
