20/06/2025: Absolutely loved my experience at The Hacienda Bar in Dublin—it’s a true hidden treasure with a personality all its own. From the outside, it, but once you're buzzed in, you're welcomed into a wonderfully quirky space filled with charm and history. Shay, the charismatic host, makes everyone feel like a regular, and the atmosphere is warm, lively, and uniquely authentic. The decor is an eccentric blend of vintage touches and cheeky details, the jukebox is stacked with classics, and the whole vibe is inviting and unforgettable. It’s cash-only, which adds to the retro charm. Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: Ordered a delivery. The food was great, the portions were beyond good for the prices and the food was fresh and nice. The delivery staff followed every instruction to a tee, couldn't be more professional. Fantastic service and great food. Highly recommend. Edit: have been ordering for a couple of months. Food quality is consistently good and they go above and beyond to make a good delivery while following delivery instructions to a tee! Couldn't be happier!

18/07/2025: I really love this place👌The coffee and food are the best in the area, but the heat these days is truly unbearable inside; you can't even breathe. It's a very small space; a medium-sized fan is enough. I can't imagine what it must be like standing behind the coffee machine... I feel so sorry for the staff; at least we can go outside to the terrace 😪

20/07/2025: To say Newbay House, Maria and the team are incredible is an understatement! We had our day on July 5th with day two in Newbay House also! We were absolutely blessed with beautiful weather which allowed for a garden ceremony and pictures and a beautiful sunny BBQ for day two! From the moment we booked our date Maria and Rachel were so incredibly helpful and friendly! No question was too much! Paul ensured our menu was exactly as we hoped for and our menu tasting was stunning! The meal on the day was absolutely delicious and also th BBQ on day two, our guests are still talking about how gorgeous it was! A huge credit to Paul and his team! Everything was amazing throughout the weekend, we could not have been looked after to a higher standard and knowing this on your special day makes it so much more enjoyable and comfortable! I really cannot thank Maria, Rachel and the team enough and will recommend Newbay House to anyone

23/06/2025: I was part of the team who organised the Midsummer Ladies Lunch in Newbay this weekend and have to say we were looked after exceptionally well by an incredible team led by Maria. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering an event here to book without hesitation. The whole team was fantastic, Maria was incredible to deal with especially when there were a lot of moving parts on the day. Rachel was also exceptional. 10/10 service

10/08/2025: This hotel is in a perfect location for the whole of Sligo town clean well equipped rooms friendly staff good service great food this is the place to stay if you’re wanting a town visit every thing is within walking distance

14/08/2025: I recommend a visit to the college both for the lovely walk amid the university's greenery and for the very evocative internal quadrangle. The oldest part dates back to the mid-19th century.

29/07/2025: Incredible dining experience. Lovely to have a vegan / vegetarian menu in addition to the regular one. This is so rare so it’s really appreciated. I had the vegan cauliflower ‘wings’ which are actually croquettes to start - amazing my non vegan friends loved them too. Then for my main I had the sweet potato white bean feta cake - again just great flavours. Service was great and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Will go back any chance I get

14/06/2025: Probably the best and most authentic pizza in Co Waterford. Takeaway only. You have to book your pizza by phone. No point in just arriving in my experience.

05/07/2025: Food ok, coffee very good, but waiting times equal to those of the post office on a strike day. They apologized several times anyway. Little attention to detail, like the dirty table so much that we had to ask why it was clean. Possible children around screaming. They accept dogs, outside and maybe inside (but only puppies).

01/07/2025: Went here as this was one of the most recommended place in Wexford, for a reason! The food here is good, the vibe is good and it’s really special. I’d say I had the best mushrooms ever here! It’s simple yet the flavor was really fresh and amazing!

06/08/2025: The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were welcoming but some of the food was just not very good. The fish and chips were small and stuffed potatoes skins were not stuffed , but rather disappointing and dry not to mention tasteless. Feedback was given to the chef.

25/07/2025: A beautiful castle surrounded by a fabulous setting. A great place for a family trip. There's a playground for children, a carousel, and plenty of space to stroll. Of course, this attraction isn't just for families. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys old castles and open-air museums (because a few meters from the castle there's something like a village to explore). You don't have to go to the castle, it's not mandatory; you can spend time walking around the area, or rather, exploring this village. But let's get back to the castle. There are a few—what should I call them? The stairs are simply very winding, narrow, and very steep up and down. Which is an interesting experience :)) Overall, I like everything about it. The parking is free and ample. Buy souvenirs. Take a walk in the fresh air. I also recommend this place during the Christmas season. Beautiful lights, a colorful holiday atmosphere, and you can even meet Santa Claus. Everything is absolutely YES 👍

11/04/2025: One of the most gorgeous coffee spots I’ve ever been too, the atmosphere is divine, the staff are not only beautiful but the friendliest bubble crew. I had a coconut iced matcha and it was €2 cheaper any other place I’ve been to and one of the nicest I’ve had in a long while. The design, use of space and colour to create several seating areas, it’s a fantastic example of how small spaces can be used instead of being a tiny car park. Didn’t get any sweet treats but they looked incredible. 10/10 will be coming back
